What made me want to puke though.. was the fact that when the sandwiches were wrong with cheese, etc. I brought them in to let them know.. when handing the sandwich to the worker.. she dropped them on the tile floor. The sandwich was open and had been IN my car..: in my possession.. she then handed them to manager and explained I needed new sandwiches.. manager rewrapped it and place it back into the serving area. I saw this and spoke up and said that they had fallen on the ground and that once food is given to a customer.. and in their possession it's not safe nor sanitary to re give that to someone else!!! I couldn't believe this.. I hope this isn't a practice that happens often. I'm not from this town.. but I was disgusted by this. . I pray no one is eating food that's been given to someone else or worse being dropped on the floor. I think sanitary food practices needs to be revisited in a training here.

The food was fresh, hot, and prepared just the way it should be. Nothing over-the-top--just a solid, well-made Wendy's meal. What really made this visit stand out was one employee, Jene. The Barq's Root Beer on the self-serve machine wasn't working, so she immediately offered to get me one from the drive-thru fountain without hesitation. Then, after I sat down with my granddaughter Victoria while my daughter Alex stepped outside to grab her own meal from another restaurant, Jene noticed I was keeping an eye on Victoria. Rather than calling my number and making me come to the counter, she personally brought my meal to the table and said she knew I was watching my granddaughter. That simple act of kindness was completely unexpected and appreciated. It's the kind of customer service that people remember. One observation for management: Jene was also the only employee I saw who consistently had a smile on her face. Everyone else seemed like they were just getting through the day. A smile doesn't cost anything, but it certainly changes the atmosphere for customers. Thank you, Jene, for going above and beyond. You represented Wendy's very well.
