I purchased a new QCA Gemeni hot tub November 2024. Huff Pool and Spa has been horrible with customer service. I had a Jet controller that came loose and they blamed us for over turning the jet. This jet was not sealed and glued to the tub like the rest of the jet controls. Then Huff Pool and Spa charged me a service charge or a Jet control that has not been properly installed. I called the company and they told me that since I purchased a new winter cover for the hot tub I voided warranty. What does a cover have to do with a Jet? Both Huff Pool and Spa and QCA will do anything to say you voided warranty. Run far away from this spa company. Buy a Jacuzzi Brand, totally worth the money. read more

My family has owned hot tubs 30+ years. We've always taken very good care of the spas, which have each lasted 15-20 years. Between 2017 and 2019, my parents, my neighbors, and myself all bought the exact same 2 person hot tub from QCA, and all 3 of us have had problems despite taking very good care of our hot tubs. We each spent nearly $3k each on the hot tub. Both my parents and I had to replace our hot tub covers after just 2 years because they were disintegrating. By 2021, the circuit board on our friend's hot tub stopped working - they spent nearly $1k to repair and replace it. Just 4 years into owning our hot tub, the entire wood base of our hot tub crumbled and has literally fallen apart - the hot tub is totally unstable and unusable. We checked the wood base of my parent's hot tub & they are having the same problem with a rotting wood base. When we contacted QCA, we learned the wood used to build the base IS NOT pressure treated at all. QCA customer service has been non-existent. The purchasing manager (initials are RM) is extremely difficult to get ahold of. After 2 months, he finally offered me a measly $150 to repair 1 hot tub, even though it will cost roughly $1k (labor & materials) to hire someone to rebuild a new base. The manager has stopped returning emails and he has never returned a phone call. I have asked multiple times to speak with the owner of the company and have never heard from him or her either. We have not been able to use our hot tub since January 2023 and it is now almost May - still no resolution or response from the company. I would strongly recommend that you NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY - they have at least 2 formal complaints and 1 poor review with the BBB. Based on these other complaints, I know QCA will reply and say that some of my info is false, that I did not take care of my hot tub correctly, and they will "defend" their side of the story, etc. The bottom line is that QCA is not held accountable & does not take responsibility for poor quality products (ex - wood for a hot tub is not pressure treated, which seems like hot tub 101) or for their extremely poor customer service. read more

We have had nothing but a positive experience with QCA pools and spas. I'm honestly shocked by all of the negative reviews. Jim always answers our phone calls and texts promptly. Anytime we've had an issue with our pool they have been out that day or next. I would recommend them to anyone putting in a pool! read more

Beyond disappointed. Ordered a very generic looking pool in early April. We settled for one they claimed to have in stock to facilitate prompt installation. Three months, phone calls always going to voice mail, and countless excuses later, we still have no pool. We were "the next one on the list" each week. Honestly, and maybe ironically, their excuses just don't hold water. The weather isn't always bad and COVID shouldn't have any impact of material you claim to already have in stock. A personable salesperson is very important but a business reputation is built on reliability. They did refund the deposit. I guess that's worth 1 star. We purchased our Spa from QCA Pools & Spas about 4 years ago and have been happy with them from the start. From the first time meeting Jim and working with him to custom order our Spa, to the install, to all follow up questions we've had since. We have yet to have a bad experience whatsoever. Early on when we received our Spa, we had an issue with one of our control panels. A service tech was sent out and the faulty item was replaced free of charge. There was also an issue with our access panel, as well as a couple of side panels, both of which were replaced at no charge. We did not expect nor ask anything, this was just the level of customer service they provided. Any time we've gone in to speak someone, the staff has all been extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They always take the time to go through any questions or concerns we may have, not to mention encourage bringing in water samples to better address problems we might be having. I would most definitely recommend QCA Pools and Spas!! read more

I feel the employee representatives give incredibly poor service. 1. I ordered parts, but the wrong parts were sent. Rob (tech support) said staff pulled the wrong parts from stock. 2. The correct parts were re-sent, but this time the wrong quantity. 3. During the next week, I left 3 voice mail messages on Rob's phone, and left 2 personal messages with the company operator, but no response from Rob. The company operator told me that the staff is being over-worked resultant of a 500% increased in order volume. I even sent an email to the company president, Keith Hall, but he ignored it. The corporate attitude shows lack of interest and customer care on all levels. In my opinion, this is not the type of customer experience a responsible company would wish to promulgate: that of making multiple order errors, carelessness, ignoring the customer, poor communications, and being overworked by management. The spa business is extremely competitive and their are several other companies out there that wish to earn your business...but NOT QCA SPA. read more

I would stay away from this place at all costs. Made an appointment 2 1/2 weeks ago to get my pool winterized and was told I would be one of the first pools done this morning. It is 5 pm and still no sign of anybody....no call no nothing. This is the second year in a row that they have done this to me. 2 years ago I spoke with someone about buying a new pump and filter to the tune of 750 dollars...they never even returned my calls so I could tell them to go ahead and bring it over and hook it up. If you are thinking about a pool, DO NOT EVEN CONTACT this place! We started with them in February, put $500 to be on the "list!" Months went by and not contact at all. Jim ignored all emails, phone calls, and messages from when I stopped by! Truly unprofessional for sure. We were told in the beginning May-June at the worst! Finally, around the first of July, my wife said, what if we email them and say cancel it! We did. The next day I stopped by and behold, he had THAT email and said they would give our $500 back. No try to save the sale at all. They never ever expected to do a pool for us! We have found another really good pool installer, but as you can imagine he is busy. It will be in August before we get a pool, all because QCA Pools and Spas are liars and truly unethical! Whatever you do..do not even think about talking to them! They are a scam from the owner on down. Ruined our whole summer. If you want someone honest and really good, call Countryside Pool in Geneseo, He is as honest as QCA Pools is crooked! Again do not ever consider QCA Pools and never let a friend or enemy do it either! As the one review says AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS AND TELL EVERYONE ELSE THE SAME! Purchased both spa and pool through QCA and have had concerns with both. Once they have your $ you can expect no assistance for problems that arise unless company sees opportunity for more $ in their pocket. BBB is our next step.
