After my first cut and color with Susan, I knew I could quit looking for a stylist. I'd found mine. I recently moved to Kansas City, and have found that finding a new stylist has been the hardest part of the move. Based on a referral, I started out going to one of the best salons in southern Kansas City. I've been nothing but disappointed, here and at several other salons. I wasn't too surprised to have to pay more in the "city", but I'm really surprised that even when I paid 2x for my color, and 50% more for the style, I was getting styles and color that didn't even come close in quality to what I got at Panache. I guess I have difficult hair, with swirls and cow licks in difficult places, and very thick hair. Not to mention the fact that I insist on having a wash and wear style that doesn't require anything more than blow drying with a round brush. Susan was always great to listen to my needs and give me a style that looked great and met my requirements. Every time I go back to Michigan, I call Susan and ask her to do a "hair intervention" to fix the bad cuts I've been getting in Kansas City. I'm moving on to stylist #5 in KC, but I always know that Susan will be there for me when I go back in a few months. I've always felt it wasn't worth it to cut corners with what I spend on my hair. When my hair looks good, I feel good about myself, and project a lot more confidence. That's so important in this job market. My experience in Kansas City has really driven that point home. In the end, I spend more on my hair trying to get a bad cut or bad color fixed than if I spent a little bit more in the first place. When I was in Michigan I always felt that Panache was a good value, a good investment in me. After my experiences here in KC, I am even more certain that Panache is an excellent value, delivering great styles and color at a reasonable price.

I have been…read moregetting Med Spa services since 2012 as I work remotely and spend 8 hours a day in teleconferencing meetings with my coworkers using a high resolution web cam which doesn't tend to be friendly to us older folks :) Being in transition for the last couple of years I have not been able to keep my regular schedule of Med Spa services (chem peels, lasering, botox). In desperation I made an appointment at Q-Essentials with very low expectations given the size of Greenville Tenn. I was wildly off the mark - this place is fantastic! I am very familiar with industry standard and the staff at Q-Essentials follows best practices for the procedures I have had done, which to date has been Xiomen and one Laser session with their Elluminate laser. They are very detail oriented - to a level you will not get in a bigger city, and very professional.I could not be happier with the treatment I have received, and their prices are extremely affordable. In the past I have had a variety of laser treatments including yearly IPL and Fraxel (CO2) which are both expensive and painful.Their Elluminate laser addresses both concerns and addresses vascular concerns and hair removal which makes this a one stop shop. This laser addresses the ambit of concerns in one, one hour session, which greatly reduces the overall cost. this laser is also virtually painless, which if you have ever lived through a Fraxel session without anesthetic is most appreciated. I initially had a tight grip on the cold air that you keep on your skin as you are getting lasered but found the pain so minimal that I had trouble tracking where I was getting lasered and got to a point where I didn't use the cold air. I was able to get my face, neck, and chest completed in four passings of the laser within an hour. In my coastal city this would have been three appointments and roughly $4K. I was able to purchase two sessions with the Elluminate laser for $1900 (35% off for Black Friday) and this will only require two appointments which fits better with my career. The establishment is clean and well decorated. The atmosphere is relaxing and quiet. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I am so happy to find this place as the location couldn't be more convenient and it is so much more comfortable than the places out on the coast that tend to be pretentious and judgemental. I couldn't give Q-Essentials a higher recommendation, they have far exceeded my expectations and I will be a regular at their establishment.

He talked me into gel polish for $10 extra but didn't use enough coats to properly cover my nails. Neither service included a leg or arm massage like most salons. The place was filthy.
