I love Qdoba restaurants, so I may be a little biased. Compared to Chipotle and Pancheros, I still believe that Qdoba takes first place thanks to their 3-cheese queso. Looking past the chain as a whole, I noticed right away that this location was very unique. From speaking with the staff, I found out that this building was one of four prototypes built in the country to test out different branding strategies and decor. The CEO of Qdoba even ate there to get a feel for the ambiance. From my experience, the tables and dining area were much more inviting and warmer than standard Qdoba restaurants. I stopped by after grocery shopping on a Monday around 11:15am and it was pretty quiet, which gave me time to speak with the staff for a while. They were extremely helpful to explain the new queso flavors and menu options that had popped up since my last visit. They also walked me through the new app so I could understand and take advantage of my Qdoba rewards. I ordered a chicken queso burrito and queso sampler so I could taste some of the other new quesos. The staff even threw in a small cup of the other queso I hadn't tried yet so I could compare them all at once - a nice gesture showing their dedication for great customer service. You removed bbq sauce from you menu and it was my favorite. Why would you remove a condiment? I have not eaten here in months. Do you expect me to open my burrito at home and try to make it the way I like it. I really don't understand why business's make stupid decisions to drive customers away, especially during a time when customers are scare in public. I am a business owner myself and I would never do this to my customers. This is the 2nd time you took it off the menu. The 1st time you had a big uproar so you brought it back, but now when you have so many fewer customers you remove it from your menu choices because you know you will get fewer complaints? Usually like Qdoba but when we went there tonight they had 4 people working and we (three of us) were the only ones in the place. They ran out of vegetables after making mine so my husband said he would wait while they were prepping more. I asked them to let us know when they were ready. The two of us who got our meal were done and we still hadn't heard anything. I went to check if the the vegetables were done so he could take his home. They hadn't even started. One girl was watching videos on her phone. My father was also unhappy with his bowl. He hardly got any rice or meat. Poor service. read more

The Qdoba in Sioux City Iowa in morningside. Was the WORST Place I have ever been to. For $25 we had 2 Protein bowls. there was a Huge scoop of black beans. 1 small scoop of chicken (because they ran out) and didn't go get more till the second bowl. 6 pieces of onion/pepper( not even ahalf scoop full) and a half scoop of avocado. And 4 pieces of lettuce. I told them we were very disappointed with what we just got and being our first time there. we definitely wouldn't be back. Love the options the most and their Queso! The burritos bowls are great sized and extremely filling.

This is a chain that cooks and leaves their product out to be served to customers. This location, however, does not necessarily have many customers. Therefore, the food is usually dry by the time it is served. I then received one of the most excruciating stomach aches of my life soon after having digesting this food. I will not return due to this experience. Get better at the art of pleasing people with food, not sickening them with the thought of it! read more

Decided to give Qdoba a try on a Fri night and got us a couple bowls to try. I settles for the Sweet n spicy Chulula bowl or something like that . The wife made her own with all those choices and toppings. Mine was the best flavor I ever ate in a bowl and Chipotle is 2nd to none in my book. This bowl from Qdoba actually could of been my new all time fave. Only problem was they don't even fill the bowl. What a letdown that was. Same goes for the wife's bowl. She enjoyed it as well but they only give you half a bowl. Nothing even clise to Chipotle. There's a reason Chipotle is no.1 and there it is. They fill your bowl. It's rice people. Chicken and rice and I'm paying you 10 fir mine $10 for the wife's and chips salsa soda. Give me my $27 worth. Please. Fill the damn bowl . For that I fave you 2 stars only because on taste. Quantity you get 0 stars. What a letdown. I'll stay with Chipotle. Update.... Came back Sat night, the very next day, tried it again to see if maybe new workers or if they'd fill my bowl this time. Boy was I wrong. Even less in my bowl then on Fri night. Flavor wasn't there either like on Fri night. For this order and another $26 down the drain.,I rate it zero. I'm done with Qdoba you dropped the ball. I'll stick with Chipotle. Sat night you get 0 stars. To be no.1 you gotta beat no.1 and by that Qdoba you have to give the customer what they want. Best fresh Mexican in Sioux City. Yes it's a chain, but you would never know. They no longer charge extra for guac. Also BBQ sauce on the burrito is money. Their queso is delicious as well. I am here visiting and plan to eat here a few times this week. read more
