This is the first time I was able to take a course and follow it up with a truly unique boot camp that reinforces the skills, knowledge and processes that you pick up in course lessons, videos and tools. The Cisco packet tracer application was an awesome tool that provided real world capabilities from the Cisco devices that you would add into the packet tracer program. The Cisco routers and switches and other devices worked almost exactly like they would in a real world situation. You would be able to create a network project packet from scratch following the lesson plan that would mimic a true actual network. Jacob was always available to offer any assistance but the lesson modules were always so well conceived that things would just fall in place and match the finished module packet that was available for comparison. The whole course was designed so that you get to learn how to become a full stack network engineer, which means you are able to design a working full stack network with multiple offices/locations for a company, group or yourself from scratch. This means gathering requirements, design the project, creating a SOW, proposal, finishing the project and completing everything in between.
As for the boot camp, it was truly unique and well designed. Yet get to work on real Cisco routers and switches, Cisco phones, and real servers running network applications and services. The boot camp covers a lot of material but relies on the skills learned from the course lessons/modules. The whole concept of how course modules were designed and then followed up by the boot camp was just so new school that you're able to learn so much in such a short period of time. Jacob, Terry and Lovedeep were also able to provide so much encouragement, support and real world relevant advice that it made this whole course and boot camp truly the way to go if you're wanting to get certified as a Full Stack Network Engineer. If you want to learn to become a full stack network engineer using a fast track approach and truly learning, this is the way to go. read more
