The food wasn't to my preference. I didn't get what I wanted because the beans were waters, I didn't know what sauces were which and the lady the served me was so impatient and rude. The lettuce was wet and soggy. The second guy that did my cold stuff was nice but I wasn't aware the the tomato's has onions in them, and I said "I'll have some tomato's" you would think they would tell me that there are onions in there the corn was ok but very flavorless. The food is delicious but the workers are consistently bad. They all seem to have an attitude and a demeanor like they wish to be elsewhere. Even when they are slow they act as if you are a nuisance and need to move quicker when giving your order. Looking through. The food was absolutely to die for. The customer service was phenomenal in contrast to the other reviews. The price was perfect, not to expensive and not really that cheap. Fed 4 people for $38 with each one being full as we left and I got a burrito which was absolutely amazing! You guys got to try this place. read more

When you see the same kind of low reviews about the service going back years and years, this is what comes to mind. Customers often do not know what's going on behind the scenes in an organization, but they can feel the effects of poor leadership. When employees are unhappy, they pass that on to the customers they serve. In the same way, when employees are happy and love what they do, customers naturally want to do business with them. Midland Qdoba needs to take que from the Mt. Pleasant location (5 of 5 service every time). Another note, the cashier with the mustache was extremely rude to us, tossed the receipt right at us as if we were trash, and had zero personality or etiquette. If it happens again I hope I can keep my composure but there's only so much somebody can take. If you're in management there I understand it's very hard to even find anyone to work nowadays, but that cashier needs to be let go. read more

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. It was my first and last time here, and I'm telling you-do not go here!!! I read the previous reviews before going and even though there were several comments about the terrible customer service, I decided to try it anyway. I'm not someone who usually complains when a place gets an order wrong but the blatant disrespect of the people who work here just blew my mind. I ordered the combo where you get two choices of entrees and they messed up BOTH. Which really shouldn't happen because the setup of the restaurant is like subway where they add the ingredients as you tell them. The people working the counter clearly just don't listen to what you say. I said what toppings I wanted multiple times and they just added whatever toppings they felt like- none of which I asked for!! And then had the nerve to complain to each other about me RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME when I asked them to correct it. Then as we were paying, they messed up the order of the people behind us! Unbelievable. To top it all off, the food was absolutely disgusting. It cost $20 for my boyfriend and I to eat there (isn't it supposed to be fast food?!) and we literally took two bites of our food and threw it in the trash. Don't waste your time. read more

Awful. Food is so, so. The queso is good. The service is beyond terrible. Tonight we ordered food online, when my husband picked it up- they told him they were out of chips. What? Seriously? If that is the case, why not go online and block out chips so people can't order them- especially since they "couldn't refund us". So we got coupons for free chips and queso- except it isn't free for the inconvenience as we already paid for it anyway lol. Then to top it off, they gave my husband another persons order. Overall good experience. Food tasted exquisite and the ambiance was prefect. Line took a while to get through yet we were very amused as we watched people make food! Felt slightly overpriced. A great meal deal for anyone looking for good food and good times. This restaurant is a place to make friends and memories. Better than Chipotle however not as good as Moes. For fast food, this is a cut above the other local chain offerings. This location is far better than the one in Saginaw about ten miles away; it's always cleaner here, better lit and food appears fresher. The food here is fresh and the staff is usually pretty good about allowing you to customize your order. Service goes down at busy times and I could do without the giant TVs in the restaurant, but overall this is a great location for tasty Tex-Mex flavors. If you become a fan of this location on Facebook, they have occasional trivia contests and the prize is a free entree. Participate in the excellent rewards program and you'll get free food on a regular basis. I wish for a salsa bar here, but you can't have everything, I guess. read more

Pros: Fresh Mexican flavors; lots and lots of menu options. I especially appreciate the freshness of the vegetables and the clean flavors of ingredients like black beans...what a difference from Mexican restaurants where the ubiquitous Tex-Mexican-ish tomato sauce and copious amounts of cheese are glopped over everything. Cons: I think this is more of a corporate matter than a local one, but the service always seems a bit confused on the other side of the counter, especially if the restaurant is busy...the kitchen logistics don't always seem to work. The staff sometimes seems under-trained. I also really don't appreciate the TVs in the eating area. But overall, this is such an improvement over the usual "Taco Hell" Mexican fast-food choices. Worst qdoba I've been too, at least the girl that made my burrito. She had a bad attitude and I asked for a little guacamole and she put a mountain, I asked for light sour cream and she put a shit load, I then asked for a little cheese and she put waaaaaaaay too much. Lacks flavor and is about as authentic as taco bell. If you know what your getting I'm sure it isn't as much of a disappointment but calling this Mexican is a wrong and even comparing it to chipotle is misleading. MEXICAN GUMBO. That is all! The tortilla soup in this dish is so delicious and I've never had a better one. Gumbo all the way! And I love their queso sauce! Only thing I don't like is how the people rush you through your order, even when it's not crowded. They ran out of brown rice so I waited with my 2 kids in a 10 minute wait until it came out, during which the worker, who I believe may be a manager, complained about needing to call the owner to have them come in and clean the dishes because "it's not my job". Fantastic food at an entirely fair price. Everything is prepared right before you and in some cases, is cooked fresh right before your eyes, such as the fajita veggies. Not only is the food delicious, it also comes in some enormous portion sizes. Believe me when I say that a Qdoba burrito will keep you full for a LONG time.
