I walked out of here covered with blue green turquoise wax (how many people can actually know the color of their wax unless it's left behind in big quantities) and still with hair that a Brazilian wax should have removed. After a wax I normally tip and walk out feeling like I'm on a cloud. Today I went home laid back and started taking pictures because I wanted to be sure I wasn't being over critical. 17 pictures later I'm disappointed at the time I wasted and won't get back. I don't know if the service was rushed because of a packed schedule since next appointment called in while I was there. She asked for next appointment to give her two minutes. Two minutes I was out the door. My only other thought was maybe the hair wasn't long enough for the wax. She could have said that in the beginning and I could have rescheduled. She is sweet and makes you feel comfortable. Definitely would recommend her to someone doing a Brazilian for the very first time ever. Comparison is the thief of joy and she made me miss my old regular waxer.

I was a walk in and was greeted at the door. I was immediately seated for my pedicure and was introduced to my tech. Immediately I knew this was going to go wrong. The pedicure was mediocre at best. Although he did a decent job with the polish. It being a week before thanksgiving, I had a specific design in mind for my manicure. I showed a picture and asked if he could do it before he started. I was guaranteed a yes. The manicure was ok. My problem started as soon as he started polishing. I tried to explain but his English was limited. Another nail tech came over and explained what was needed. He still did not do it. The pictures I uploaded are of the base coat. The first picture is of the design I wanted. Do you see how sloppy and uneven it is? The polish doesn't even extend to the tip of my nail. As soon as I saw this, I asked for the top coat so this can be over. Now for the kicker. The same tech who came over to explain what I wanted took my payment. She asked if I wanted her partner to "fix" my manicure as she saw I didn't get what I wanted. By then I was over it. I said no thanks, just the check please. She continued on explaining that next time I should make an appointment. How he (referring to my nail tech) doesn't know much. I looked at her, confused. Why would a business have someone who is inexperienced or "don't know much" assist a customer who is paying for a service? I was so baffled. I tipped my tech and left. Never ever again.

The little things, like well-kept nails, can make a huge difference in how you feel.

However I got lucky and received great service and shapely eyebrows from Nisha. Nisha works on Wednesdays, Fridays, and weekends. She has a eye for attention to detail and makes my eyebrows look perfect. In addition, she makes sure I'm happy with the shaping and in between shows me how the shape is coming along. I highly recommend getting threaded instead of waxed on your face. It's so much better for your skin. If you have never gotten your eyebrows threaded, in the scale of pain, it's not so bad. Even if you have sensitive skin you will be able to handle it and if you can't only a few uncontrolled tears will come out. In the past year they have added two more service chairs, meaning wait time is less now since they have two additional ladies who joined their team. They have replaced the sofa with bar stools while you wait. Overall, good changes. The prices have not increased this year, which is great because compared to other threading salon this one is decently priced.~

I gave them a shot and tried out a few of their threaders, who did an ok job. But then I found Nesha (spelling?) and I've had my brows slayed ever since! You can tell she's really good because many of the other women who come to the shop are sitting in the waiting chairs just for her, even though there are other ladies available to provide the same service. She takes her time and makes the unpleasant experience of threading bearable. There is one other lady named Saima who did a great job when I had her once and she works weekdays when Nesha isn't there (Nesha works Friday-Sunday) so you have someone to get those brows done if you can't wait til the weekend. Prices are okay, $11 for brows. Make sure to ask for a punch out card if you plan on coming back often-they don't volunteer that information but they have them.

After each one was only able to remove small pieces of it, sadly it was still there. It affected my self esteem as it was very visible and people would often point it out and tell me it looked like I was getting a stye. I went to the esthetic center and the entire process was quick and painless. They numbed my eyelid prior to removal and the removal worked. It has now been about a week and a half and it is totally healed and my eye looks perfect now. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I can't tell you how happy I am. You guys are amazing.
