Great service and beautiful selection! They are super close to NYP and prices are very reasonable! I needed a vase of flowers last minute and stopped in around 5pm. The guy behind the counter was patient with me and explained several different options. I ended up buying a beautiful bouquet ($25) and a $5 vase. The man took the flowers I selected and hand cut each flower individually before arranging them in the vase. Since I was traveling far, he put the vase in a box and then packaged it up with colorful tissue paper and ribbons! I was soooo happy with the service they provided! Anthony Flowers is my all time favorite florist shop in New York City! I have always been impressed by how warm and friendly their staff is but more importantly, the flowers I've ordered have always looked more expensive than what they cost! Friends of mine who suffered a loss, have calmed to share their joy of having such spirituality uplifting flowers. Friends in the hospital have appreciated the gorgeous flowers and the festive balloons that worked to help them feel better. And my wife has been touched by how much I must love her because the bouquets I brought her looked so expensive, but in reality, were quite reasonable. Anthony Flowers is located on Broadway between 169th and 170th Street and is very convenient to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital as well as the New York State Psychiatric Institute. I love the speed that they'll deliver flowers all over the city and that they really want to make sure that the recipient and the customer feels that they getting exceptional flowers. I really feel that Anthony Flowers deserves at least 5 Stars, I'd give them more, if that was possible. read more

This florist was a life saver as I needed 30 long stemmed roses for my daughter's birth day on Sunday Feb 6th at the last minute. I found them on google and called several times. I was having technical issues on my end and surprisingly they called back although I wasnt able to answer. As soon as my phone became available i called back and they remembered me. I was able to place the beautifully arrangement and it was ready within 30 mins. My daughter loved it and so did I. Anthony's flowers went above and beyond. Specifically, Lambros. He helped me get THE PERFECT TREE for my boyfriends birthday. We worked together for a month, he went to greenhouses looking for this specific tree, and specific height, and literally made all my dreams come true! It's BEAUTIFUL! Absolutely wonderful. I stopped in, knowing nothing about the place, to get flowers for my wife recuperating in the hospital. A few minutes later I emerged with a GORGEOUS red-rose bouquet and a new pal. Lambros could not have been more helpful and friendly. A real people person who knows flowers. I was having a pretty rough day. When I noticed the shop. I browse around for a bit before I decided on what I wanted. Plants and flowers always seem to put me in a better mood. Anyway, I wanted a certain look.. short flowers , bright, square vase etc.. Randy was very quick to assist me and I let him pick what he thought would look good. Ten min later I had my arrangement that came out looking quite beautiful. Very healthy and vibrant flowers. They also had many types of plants to choose from. It was refreshing to find a people who you can just tell take pride in their work and aim to build relationships. Great little place! It's located conveniently a few blocks from my job so I stop by on my lunch break whenever I need to buy a bouquet. I usually choose my own flowers and Anthony arranges them beautifully in a vase. They also wrap the bouquet very nicely with ribbons and clear wrap to keep everything in place if you need to transport it (also sits well in the seat of a car). All in all, this shop has everything you need; a wide variety of pre-made arrangements (always beautiful) and the flowers are fresh. They also do wedding and party arrangements, as well as deliver. The prices are also very reasonable for a florist (the bouquets I custom pick usually range from $40-60 for a large bouquet- wrapped, ribboned, and in a vase). New plant mom here-- I've been to Anthony's twice recently for advice/help on taking care of two of my new house plants, a deliciosa monstera and a peace lily). Over the weekend I was planning to re-pot my Lily as I was watering it the same as my other two plants (which were doing fine) and yet it was looking ROUGH. I took it to Anthony's and not only did he re-pot and basically do life-saving corrective surgery (LOL) , he also had his assistant walk it with me all the way to my apartment because it was too heavy for me to carry in the new pot! Talk about quality service! Anthony and his assistant Louis (sp?) have gone above and beyond every time I've come into the store and I am so thankful to have their service in my neighborhood. I called on Friday for a floral arrangement for a wake on Sunday. I told them to write "May you sing with the angels" on the ribbon. I gave him the address and told him it started at 3pm. Unfortunately, while all other arrangements were there before 3pm, this arrangement came about 15 minutes after the start time. That was not a big deal. However, I was upset to see that our message had been botched. Instead of saying "May you sing with the angels" it said "May you sin the angeles". Situated at a sweet little spot, where St Nick crosses Broadway, across from a little park, next to Columbia Wine Co., at the bottom of Washington Heights near the doctors and hospitals. I guess it's a flower shop, but I've always come there to buy house plants. Their plants are acclimated to being indoors (and not moved outside and and in, like some places that sell plants). Knowledgeable staff, and friendly--I got a ride home with my new plant! You see, I usually walk there (about 15 blocks, past other plants stores, because I like this place). It was raining, so they offered to deliver the plant. I just assumed I'd go along for the ride.... And when they realized what I was assuming, they just went along with it!
