All the plants on the street caught my attention and I'm glad I walked in! This was my first time at a florist and wanted a small bouquet for my girlfriend since she was giving a presentation at a conference. You pay per the flower, but you also get to choose how it's arranged and how short to cut it. They tried to upsell me on getting a large bouquet of 3 hydrangeas and 3 roses but I ended up getting 2 white hydrangeas, a rose and a dahlia. I respect the hustle but had to stay within my budget. The hydrangeas are great because they cost less than a rose but make the bouquet much more voluminous. The whole bouquet cost $20, and they wrapped it in some nice paper for me. The staff were friendly and quick through the whole process of selection, trimming, wrapping, and checking out. I really liked being able to customize the bouquet myself! P.S. I ordered a casket cover two days before the funeral. The flowers weren't delivered until the wake was in progress. No attention to detail and TERRIBLE Customer service. My mother sent me flowers to congratulate me on my new job. The flowers arrived very poorly and look nothing like the picture. They are wilted, nearly dead and have little to no water. When I called customer service I was treated like a number and not even apologized to. They just asked if I wanted a replacement. I opted for a replacement and it is maybe a tad better. Totally ruined the experience and my mother was mortified and saddened to see how they arrived. Edit: Constantine did say he would send yet another arrangement on Friday and told me to call Monday- Called Monday and Constantine told me that he saw my review and I wrote, "nasty," things about him when he tried to help me and opted to tell me my review was wrong because the arrangement on site was wrong and that my mother purchased through Telaflora. (I'm unsure what they has to do with anything because the flowers are indeed lack luster and pretty much dead)! No mention of the fact that he offered to send another arrangement just expressing his anger at the fact that he " tried to help me." 2 arrangements later and still dissapointed! Advice: You are creating moments for people- please rise to the occasion! PROVIDE A GREAT SERVICE-don't reprimand clients because you provide a mediocre product- at best! read more

Very disappointed. Not sure if this is the "norm" for Q Florist (a/k/a Quality Florist) when orders come in from Teleflora but we ordered way in advance two corsages from Teleflora who engaged Q Florist to make up the arrangements. We requested that the corsages for my daughter's prom be delivered on or before 2:00 p.m. which they said no problem for a fee. We gladly paid the fee because we had no time to go to the shop. White roses with pale blue ribbon on one and white roses with pale green ribbon on the other. Besides the fact that it was nearly 3:00 pm and we hadn't receive anything as of yet we called Teleflora who gave us Q Florist name and had us communicate with them directly. We contacted them, they assured us it was on its way. We finally received the two corsages at nearly 3:30 pm to find that they weren't what we ordered. Our order called for 2 White Whisper Wristlet corsages which were supposed to be sweet petite white roses beaded pearl wristlet. We received just a white rubber band for the pearl wrisklet, and they added the ugliest roses which mirrored something out of Jurassic Park flowers. In other words the roses where huge! Not very attractive at all to make matters worse the ribbon was supposed to be pale mint green. What we received was neon green. We were highly upset. The florist made no apologies all they said was that they did not have the wrisklet anymore so they gave us what they had. 1. DO not order from Teleflora they are not screening their vendors properly and 2. They do not stand by their product. They did not arrive on time after we paid extra and finally 3. Not one apology or discount was provided towards our order. Our girls had no choice but to wear them for pictures but immediately took the corsages off. We expected better coming from NYC. Never again to Teleflora and Q Florist or Quality Florist. Poor customer service and poor quality. read more

I found Q florist when I was searching for upper west side florists for our Central Park wedding on 9/26/20. I emailed the shop about a month before and Constantine was very responsive. After asking for a boutonnière and bouquet with white roses and baby's breathe and sending pics, she assured me that we would get our flowers for our big day. The week of the wedding, we realized it might be easier to get the flowers on Friday rather than Saturday morning to avoid running around a lot before the wedding, and they were able to accommodate a last minute switch. Overall, beautiful flowers if you need something in a pinch! I docked a star because we were supposed to get the flowers on Friday at 1. I called around 12:30 to see if we could get the flowers before 1, and the person I spoke to said yes, that the flowers were ready. We got to the shop and the person working said the flowers weren't ready and to come back at 1. Not sure what led to the miscommunication, but that was minor in the grand scheme of things. read more

Extremely disappointed. My mother ordered me flowers for my birthday through Telefora and they, I'm assuming, contracted out to this florist. First off, they "hand-delivered" the bouquet to my apartment. Except I wasn't home and when I got home, they were no where to be found. When I called Telefora's customer service they couldn't even tell me where or to whom they delivered them. Thankfully, they offered to redeliver them to my office the next day. HOWEVER, the bouquet was not as advertised. She ordered me a bouquet that came in a very specific vase with a "Happy Birthday" stick out that added to the price. It was the correct arrangement of flowers, which were still really pretty, but it was delivered in a plain white vase and no stick out. And the card was rumpled up. We are both extremely disappointed in both "Quality" Florist and Telefora. My mother did not get what she paid for. read more

Simple gift experience turned sour, I ordered some get well flowers for my wife since she's been having a rough week, they were supposed to arrive while she was at work so it could lift her mood up and cheer her a bit, this establishment actually called my wife which ruined the surprise factor and ask her what time she'd been leaving work, they called her about 3 hours prior to her leaving work and they delivered just 30 minutes before her shift ended while I was already on my way to pick her up......if I would have known that I would have just delivered them myself, the flowers came in with poor quality and do not reflect the service that was paid for, they are wilting and don't look fresh. The real name is Quality Florist. Search it you'll find the bad reviews . This is for people thinking about trusting this place sending balloons as a gift to someone. My daughter received balloons at 6:30pm at night at 5:30 am collapsed. Cheap latex balloons there is a huge difference between latex balloons their the ones from the 99 cent store and the thicker pricy ones that hang in there for at least 24 hrs . Even the Mylar ones that were in it is already sinking. Cheap...Cheap... Cheap I don't want the person who gave them feel bad but I know they spent a lot of money on this. Ironic they call themselves Quality Florist. I also spoke to the manager to tell him what happened and he was trying to defend these cheap over priced. Balloons.Do not waste your money here. Horrible Florist. They are extremely unprofessional. I have gotten two flower deliveries from my boyfriend from here. I thought the flowers were pretty enough but when I sent him pictures he said they were nothing like they were supposed to be. First delivery they forgot the card (which was important for me to understand) and second delivery they forgot the box of chocolates. Once the chocolates were delivered (which was the next day as they didn't see it was important to fix the issue on the same day), I was equally as sad as they were a $2 box from Walgreens. Nice flowers, terrible customer service. A friend ordered flowers to be delivered at my office as a nice gesture, which was a complete surprise. I had no idea the flowers were coming and wasn't at my desk when the delivery man Steven arrived at 12:15, when most people are on their lunch hour anyways. I felt badly that he had to wait and rushed down as soon as I got the message. He was very upset and I immediately apologized and explained what happened, and he cut me off, saying "yeah, yeah you're sorry, you're sorry" and continued complaining angrily while I took the flowers (which he tried to put on the floor at first.) Then as I tried to apologize again since he was so upset, he stormed off. I do feel bad, but his rude response ruined the joy of getting the flowers. When I called and explained what happened, the woman who answered interrupted me to thanked me for my feedback but didn't ask for any details, or his name, so I doubt any of this was actually registered. She rushed off the phone so I assume she's used to getting these calls and just wanted to end it. Long story short: please make sure your delivery men aren't taking their frustrations out on your customers. I'd never order flowers from here knowing my friends could get an earful in addition to a bouquet. read more
