As she (Cherry) begins to file, I told her I wanted to keep the almond shaped, and simply got a "yes". By the time she filed two fingers, I told her she was making them too pointy like stiletto, again the response was "yes". Left hand is now done, with very little nail left and they are to a point. I again mention, they are too pointy, and said let's just cut what's left off and make them short in which she replied "no". She begins with the right hand, filing them exactly the same. At this point I make her stop, she asked for another nail technician who spoke English better to come over to see what I wanted. His response, " is do you want them rounder?" at this point I asked if they have nail clippers, so I can cut my nails myself. ‍ So I left the nail salon with short nails and no design. Update: the Manager reached out and offered to redo my nails. She did a great job and they looked much better for New Years! Thanks!

From an HR perspective he should have been dismissed. He was saying you won't be here long and you don't know what you're doing, just sit down. But yelling and in a demeaning tone. Honestly, after being stuck there for 3 hours and me constantly reassuring his staff member they were doing good because it was the lack of communication and leadership from the owner. I actually wanted to leave but didn't because myself and another guest were standing up for his staff member. He literally belittled her and treated her disgusting. She should file a hostile workplace suite on him. To top it off, our nails were horrible. My girls never want to hurt peoples feelings but I will kindly ask for items to be corrected especially when the total was over $300 My daughter's nails were so bad she cried and begged me not to say anything. They were all filed in different shapes and even the woman who painted the design was clearly in shock with how bad of a job the owner did on them. My second daughter pedicure was a French tip with no pink paint, they still did pink but she said I can deal with it but then her nails literally no words, I did say something like you need to fix these and he said I have another appointment and I can't and there on already so I would have to restart in that moment my daughter cried. I was livid and I said you need to fix them they look horrendous my daughter begged me to leave it, so I did. My 4 year old niece had her toes and fingers painted that's all they charged us $40 are you kidding me mind you we were there for over three hours because they overbooked I'm still upset about our experience and I should have not paid for their services but I did. I went back and forth with the owner for over 35 minutes because and I quote " all prices are different then the price sheet" my niece 14 got mani pedi for $50 nope it was $75 I asked why he said oh cause the person who did her toes cost different, honestly I don't know how this place is in business. It's not clean ( osha) needs to investigate without notice and the disgusting treatment of the employees is a walking law suit for harassment and hostile work environment. What is sad about it his staff won't file because they need a job and he would be the kind of ex boss to give horrible reference feedback and really it's due to the abundance of stress they are working under and if they quit no unemployment so these people are stuck. Absolutely disgusting wish I could give negative stars because I would.

He rushed through it and didn't push back or trim my cuticles. He overlaid the acrylic to my skin and cuticles. Super thick acrylic. Huge chunks left under my nails.. He practically poured the liquid over the acrylic rather than brushing it on not taking proper care to avoid contact with my skin.. I could barely breathe the smell was so strong. He talked me into gel polish for $10 extra but didn't use enough coats to properly cover my nails. Neither service included a leg or arm massage like most salons. The place was filthy. No one sanitized between clients. Towels were not changed for pedicures and they weren't even used on the manicure tables.

In my first review I raved about this salon because of the quality of our cuts and then we had a not so good experience but knowing the owner cares and guarantees to prevent this from happening to anyone else and apologized and gave us our money back and offered to fix it means that she does truly care about her clients. My daughter 12 yrs old and her daddy went and had her cut there and my daughter came home crying because the woman who cut her hair absolutely butchered her hair. It was awful.
