The name of the studio is perfect because I literally felt like I was hanging out with family the entire time I was there. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, not like any other shop I've been to. I'm pushing 50, so I've been to quite a few in my lifetime. These artists are so passionate about what they do and it shows in their dedication and willingness to go that extra mile to make sure their customers feel welcome and to make sure that they provide you with exactly what you are looking for in their artwork. Samantha is a new artist there and she is so amazing. She was able to design and execute my vision even better than I had imagined in my head. I'm so in love with my tattoos. She's new to this spot and her work is sick. Her pieces are already better than my previous artist (who had been tattooing for over 20 years). The studio is 2 hours away, but the drive is so worth it. Anyone looking for a great shop with a kick back chill vibe with amazing artists should check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Calvin (sorry if I got your name wrong) was able to help us out. He asked us what we wanted, what kind font, and when he put some stuff together he gave us different size samples. Because he was a new artist (apprentice I believe), I liked how he got other artists to check out his work and listened to things that were pointed out for fill or more ink on our tattoos. He did a great job in our tattoos. My boyfriend and I were happy with the results. This studio had such a chill vibe. I'm giving two stars because truly one of the tattoos I got here was absoloutely amazing, and…read moreeverything I could of dreamed of. But it went south from there. I did need to cancel my original appointment early the morning a day prior due to being ill with GG, and I was informed I would need to place another deposit. I agreed and specifically asked whether that additional deposit would apply toward the tattoo, and I was told that it would. When I arrived for the rescheduled appointment, I was told it did not apply and that this had been communicated via text. After reviewing the messages, I did not see that clarification reflected. I did not argue because I respected her and complied. I also want to note that I was not made aware of any written shop policy regarding deposits in this situation. Based on the wording of the conversation, it came across that the additional deposit was for accountability due to the late cancellation, rather than that the original deposit would no longer count toward the tattoo. It's also worth mentioning that policy isn't anywhere nor was communicated to me. During the session, the artist stopped partway through because she wasn't feeling well, which I completely understand and respect. However, once the tattoo healed (it has now been over a month), I noticed visible shakiness in the linework, inconsistent line weight, and areas of blowout that were not apparent initially. I want to be clear that I genuinely love the tattoo concept itself, my concern is specifically with the execution. I paid a significant amount for the piece, and while I am not seeking a refund, as nice as that'd be, I was disappointed by the technical quality of the finished linework. Especially receiving a tattoo from this artist before and it being absoloutely amazing. So trust was broken there as well. As it healed I didn't really notice at first how poorly done it was. So later, when I reached out to book my next tattoo, I did not receive a response and noticed I was blocked from viewing the artist's stories, which made the lack of communication feel exclusionary and unprofessional. My intention in this review isn't to place blame, but to ask for acknowledgment. I value transparency, especially with permanent work. I paid quite a bit for very very poorly done healed work. It ended up being over $250+.

What I went off of per screenshots below, was that You said you would send something over before our appointment, and you did not until I kept asking for it. If you had said you didn't feel comfortable sending a draft beforehand, I wouldn't have committed. Every tattoo artist I've spoken with after said you lacked professionalism and shouldn't have promised me a mock up if you weren't going to do it. Lastly, please stop bringing up my daughter's story to justify your actions. How dare you disrespect us and my ask a year ago and a year later now, for such an important piece and have the audacity to come at me like I was in the wrong for expecting professionalism and execution and was treated with lack of integrity and honesty. I let you refund the half of my deposit because my sister in law didn't make it and that was integrity on my part for your crappy service. We wouldn't have booked you altogether had we known you didn't keep your words! You can keep changing your comment to defend your story but I have the screenshots as proof of your lack of professionalism. I am not the one who keeps messaging - clearly a year later you're still bothered and wasting both our times. I pray this is the last time I need to hear from you for both our growth and peace. May we both learn and move on.
