The nurse called me back about10 minutes later and performed the normal procedures, weighing, height, blood oxygen levels, etc... Dr. Wang came in about 5 minutes later. He is a friendly man and wants to hear about your health, history and lifestyle. I never felt rushed and he was easy to talk to. He explained his methods of care, his rating on what you are doing now, and any changes of action that is easy to understand. He said he wanted lab work and it could be performed on site! Wow! No fasting, no going to some lab, no waiting! The whole appointment was just over an hour and I'm done! The next day I received an email with my lab results and what he want to tweak! That was so quick! I am very impressed with the entire practice from the ample parking, and friendly staff, to the attentive nurses and doctors to the painless quick lab facilities. She is a mother, a doctor that is genuine, straight forward and goes above and beyond her call of duty. That's a rare find, nowadays. Historically, the doctors I have encountered have been abrupt, short and recommend unnecessary tests or what not. Dr. Gooden does not do this. Ever. Her Assistant Shanna, is also amazing. I missed one appointment. One. If I miss work to go to the doctor's office, I lose my insurance. I actually was really sick about a month ago and decided I needed to go to the doctor. Took a chance and went in first thing in the morning knowing I would be sitting around for hours if they could even see me. Was quite surprised when I was seen within the hour I arrived. It's a large practice with many doctors and they have their own lab and x-ray unit, both of which I was sent to. Turns out I had pneumonia. They have a patient portal too that you can sign up for to email the office and make an appointment, get rx, refills, etc. I highly recommend Dr. Golding and the Chattanooga Family Practice.

This man was so amazign that I'd come back just to see him! I had an allergic reaction that required immediate attention. This had never happened to me before, so I was lost. I absolutely did not want to go to the ER, and this office was able to get me in right away. But more importantly, Dr. Hollie didn't just shove benedryl at me and send me away.
