I highly HIIIIGHLY recommend BATA to anyone interested in and serious about EMS. Took an 8-week…read morecourse, and it was a blast. Scottie Johnson is a fantastic instructor. I cannot stress how chill and nice he was. The course was taking a toll on my physical and mental health, but Scottie's cheerful optimism kept me going. He truly embodies positive energy and makes lectures so much more bearable. His storytelling and advice were very eye-opening as well. I regret not approaching him for help more often. However, unsurprisingly, it's very rigorous. For anyone looking at an 8-week course, you will spend 20 hours a week: 10 hours on lectures (MW or TTh; 5 hours each) and 10 on skills (Sunday); of course, with breaks in between. Lectures will cover 6 chapters per week, and you will take lecture exams every weekend on the day of your skills instruction. You should be able to dedicate a huge amount of time to reading through the course material (at least 20 hours imo). So please reconsider your decision if you're planning to work or study full-time during the course. Otherwise, give it a shot! Be cool and professional, and most important of all, make sure you have a great time. I promise you, it'll be worth it.

I just completed the 7.5-week expedited course, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. First and foremost, know this: it's a fast-paced, demanding course, and success requires putting in the work. But if you're serious about learning, BATA provides everything you need to excel--exceptional instructors, hands-on training, and a structured approach that sets you up for real-world success. Scottie, the lead instructor, is one of the best teachers I've ever had. He's knowledgeable, engaging, and has a great balance of keeping the class fun while knowing when to get serious. He truly cares about his students and their success. BATA also brings in a fantastic team of instructors--shoutout to Kyle, Justin, Nadeline, Eric, and Tony--each of whom adds their own expertise and teaching style. With so many instructors, the course feels personal rather than overwhelming, ensuring plenty of one-on-one guidance and hands-on practice. From day one, you can tell that BATA is well-organized and genuinely committed to training top-tier EMTs. They focus on real-world scenarios and practical skills, not just textbook knowledge, which makes a huge difference when preparing for the field. For anyone considering their EMT certification--whether your goal is becoming a first responder or using it as a stepping stone for another route like medical school--you will be in great hands at BATA.

My bff took the evening class and he shared his experience but I kept procrastinating. Finally my sister and bae pushed me to my limit because I've got nothing to lose. My employer will reimburse me a certain amount back for the tuition which I could not pass up. Second, having an additional cert will open up more doors in the medical field for me. As much as I hate blood, I stick children and teens every day. Lol... I chose the weekend class which is 5 Saturdays from 8am to 4:30 pm. Just remember you aren't too old to go back to school to make that dream of yours come true. My first day was absolute amazing. Our teacher was amazing. Her name is Lindsey Kline and she is full of positive real spirit, humor, honesty and direct. Lindsey works at a prison and her skin is thick. She is there for you every step of the way. Lindsey provides the guidance and support during Q&A and your blood draws. She's very responsive. I've completed my class yesterday and I know I will miss attending class. We had an awesome group of people that were always joking around, laughing and helping each other make our goals. Lindsey makes you feel comfortable and I loved her style of teaching. There aren't no shortcuts. It may seem like a short time of learning to get certified but she had given us all the knowledge we need and carry us through to prep for our NHA exam.

Student services is great and they're fast with their responses and they are very accommodating. I highly recommend this school if you're going into phlebotomy, EMS, PA school, Nursing school or jobs that require this skill. In 5 days I got 65 successful sticks in via straight needles, butterfly needles and capillary punctures! Great program for anyone!

With that in mind, I was presented two options for industry-leading knowledge providers...and I chose Product School. Why? Because from the moment I engaged with the PS team, I was presented with timely, accurate, and relevant information pertaining my anticipated role and how they could assist me in being better prepared. At no point did anyone there "guarantee" me anything - which was much appreciated on my part. The financial admissions process was straightforward through a third-party lender and I was admitted into the upcoming course within a few days. A flurry of emails went out within a few minutes of acceptance and on-boarding was completed digitally in minutes. Now to the important stuff - how was the actual course? In short, it was excellent and far exceeded my expectations. I was fortunate to be surrounded by incredibly capable and engaged fellow learners and led by Rocky Sharma as an instructor. During the five days we covered all of the basic level skills required to understand the PM role and Rocky routinely placed us into learning groups to validate our theoretical concepts. If this were a course that lasted another week, I'd gladly make the time. I feel a lot better prepared now for my upcoming interview as a Product Manager and am looking forward to seeing how and where my new alum network goes in life. It's been a great week and I would recommend this course to a lot of folks considering starting a company, all the way to the potential product manager role!

As much as I am not a fan of Facebook I have to thank them because they showed me and Ad about NexGent's ZTE (Zero to Engineer) program. I started doing research on what a Network Engineer does and realized this was what I wanted to do. I watched an intro video on their website and submitted my info. The next day I received a call from NexGent and spoke with Matt for about an hour and signed up the same day. The program itself is amazing. Jacob and Terry did a great job putting it together. Current student going through the program and may change rating based on ongoing experience…read more I started the program about 2-3 weeks ago, mainly because they recently began offering weekend classes, which worked well for me since I have a demanding full-time job. So far, unfortunately, my experience has not been great. I'm not sure if it's because the hybrid/online model is still new for them, but it really feels like they don't have the process fully organized yet. Most of the issues come down to lack of communication and unclear expectations for online students. Once I paid my deposit, I wasn't really guided through the next steps. I was briefly shown the portal we use for coursework (CIMA) and told to download WhatsApp because that's how we communicate with instructors. Beyond that, I pretty much had to figure things out on my own. I even had to personally ask questions in the group chat because I was confused, and it turned out several other students felt the same way. Eventually we found out there's an orientation every Monday, but nobody clearly explained that upfront. The virtual learning environment has also been frustrating. During online sessions, chats are muted and virtual students can't really ask questions because the instructors are focused on the in-person class. That honestly makes no sense to me considering online students are paying the same tuition as in-person students. It feels like the virtual students are an afterthought. Even submitting homework has been confusing. We use Dropbox, but I was basically just told to "download Dropbox" and had to dig through old chat messages to find the actual submission links and instructions. At this point, I honestly feel unclear every step of the way. I spend more time trying to figure out logistics, apps, links, and expectations than actually focusing on learning. The frustrating part is that these seem like very simple organizational issues that could easily be improved with clearer communication and better onboarding for online students. I'm still early in the program, so I hope things improve over time, and I'm open to updating my review if my experience changes.
