Since COVID Mrs. Guy and her team of tutors have not skipped a beat. The kids meet virtually in small groups but each tutor has the time to help the student individually if needed. We greatly appreciate Kumon and all that it has done to help prepare my kids with the adequate skills in math and reading.

I accidentally went the wrong way, but there's no signs or anything painted on the ground to tell me I was going the wrong way. Some other car honked at me, then blamed their horn, and I couldn't reverse down what seem to be the one way road. I really wish they would've painted the road so I would have known ahead of time or at least had signs up letting me know ahead of time it was a one-way. Field is rather nice for football. Granted it's right next to the freeway so I really worry about the children/students exposure to gas and smog pollution. But this particular time we were inside for the wrestling tournament and they had five mats out in their gym. They also had two different Locker room areas for the students and a pretty decent PA system for the announcements. They also had a separate student center area where they were selling food. Everything was hot and fresh and the wrestling tournament went rather fast considering I've been to seven of them, and they all seem to take hours, this one was actually done around 4 PM! We got there at 6:30 AM, so I was really happy. I wasn't there until midnight like I was For the Santa Cruz tournament. Lol.

We notified the office about the incident and there was nothing they could really do but advised us to buy again on whatever leftover yearbooks that they had which were only 10 copies. My child properly lined up to buy a copy when a group of 8th graders came and cut off all the students who waited patiently. One girl even ended up buying 5. They should've limit 1 copy per student. And whoever teacher was in charge at that yearbook sale should've kept an eye on the line. Such a disorganization and disappointment! Also, this school have kids bullying and intimidating other kids. They are given movie time in class, where the kids watch movies/cartoons instead. Some of the teachers tend to give out homework for the sake of giving out homework. Most of the homework is meaningless, time-wasting, with no added value.

So when I learned about Code Ninja, I decided to give it a try. Turns out my daughter loved it.
