My boyfriend & I have been going to this location for a few months now. It's since gone downhill. We tried to stop in & grab food but they were only accepting online orders. We were really hungry so we decided to go somewhere else. Fast forward to tonight, we got food delivered via DoorDash. I ordered 3 salsas on my burrito bowl and only received 1, the corn. So basically there was no actual salsa on my bowl. Luckily, I had ordered an extra 4oz salsa on the side. The bowl was also mostly rice! They no longer offer the brown rice option & I'm not a fan of their cilantro lime rice. We got 2 orders of chips & queso and both the chips were ridiculously salty. I'm sensitive to salt but my boyfriend isn't and even he said they were extremely salty. Next time, we'll just go to Chipotle to get the quality of food that we pay for. read more

This location's hours keep changing because they are not willing to pay enough to fully staff it. Showed up multiple times for lunch and they were either not open yet or they would not accept in person orders, just online. Last time I arrived at 11:30am and found out that they had changed hours to open at noon without notice. Multiple employees were there and just hanging around outside the building and instead of telling people as they drove up they were closed, they let folks get parked and walk up to the building only to see a small sign that showed hours changed. Overall this location is very poorly run. The owner should be held accountable for the poor working conditions for the employees (not enough employees forcing those who are working to be stressed out), lack of enforcement of health code rules (wearing masks properly), and lack of cleanliness (clumps of dust hanging from lamps above food preparation area). Qdoba corporate needs to step in and fix this. read more

Ordered through Grubhub and they prepared and let my order sit there for 2 hours. The driver when she dropped it off even said "hey I would call and complain. A vast improvement over the Flint Township location! This particular location restored my faith in the Qdoba brand. I fear that I had lost all hope when it came to Qdoba after my experiences with the Flint store, but I can say that I'm a Qdoba fan once again- if only of this particular location! Great service, clean restaurant, fresh ingredients. We had a huge portion of vegetarian nachos and they were delicious, loaded with fresh veggies, cheese, black beans, spicy queso, and guacamole. Try getting them to give you anything other than a tiny dollop of guacamole at the Flint Qdoba! When we mentioned how lousy the Flint Township franchise was, everyone working behind the counter groaned and chimed in with, "Yeah, we hear that all the time, they suck." And unlike the Flint location, they don't stint on the toppings! Service was both fast and friendly as well. Since we don't have a Chipotle yet in the area, Qdoba is our option for "fast casual" Mexican dining. Previous review highlighted a bad takeout experience. Corporate did a great job reaching out and providing a refund. Tonight we tried their updated Curbside service. Worked to perfection. Placed our order with a pickup time. Received a text message with instructions. Arrived at our assigned time and text the store. Promptly received a response the order would be out ASAP. I was hungry one late afternoon and didn't want to travel too far. Since I'm always down for a burrito and Husband and I were in the vicinity, we decided to stop here. He had been to a Qdoba before, and said that it was comparable to Chipotle. That's the key word: comparable, but not as good. Well, I didn't think it was that bad, but the rice was completely overcooked and instead of being soft and flaky and being separate grains, it was all mushed together because the guy who was preparing it poured WAY TOO MUCH broth. I saw it myself, and I looked over to Husband and mentioned it to him, and he said he saw it too. We were hoping that it wasn't going to be in our burritos. Boy, were we wrong! The actual meat (grilled chicken in this case) was cooked pretty well, though too salty. The salsa wasn't bad, but it was a little flat. I liked the fact that there were bits of fresh cilantro in it and it was fragrant, but that was about it that made it special. The beans were so-so. Too soft and lacked any special flavor. The ladies that were preparing our food were messy and not very efficient, unlike the people at Chipotle. The counters were not well kept and they didn't seem to care about the quality and presentation of the food. Overall, I am not going back because for the price you pay, you're way better off going to Chipotle for their fresh, quality ingredients, the staff is fast, friendly, and efficient, and their rice is never mush. This Grand Blanc store is filthy!! It is not a Covid thing because it's been dirty for years. It has progressively gotten worse. I went the other day and once I got inside, I actually turned around and left. I was that disgusted. The two sets of glass doors are always filthy. The space in between the two doors had large balls of dust, hair etc laying around. As I walked into the store , straight ahead under the soda station was garbage and thick dirt and dust. I understand prices are up everywhere and it's difficult to find employees. However, the last two times I was in there, it has gone downhill big time. A few weeks ago, I was in there at 11:00 am and the floors were filthy. The vestibule had trash and leaves in it. That didn't happen in a half an hour. It was clearly from at least the previous day. Yesterday, I had to wait about 8 minutes for rice to come out of the back and noticed how messy and not cleaned up the food area was. This was at 3:00pm, not prime lunch rush. The food is typically good. I have managed to always arrive during the time they are swapping out trays. I'm typically hesitant to eat food under a heat lamp but again I've been lucky. When I say I am LIVID and HANGRY that is a understatement!!! I drove to Qdoba Grand Blanc from Burton which is a 15 min drive through all the traffic on my lunch, to wait in line for 20 minutes, completed my order (I ordered a mini bowl with chicken) I get back to work, walk through the door and my bowl falls out right through the bottom of the bag!!! I take a picture of the thin bag and my entire bowl on the floor! Call and speak with an employee who remembered me once I started telling her my order, she wrote down everything I told her that was on my mini bowl and told me I could come and pick it up at the counter. I clock back out of work to drive back through the heavy traffic, grab my bowl which is now in a plastic bag. (FYI, ALL FOOD SHOULD BE IN A PLASTIC BAG BECAUSE IT CAN GET REALLY HEAVY!! THE ONLY THING SHOULD BE IN A BAG IS CHIPS!!) Get back to room, and begin rooming my patients because now I'm late to work! Finally get a break to eat my bowl, I go in the breakroom, open my bowl and would you believe, NO CHICKEN IS IN MY BOWL!!!!!!! At this point I have a major headache!! Soooo my mom went to complain to the "manager" (a brunette woman with glasses) of the Grand Blanc, Michigan store. The store told us they didn't close till 6:00pm but in the middle of eating we were told to leave at 4:30. They also said the corporate is the reason they don't tell people when they are out of ingredients for recipes and they don't offer substitutes. After my mom calmly and respectfully explained this the manager started arguing with her toe to toe and then commanded she leave immediately or she would call the police. Ok, I would give a little better review if I hadn't experienced what I experienced last night. We come to this Qudoba ALL the time, most of the time it is a good experience. However the trashcans are ALWAYS full, and it is pretty messy in there sometimes. Back to what happened last night: We are about to walk in, it is 10:30 at night. They close at 11. As we walk up to the door we see a sign posted informing us that they are out of chips?!?! I mean really, a Mexican restaurant....out of chips. We go inside anyways. When we get up to the counter, we find out that they do not have black beans either. We get pinto beans...ew. The guy that checked us out was not very friendly at all. Minimal conversation at best. We sit down and begin to eat. (That was the worst meal I have ever has at Qudoba. Very bland.) At 11 we are finishing up our meal. The lights start turning off....WHILE we are still eating. I look at the clock, it's 11:01. I mean seriously?!?! They turned the lights off on us!!! My uncle got up and took some pictures of us eating in a PUBLIC place in the dark. Yes, I understand. You closed at 11, let us finish up and throw our trash away. We will get out of your hands. But they still had cleaning up to do, so we were definitely going to be out of their way by the time they would be done. So, after the guy (that checked us out) turned the lights off on us he comes back there and tell us, "Just to let you know we are closed now." At this point we are ticked. My uncle says, "Really, I thought there was a power outage. Just to let you know your rudeness has been noticed and the manager and owner of this place will be hearing about this." The manager of that Qudoba happens to live in Lapeer, where I live. My mom ran into her the other day. Once my uncle informed the man that the manager would be hearing about this, his eyes got super big, he walked back over, turned on the lights, and disappeared into the back. First off, there is something about being called "hun" that makes me feel all warm inside. The staff ladies were very friendly and very lighthearted. I have a big family so I had to make a big order and, without asking, they grabbed the food themselves and delivered it straight to my table. You can watch them prepare your food through the glass and all of the prices are pretty reasonable. We were put off by the lack of sugar in the tea but remembered that we live up north now.
