I've had 3 tattoos done and 1 tattoo fixed (i got that elsewhere) at this spot. I absolutely love every piece! This is definitely my go-to tattoo shop. The vibe is amazing and all the employees are outstanding at their job. I recommend Sara to anyone I know looking for a tattoo artist. Q's lines are on point in every tattoo. I'm so happy with the work I've gotten so far and excited for my future tattoos from this shop. read more

Q Tattoo - Friday the 13th tattoo - Tattoo Near Me - Huntington Beach, California

Wanted a small minimalistic microscope tattoo and sent multiple photos to Sara to do a custom drawing. It came out beautifully and super quick! This place is super professional, clean, and classy. I hear they have awesome Friday 13th deals too! I was recommended by family who got multiple different types of work done. Great artist and place! read more

unfortunately my tattoo did not come out as expected. walking in we did not really receive great service, but i wasn't really expecting amazing service for a walk in so that was expected. for some reason the artist i had was not able to follow the stencil. for such a small piece, it also took a while and the artist looked like he was struggling. unfortunately i need to find someone to cover it up because i don't trust going here anymore :( the picture to the right is the reference photo read more

Got a tattoo by Thinh and it was such a great experience! He made sure I was comfortable and explained the process to me. I could tell her was very meticulous with his work and I couldn't be happier! Highly recommend him for your next tattoo :) read more

Hands down best artist I've ever seen, Q does amazing work. So far he's done my whole left arm and I refuse to go to any other artist he's absolutely the best. Super relaxing environment everyone is friendly and the music they play in the shop is awesome. Wish it would allow me to rate higher than five stars because Q, his work, and his shop absolutely deserves it. Thank you for all your work I'll definitely be returning read more

I came in excited for my first tattoo, left wondering if they let blindfolded people practice on paying customers. The lines are shaky, the shading looks like someone gave up halfway through, and the whole thing already looks five years old -- and it's only been a week. Super rushed, zero attention to detail, and clearly no pride in the work. I've seen doodles on high school desks that look better than what's permanently on my skin now. Save yourself the regret and find literally anyone else. read more

Great tattoo shop! I got most of my art done by this shop. I have nothing but great things to say about the people working there the vibe of the place and the art work they put out! read more

After calling about a walk in my friend and I were given the go ahead to arrive in about 20min. Upon arrival we received a text saying it would be better for them if we came in at 6pm. We expressed that didn't work for us so they agreed to take us in. When asked what we wanted to get done the three employees seemed to find our simple suggestion humorous. My friend went first and the process got off to a weird start. after finishing the piece on her shoulder we came to find that it looked nothing like the reference. Now we have to look for an alternative coverup. We aren't completely sure the artist who did the tattoo was still an apprentice because that was never disclosed. We understand that sometimes artist have different expertise but the way it looked at the end was as if he freehanded and not followed the stencil. we don't want to call out the shop but for reference please make sure to look into who your artist is and plan with caution. read more

My experience at Q Tattoo HB was great! Q's schedule was completely booked 2 months in advance so that showed me he was good! Fortunately, they accommodated -me with an early appointment before they opened a couple days later! Q did my tattoos, he is definitely an artist! The lines are clean, he was quick and efficient! The pain wasn't bad either, not what I was expecting! Facility was friendly, clean and I highly recommend! I am super picky with anything that goes on my body especially anything permanent! I trusted Q's work and I will be going back for all of my tattoo needs! Great find! I am pleased with his work! I got 3 butterflies representing my kids, roman numerals representing my wedding day and the infiniti cross representing my Lord and Savior! read more

I had a yearning for some ink therapy after having stressful days of home and work. It's been a while since the last tat & I was inspired, eager & excited. Browsing through social media, & here of course, stumbled upon Sara with Q tattoo. I reached out and told her what I wanted and she produced my "vision". Uber excited, we set an appt and basically just rolled with it. I think my hubs was more iffy about this than me. "Are u sure?", "do u need lidocaine?", "are you really gonna do this?" - to that I answered without hesitation- Yes. No. Yes. Let's go. The shop is tucked in the corner of Edinger and Newland. The place is clean and everyone was welcoming and easy to talk to. Sara has this great calm personality. I was very relaxed and reassured that I chose the right person to be sticking ink and poking needles on me. I'm very satisfied with her work & I long to get more done in the future. read more

My friend and I decided to get last minute tattoos here. Overall the experience was decent and the owner was very nice/outgoing. We both had different artists and her tattoo ended up coming out slightly better than mine. There was an issue with the stencil design staying on and the artist kind of had to free hand the tattoo. As seen in the photos attached, my friends (2nd pic attached) lines appear more straight and her moon is more evenly shaped. Still happy with the design but will definitely have to get it retouched a bit. read more

I was grossly overcharged by Sara at this shop She charged me $100 for a one word two inch tattoo Her is faded and uneven. I will have to get it re done She grossly overcharged me. And didn't tell me till after it would cost $100 For a two inch forgiven tattoo. On my wrist She did a entire Rose for someone else and charged them $50. SHADY I won't be returning read more

I got my ass tatted on Friday the 13th for their $40 deal. I don't know the name of the guy that tatted me because his tattoo section doesn't have his instagram up unlike the others. My tattoo seemed rushed and the line work is jagged. Here's a comparison of my reference picture vs. my tattoo. Also would like to add in that even when they say "first come first serve," I saw multiple people being tatted first when they came after me. I waited for about 4 hours. read more

Q Tattoo - tattoo done by Sara - Tattoo Near Me - Huntington Beach, California

I am absolutely amazed with Q Tattoo as a whole, as well as the talent of the artists working in this studio. Family and friends have all had work done by Sara DeLara, and after spending many hours observing the workings of this establishment, I pulled the trigger and got some ink. The shop is always clean and sanitary. The staff is professional, courteous, and I have never experienced or observed any type of attitude that I've seen in other area shops. Sara was phenomenal. She listened to what I wanted, communicated fully to make sure we were on the same page, and was focused on me as a client. Her work itself exceeded anything I had ever expected. She is light handed, and her ability to control the finest lines, becomes more and more evident as the hearing begins. I can't recommend her enough!! read more

Q Tattoo - friday the 13th - Tattoo Near Me - Huntington Beach, California

Definitely coming back for my next one at Q Tattoo! Q for Quality! Because it was Friday the 13th, a lot of people were there, but the receptionist was incredibly nice and made sure that everyone who was there - walk-in or appointment - was being cared for and didn't have to wait for so long. The shop looked clean and the artists consistently cleaned their areas after each person they tattooed. So, onto getting my first tattoo. Nickie, you're amazing! I absolutely love it. She constantly made sure I was satisfied with the placement and the little details on the design. I had a couple questions, of course, and she answered all of them along with any other questions my friends had (who also went to get their tattoos here and loved theirs). It was comforting because she answered so thoroughly! Her technique made it so that it was quick and smooth; it didn't hurt so much because she took little breaks to make sure I was doing okay, which I appreciated. I would definitely go back to her for my next tattoo! read more

This is definitely the place to get your first tattoo! Sara, the tattoo artist, made me comfortable and gave me honest answers to any questions I had about the process!!! She jokes and keeps you distracted by talking to you which is definitely appreciated LOL I love her work, my tattoo is exactly where I wanted and exactly how I wanted it to look like! Definitely will be coming here again! read more

Q Tattoo - Done by Sara - Tattoo Near Me - Huntington Beach, California

My review is a little late, I got my tattoo by Karel Beck about 4-5 months ago but I just wanted t say how much I love it. I came In last minute maybe an hour before they were closed. I didn't even have an appointment and Karel stayed after business hours tattooed me for two hours. Her work was great it was just what I wanted I couldn't ask for it to be any better and she really took her time because I told her how much I love the little details and fine lines. All of the artists there are great I would definitely check them out and they're super friendly. read more

Q took my cousin and I in last night and I'm so grateful he did! It was such a pleasure getting inked by him. His establishment is clean, professional and he really takes his time sterilizing absolutely everything prior to your service which made me feel very safe and secure. His wife and family are amazing, it's just all good vibes in there. They're so fun to be around I was this close to asking if they'd adopt me. Q's hand is so steady and his focus is really unfuckwithable. I will definitely be back for more ink, thank you so much Q and team!! read more

Got a cover up done here by Quan and was recommended by Karel to get some Japanese work done by Q and had a koi fish done on the back of my left arm, Q mostly freehand the koi fish around what was there and improved the koi fish as well made it more traditional and more life like, I was completely impressed with the coloring as well as the cover up he did over the one I had. Q is very detailed and couldn't be more happier with the piece he did, Thanks Q read more

I cannot say enough about Sara!!! She has done four of my tattoos and I just love every single one. She makes sure to take time and make sure you are getting everything you want. She also makes great recommendations and if it's something that is not right or won't work she will tell you!! She is also fun to sit hours with. She checks in several times to make sure you are doing ok (although none my tats have hurt so far). I have sent all my family and friends to her. My husband said he would never get a tattoo, decided at 45, that he had to have Sara tattoo him. It came out amazing! Sara you rock! read more
