My friend is a long time friend of Danny's so when my sister came to visit from back home in New York I knew he was the guy for us to see for matching tattoos. The shop is top notch, clean, spacious and incredibly cool. Danny himself is one of the finest businessmen I have ever met. Seeing him interact with other customers showed why people love him. The way he treated my sister and I was the best. My sister and I both wanted matching tattoos but she wanted a little more added. Me and a friend attended an event at the bar next door when we noticed Danny's shop while we were smoking, we walked in literally 15-25 minutes before he closes which we didn't know. We walked in and just the energy and the character of his place was just immediately unique and positive. We're chatting for a little while when we find out he's just about to close, neither of us knew what we wanted but as a spur of the moment decision we wanted whoever we met to have creative freedom, Danny came up with my eye of RA design which inspired my friend to get an Orphic egg. He was so beyond accommodating and if the quality of the tattoo wasn't enough to show his talent he was engaged in thoughtful conversation with us the entire time, which is hard to do for many. In the end our tattoos were sterilized, treated, wrapped, and ready to go after just 3-4 hrs in the shop (really good time). I had been looking around for a minute for my first professional tattoo, and I decided on Transitions Tattoo based on Danny's Work. I was a bit nervous since the last tat i got from a scratcher was about 10 years ago, but Danny and Lisa were both extremely welcoming. Danny was able to interpret my idea into this master piece. He does like to take his time, but its extremely worth it. He is detailed and adds his own twist to his art. You wont find similar art to his, thats why I really like my fish. This place is not only disgusting and not clean, the tattoos suck. I came here to get a simple sun on my ankle and when it didn't heal correctly I came back to get the lines touched up. When I came in and saw the state of the studio, I should have ran. Cigarette butts and trash everywhere. I thought the tattoo was too simple to mess up but I was wrong. Instead of going over the whole thing, he only went over a couple lines and completely blew out one of the lines. I already hated the tattoo, but I hate it even more. Danny is the man. He did my left arm, full sleeve. We did it multiple sessions. He is extremely detailed and creative. I did 2 portraits and they came out like the photo I showed him. I've come here since it was triton tattoo and the previous owner for all my tattoos, the last time i was in here for a tattoo was about 7yrs ago and it's changed a lot inside, kind of bummed me out. Aesthetically speaking-It used to have super clean shiny floors, artwork all over the walls, now the floor is really dirty now and the walls are pretty bare, the owner lit up a cigarette inside at one point-so not great. He was very friendly though but If i were to have come here as a first timer I'm not sure i would've stayed.... however everyone here over the years has always done great work and I've always been pleased with my tattoos. Jorge helped me this time and he did a great job. He tattoo'd some artwork of my cousin who recently passed and did it exactly how i had wanted. (I wish I had a refund because her name is completely tarnished) I went in about last year to get my grandmothers name tattooed. First of all the artist took so long to even prepare the stencil and his work station due to him being distracted and not paying attention to his work. The end result was horrible. The lines were completely wiggly. I had to keep pointing out how uneven it was and he kept going over it making the lines 3 times thicker than it should've beenNothing about the lines were smooth and the lettering is so thick it looked like a child drew on me with a marker. I felt as if he tarnished my grandmothers name and I'm very dissatisfied, horribly upset, and over all disappointed with his work. I will never again come here. **** STAPH INFECTED TATTOO!! I came in to this shop with my sister who wanted a tattoo from Danny. We've heard awesome things about him and his amazing art work. A mutual colleague from the hospital I work at recommended him. I have to say, that establishment is a complete mess. I told my sister this may not be the best place to get a tattoo because it did not look sanitary, she insisted. There was people in there smoking, drinking. I saw what looked like a needle used for drugs laying on one of the tables in the back. The characters walking in and out looked high on drugs and didn't look like they had a reason to be there either which was very odd to me. We waited for Danny, the artist for 4 hours until he showed up. As my sister got her tattoo, the artist looked like he was half way falling asleep. I don't know if he was on drugs or what the deal was, but the artist could not stay awake. To make a very long story short. DO NOT GO HERE FOR A TATTOO. MY SISTER ENDED UP GETTING SOMETHING CALLED STAPH INFECTION from her tattoo from this man. Please stay away. read more

Each tattoo artist has there own specialty but they can basically work on anything. If they don't seem comfortable doing a certain piece they will let you know and direct you to the artist that is best qualified to work on you. My dude is Eli, I've been going to him before he started working there so that's why i stick with him. The Place itself is extremely clean and very well decorated with some sick ass art work. They have a large flat screen and they are usually playing some bad ass Japanese Kung Fu movies. The place is also conveniently located right next to a sports bar so if your buddies are tired of seeing you squirm like a little girl, they can go there and slam a few. danny tattooed me awhile back. shaky and inconsistent linework. i originally had a stick and poke of a circle which i wanted to remain visible due to sentimentality. he added patchy shading when i said from the start i didnt want any, which made it look lopsided and messy. i have multiple family members who have gotten tattoos from him throughout the years and they all say his work has gone rapidly downhill overtime. as much as i hate to say it because he's a nice dude and even offered me to play his guitar afterwards, but his work is consistently poor. not sure of the other artists in the shop, but i highly encourage anyone considering getting a tat from danny to reconsider. read more

Karel has done two tattoos for me and she's great! I expect she is capable of most anything but I was drawn to her for the way she does "feminine" without "cheesiness" or "comic book, animated like". I have a wrist tattoo of cherry blossoms that Karel did about a year ago and several people have commented on it. "It looks so real...so detailed...etc." Karel does an amazing job of listening to what you have in mind, researching and working on it with you, and tracing it out all the while asking for your input. Not to mention, her technique is so freaking awesome. I've been going here for a year. Honestly, every time I go expecting to get something done i end up getting told to call or come back another time. Even with an appointment the artists are a little iffy. Don't get me wrong, Felipe has done really good work for me, but at times he was a bit inappropriate. Carol is not very punctual.. She was late showing up for a piercing a few years back, and my best friend and I waited half an hour for her a month ago before deciding to go somewhere else. I've also seen her show up late to some of her other appointments. There are always pros and cons to places, but I mean if you can handle feeling uncomfortable or don't mind waiting around for good work, then this place isn't too bad. read more
