NASTY. Don't expect things like guacamole, vegetables, or tea if you go to this location. Also, don't expect a clean restaurant. And you might be thinking well they were probably very busy. Nope. Two other customers there. Apparently the five employees that were present can't fix tea, vegetables, wipe down the table, or go buy some avocados. My favorite part is what I was told when paying... to choose the amount of tip I wanted to give them. Can't stop laughing about this. Then when handing me a receipt, I was told by the cashier that if, and only if, I gave them a five star review, I would get free chips and queso at my next visit. After picking up a baby shower gift at a nearby store we walked in, bypassing a line of about 6 people and picked up our order at the cashier station. Long story short, I gave up Chipotle for Lent so when I needed to get my fix, I decided to try Qdoba instead. This location is conveniently located in the Hamburg shopping center, next to Cold Stone. Parking is easy and plentiful. I decided on the Chicken Burrito Bowl. They also offer Burritos, Quesadillas, Soup, etc. My bowl was comprised of white rice, black beans, chicken, veggies, salsa verde and shredded cheese. The flavor of the rice was interesting, as if it didn't have seasoning. The chicken was okay, but again, it didn't taste like it had any seasoning. Basically nothing did, which made the meal bland. I should have added queso to help add flavor. The employees at this location were very nice. They were quick and efficient. They also made sure everything on the bar was fresh, which is always wonderful. The restaurant was clean and there was plenty of seating available. Overall, my experience wasn't terrible, but the blandness of the food may prevent me from coming back here. I'll just hold out for Easter when I can have my Chipotle again. read more

Arrived at the Qdoba Hamburg location in Lexington on a Tuesday at 11:45 AM, well ahead of an expected lunch crowd. The order taker/meal preparer was rude, never making eye contact, or speaking directly to me, and the serving area he was overseeing was ransacked. Over half of the traditionally offered items I requested were not available, including grilled veggies or lettuce, so I was required to compromise my selections from lack of availability. Their rewards scanner wouldn't read my loyalty card, and I was informed it's broken. The checkout cashier overcharged me, which prompted a dispute to clarify that I didn't request, nor receive a $3 bottle of water, and only two of the vacant dining room tables were clean. I attempted to fill my beverage glass with iced tea, but both dispensers were empty, forcing me to choose a soft drink I didn't want. The meal was luke warm and tasteless, and upon visiting the restroom to wash my hands before departure, the area was filthy, with both the commode and urinal unflushed, smelly urine puddles on the tile floor, soap dispenser was empty, and the trash can overflowing with used paper towels. All this prior to lunchtime, so it's obvious the staff did little to prepare the restaurant for customers. This was a terrible overall experience, and should be disappointing for Qdoba. read more

I haven't been to Qdoba in a long time but wanted something quick and was nearby. The food hasn't changed a bit and is decent for a quick bowl or burrito. I don't often eat chain fast food so not sure if it's fast food in general, or just this location but the employees put forth zero effort in customer service. Not sure what has happened to this place. I realize times are tough for restaurants but this is the third straight time of failure. They are consistently out of basic items. No shells for taco salads. Meats are randomly out. No fajita vegetables. Seriously, if you are about out start more. Don't wait till you are completely out. The employees at this location are in desperate need of training, specifically around the rewards program and app payments. The drink options for kids' meals are far too limited -- it's either milk or juice (not even a water option) -- which sucks if your kid is lactose intolerant and has refused juice since they were a toddler. They will not let you upgrade to a fountain drink or anything. And in the course of finding that out, they are rude and dismissive of your dissatisfaction. I would give no stars. I'm not sure where to start, even the people working there didn't want to be there. The manager tells me there's no chicken, veggies, or cilantro.... My oldest is starved so I agree to figure out a meal.... The manager didn't listen to light rice she's slapping everything on there like even she didn't want to be at work. The presentation of the condiments she's reaching for looks as if every other condiment has fallen into them. It's unappetizing an everything I would normally have on my taco they don't have. I manage to get to the register an I had to ask for a credit! As a manager who can't offer good service you didn't care if your customers ever came back because you yourself don't want to be there I mean people look forward to spending money on the food they put in their bodies. For a "sit down, fast food" place, Qdoba is excellent!! I love it!! This location is a great one and the people have been nice each time I go. I've been here to eat several times and this has been the worst experience at this QDoba to date. First, I was approached by a woman asking for money outside before I even made it to the door (ok, I know this is not QDoba's fault). We went to eat around 9pm on a Monday (they close at 10pm). I ordered a Veggie quesadilla and she offered pico and corn as the vegetables. As they were about out of the grilled vegetables I had to ask for them to be made as it did not appear she was going to offer. The worker clearly was not happy to be there. She didn't make sure that I had requested all the items I wanted on the quesadilla before folding it and putting it on the grill. We then asked for guacamole, although I felt like it was a major imposition, and she was slamming down the containers on the counter (maybe to level out the guacamole in the containers if I was to give her the benefit of the doubt) . Poor service. 3 people walked out due to no one at counter to take orders while one employee was standing off to side drinking a soda and just looking at everyone in line. She should have notified other employees of the line. Then when the employees came to counter they were slow and not polite at all. We interrupted their social time. Friendly service. Rice and beans had zero seasoning. Guacamole tasted like it had gone bad. I mentioned this and asked for guacamole from a different batch. What they gave me had brown spots in it and tasted just as bad. I told staff. They told me the color had changed because of oxidation. I replied I eat guacamole almost daily and never had one taste that bad. They brushed me off. The employees looked a bit bored, but they perked up and were very informative when I asked if there was a rewards program. I like how simple it is as being a simple person and just how you can pick what you want on your burrito or taco. I like the machine for fountain sodas because you can pretty much pick anything out there that you want a soda since the Coke machine has different flavors and everything in it. I like how they've taken the concept of a burrito and made it into something simple or just something you can go sit down and not feel like you're being rushed to get out and enjoy your food and just the company of others. Fast, healthy, inexpensive & fresh, not normally words that you will find describing a chain restaurant. I normally avoid chains at all costs, but this is one that I truly love. I always forego the tortilla & rice for a bowl of beans chicken & the fresh veggies. Ask for cilantro and they will get it for you, but you have to ask. It's not kept up front with the normal options. If you want to be less healthy than you can ask for chips with any meal, but again you have to ask. They have one of those hundreds of combinations of soda machines, as well. read more

Craft 2 Mexican Gumbo and 2 tacos (grilled chicken) is my favorite! The guac is totally worth the extra charge! Don't forget to get an order of chips and queso:) yum! read more
