I had not been there for about a month or so. My tech was Donna and she always did a superb job. Today I go in as a walk in looking for Donna. No Donna nor was the little owner I was accustomed to seeing at that front table. I asked this new person at the front nail table about Donna and was told she didn't work there anymore. So I looked round and noticed two or three others were not there. The whole atmosphere was different. Quiet. Normally you would hear talking going on between techs and clients. None of that. That was one of the main reasons I enjoyed going there because English was being spoken and on tv. Not sure what happened. At least two others came by asking for Donna too and chose not to have nails done. Who knows why. I will say though, the nails were done beautifully. Mine were too. I just want to say the nail tech who did my nails was super friendly. However , when I picked my pedicure service I felt pressured to get upgraded, which I ended up doing. I had to request to get my old acrylic soaked off since I wasn't okay with using a new tip and peeling the off. The clipping of my toes was a little rough and he pulled into my nail a few times - honestly it's turned me off wanting a pedicure. Then getting my nails done they were a little rough on the cuticles and nipped them so my fingers are a touch sore today. While I appreciate that they hand painted my French tips I wasn't aware of the added cost. From what I looked at online to the price when I left was a good bit different. I figured I would pay $100-$120. I ended up paying $143 with tip. Like I said they did a good job, but I don't think I'll be back or recommending anyone based on the pricing. read more

2hr wait for no service. We came by as walk ins. We were told they were busy and to please come back in 1-1.5hrs. We went next door to kill time returned after 1.15hrs only to be treated as fresh walk ins we checked in and told her we were returning at her direction earlier but after 45min wait the second time around with not so much as an acknowledgment that we were still waiting while they took new arrivals ahead of us because they had called ahead we decided to leave. read more

2 hours for a basic pedicure even though they were not crowded. Young high school age looking girl who did my pedicure was more concerned with her pants getting wet than getting my pedicure done correctly. I asked for whit tip, the white polish is slanted so bad it looks like a preschooler did it. Young Caucasian looking girl tried to "secretly" video me the whole time but yet was being super obvious. I wasn't going to post a review at first but now I feel like I need to in order to warn others of this place due to the nail problem I have now had for a year. I went here a year ago and they were extremely busy, and they had someone who was likely untrained give me a gel manicure and pedicure. Both came out very chunky and lumpy. I still paid and tipped because it was clear to me they were making someone who wasn't ready do it and I didn't want that girl to get punished for something they made her do. I ended up peeling it off of my nails and leaving it on my toes. After about a month, I removed the toenail Polish and noticed a dark spot under my nail. I figured I had stubbed my toe or something to cause a bruise and didn't worry about it. The spot grew and turns out they had somehow gotten fungus into my nail. I had to go to the doctor because it would not go away with over the counter medicine and to this day I am still on medication for it. My nail weakened and separated from the nail bed as the fungus grew underneath, and today most of it fell off. So I am dealing with this problem because of their unhygienic tools a year after coming here. Buyer beware!!! read more

my nails didn't even last a week. there was left over polish under the acrylics she did. they are so thick and uneven.

Please save your time and money! Go somewhere else! My gel manicure turned into a 2 hour nightmare!! The older women cut my cuticles until I bled and my skin was raw they put uneven layers of get polish everywhere which was too thick and ended up drying over my raw skin then she tried to cut it off until the manager walked by and noticed how bad it was and told me he was sorry and would fix it at this point it had been over a hour and the woman hand grinned my nails to be very thin even when I asked her not to. I told the manager since now my were nails were thin to please do sns manicure since they are healthier for your nails he said okay and proceeded to take off the bubbled uneven gel. I've had sns many times before and the manager seemed as if he has never done it before the later of clear was so thick it spilled over the top and sides and Then proceeded to press it in the powder for several layers that were uneven and deformed this took about 45min and he knew it wasn't looking right as he tried to cut into my cuticles more because the sns was overflowing. He left sns all over my skin and misshaped my nails to some oddly weird round blob. He said don't worry you won't pay. I know Sir... I wasn't going to pay anymore because the service was beyond unsatisfactory and was 2 hours wasted. I would get them fixed somewhere else but my cuticles are raw at the moment. He put oil at the end, took a picture and said what don't you like? I said the paint is stuck on my skin, it's uneven on every nail, the filing and shape isn't square it's not even symmetrical, there's clumps on certain nails. I'll post pictures of the sns I don't have pictures of the first part. Very disappointed. read more

Wouldn't not recommend. Really bad work . Would never come back. They don't know what they are doing and bad service. Will have to go to someone else to fix my nails even thought I ask them to fix them they just made it worst and even hurt my finger. If you're looking for a salon to go to, especially if you're a Florida resident, I advise you to wait until our state reopens these type of businesses. The taller guy in the front was very impatient, hands trembled throughout entire fill-in. I just left 2 hrs ago and I am already lifting. He built the gel acrylic past my cuticle almost to my skin and refused to file it. Instead he jumped out of his seat and went ballistic! Refusing my money and screaming that's the best he could do! Lumps, spaces for water to go under the nail. He didnt even have the proper color gel pink for ombre. Very outdated salon. I paid for my fill and went home to polish my own toes! Too far to travel for poor service and unprofessionalism. read more

This place is terrible since Daniel and Tracy sold it. The new owner does not like people with increased melanin. I would go in for just SNS of my own nails and he would always say he didn't have time. Several times there was literally no one in the salon. This place is awesome. The staff there is so helpful. I walked in and was immediately greeted and they really made me feel comfortable I signed my name and told them what I wanted and the young man named joe came and sat down and started talking to me like he knew me for years (which is amazing) and he started on my solar nails at 5:30 and was done at almost 7:00 and I couldn't be happier with the results I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone..... read more

I am visiting my dad from New Jersey and needed my nails done ASAP. I was a lil skeptical about using a different nail tech, but I had no choice. I went to Q Nails because it was close to my dad's house. To my surprise I was pleased. Not only was it clean, but they had an assortment of colors including gel polishes. I've never had a problem here, the staff is excellent and very friendly they definitely listen to the customer and provide a very satisfactory service. The place is clean and every time I've ever come in I was seated immediately. Most ppl stay clear of nail salons by walmarts but this one is a total exception, and I believe they may be the only salon in Saint Mary's open on Sunday which is a win! read more

This place stays empty for a reason! One of my girlfriends and I went in to get our brows done and my friend got hers done first, they weren't too bad even though I felt like they were asymmetrical. When the lady told me it was my turn, she didn't change out the wax, use a different application stick, and another employee was asleep in her chair, and when she got done with my eyebrows, they weren't even, looked the same, and she didn't edge out/clean up the front end of my eyebrows, and I instantly broke out and it lasted two weeks. I used to go here, and the guy that did my nails was great. Sad to say he left. When I went in about 3 weeks ago, the place was completely empty except for man [who had always been] at the front counter. He attempted to do my nails. It was pretty clear that he wasn't an experienced nail technician, because he was very slow (but not meticulously so.) He had to attempt 3x to get the gel off my nails and finally gave up & [over]used the drimmel tool...to my extreme detriment. He took off layers of my nails and after 3 weeks, they are still peeling and have not healed. read more
