STAY AWAY! First I bought a pistol from these people, and it broke irreparably within three days. I didn't want the hassle of having to send it back, so I just tossed it. Then I ordered a second replacement for the same item, and after arriving a day late, it was not at all as described in their catalog. Their email Support appears to all be automated and is completely nonresponsive to my issues. I am going to instruct my bank to reverse the charge to my credit card and, if necessary, I will fight it out with them in Court. FFFFFF----- as an overall online buying experience. read more

Stop using FedEx. They never deliver on the original date, then after that they just put a new date in tracking until they decide they can make time to get around to it. My doorbell camera has recorder them tossing the package from standing height no matter what it is. They suck, which makes Pyramid suck for the fact that they keep using them. I have started ordering things from other sources because of FedEx delivery practices. read more

I read the previous reviews. My experience with customer support was great! Specifically, with Gene. I've had my hw97k and tx200 repaired a few times over several years. I've worked with Gene every time. He has always been extremely courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. On my last repair he added a few small items that I did not think of (new breech and piston seals), the addition of which significantly added to my rifle's performance. When I saw Gene put in a bad light in a prior review, I wanted to post my positive experiences with him over several years. I plan on continuing using his services on all my air guns. I do not know Gene personally or on any other level than as my air gun repair go-to guy. No one asked me or paid me to write this review. Eric Firestone read more

I purchased a compressor, pistol and misc parts for over $2,000. They bill you immediately for the order then keep delaying the ship date. I tried calling to talk with them about this, unfortunately you have to request a call back and the rep i talked to (Josh) was a jerk. Kept making excuses and wouldn't look up my order. Looks like I will be canceling and going elsewhere. I can't imagine if I had a product problem how I would be treated. You may be busy, but word will get around. read more

They have terrible online customer service. I placed an order over a month ago for a product on back order. Their site said it was expected back in stock 9 days ago. Over the course of the past 2 weeks I have seen this expected date be slowly pushed back until today, when the date currently sits at a little more than 2 weeks out. While I am aware they have now control over product availability, I am completely frustrated with my many attempts to get an update. I have sent several emails and requests for info through their site. I have also tried calling multiple times over the past, nearly, 2 weeks. I have received no response. I would cancel my order, but I do not want to wait an additional 2 months somewhere else. read more

Very unhappy with the lack of customer service. I ordered two guns as Christmas presents. About a week after Christmas, we went shooting, and one of the magazines would not hold air. The gun worked fine with the other gun's magazine, so I thought it would be an easy fix. When I contacted Pyramyd Air, I was told because I purchased the gun in late October that it was not under warranty. I tried to explain that it was held for Christmas, but I was told it didn't matter; 30 days had passed. I was able to find what I needed on Amazon. I will not be using Pyramyd Air again. If you have another option, take it. read more

Ordered one of the multi shot pellet rifles from Pyramid Air. The site that comes with the rifle doesn't even adjust, it simply tightens onto the gun so it's always off by a good 3 inches high and right. I tried to get a shipping label printed for the return and it wouldn't process it online, so I was going to ship it myself.....it was going to be $120!! I requested a shipping label from the Pyramyd Air company and they said it couldn't be processed. I asked why, and they couldn't tell me why, are you kidding me! I was going to get a different pellet rifle from them, but won't do it now. My order number in case the company wants to get back to me is 9480118. read more

Warning try your best not to talk to their tech support guy name GENE, this guy has a short fuse, maybe bi-polar, flat out arrogant or just an old bitter man. Don't get me wrong, this man knows his stuff but if you are asking for help and you say or ask a wrong question he will snap at you or you will get yelled at. You are better off doing your own research on-line or call another Air Rifle Store. Other friends had the same experience and I even spoke to another customer service rep and they say the same thing, "I've been dealing with Gene for years, and that's just the way he is." But if you really need to talk to this man, write down your questions in advance so you don't get yelled at! It is hard to believe how bad the customer service is with this company. Do not do business with them. They shipped me a defective product and when I tried to call them literally every time I get voicemail. I called SIX times over three days and stayed on hold for ten minutes when the automatically put you to voicemail and never call you back. I also tried emailing them four times and twice got email saying that the request had been "closed", never responding. If you want any air gun repaired then watch out! I sent my Beemans P1 in for a new cocking lever. After 2 years of use I figured it would need more to get it back in good shape. I like this gun and even if it was the second time in the shop I figured it was worth repairing. Upon receipt of my gun I was sent an email saying it could take 3-6 weeks. A few weeks later I saw on their webpage that it was taking 4-6 weeks. It actually did take 6 weeks plus a couple of extra days. After emails and phone messages with no response I finally got a call saying the gun was repaired and they wanted their money. I don't know how many times I tried calling the tech department and could never get through. Sometimes I'd leave a message to call me back but that never happened. Their return service is atrocious to say the least, I will never do business with this company, and oh yeah the lie to you stating you get a 100 % money back garuntee , except they charge you a 15% restocking fee SO that $1000.00 you spent on a broken rifle gets returned BUT all the other stuff needed to make the rifle work that you have no use for and is fine , you get charged for . I've been buying from Pyramid for around 15 years now. Their prices are not the lowest, but they're not the highest. Service wise they're pretty responsive. Their shipping costs tend to be high for inexpensive or small items, as they generally use FedEx instead of USPS services, but you generally get free shipping with purchases over $150- although you often get the choice of shipping or 10% off. All in all, an honest business to deal with. read more

Very Very poor customer service. Ordered something, returned it, and ask for replacement, never responded to me request for a replacement, so I just reordered it, thinking it would be faster. Boy was I wrong. On the day that I was supposed to receive the reorder, it wasn't even shipped yet. So I cancelled that order. But, lo and behold, they shipped it 3.5 weeks later. I contacted customer service and they said that it was too late to cancel, even though I cancelled it 2 weeks before it was shipped. This is the worst online business I have ever dealt with, their website is slick, but that is about it. Try calling customer service, practically non-existent. Pyramyd Air is a great company to buy from! Great product selection, customer service, and knowledgable staff. Their website is one of the industry's best as well. Placed first order and, so far, extremely unimpressed! They did not include many items that were supposed to be included in my order.

I've made about 30 purchases with Pyramid Air over the last 4 years. During that time Pyramid Air customer service standards have drastically declined. Specifically they have deceptive business practices, such as stating they have inventory in stock in their Ohio location which they can ship with 2 day delivery, when the reality is that the inventory is really located in Utah in their other location/store know as Airgun Depot and can take over a week for delivery. Additionally they will tell you something is shipping that day when they know it isn't. Pyramid Air claims to have an A+ BBB rating, when in fact it's an A-. Their return policy is sketchy at best, so be sure you read it carefully or you can be stuck. read more

Hands down one of the WORST companies to deal with!. The only reason why I gave it 1 star is because they have a working phone. Help is non existent. They say they will call you back, but it isn't for days, if at all. It's sad that good companies do business with them as a distributor. So we the consumer have to deal with their crap, just to buy those products we want or need. The only people giving more than 1 star have got to be bogus accounts set up by Pyramid Air themselves. read more

this is stealing and cheating! i have ordered sever items from you over the last two years. i am amazed of the outcome of my last order. this was pitiful. not the right scope, scope mounts, and packing was terrible. plus the mounts were zip tied and missing two screws. the scope is for a crosman rifle. not a diana. the mounts are for something cheap. i want the correct scope and scope mount for this gun. which is the diana 250 combo bullseye mount and scope.i cannot believe this. come and pick it up or send me my correct order. i am furious! did not have any protection on rifle or scope. scope has scratches in it and mounts are missing (2) two screws. i cannot even use it. i want this handled in the correct manner. this is the second time i have had to reach out about your service.(no scope covers either) darren durham ******this is what i want and deserve. i am not paying anything extra.****** bullseye zr 1-pc mount, fits 1" and 30mm tubes, 11mm dovetail, 0.04" droop compensation, recoil compensation includes 3-9x32 ao scope. diana bullseye 3-9x32 ao scope send me what i was supposed to have with this order. i cannot believe you sent me a rifle with no protection, a damaged scope that is the wrong size and not the one that comes with the gun. then send me scope mounts for a junk gun and 2 screws are missing. plus you had the scope mounts zip tied just hanging in the box. the scope had no protection and the gun had no protection. what were you thinking of. no allen wrenches or tools and no manual. this is what i want and put yourself in my shoes and see that it is not asking to much. but to do the right thing. i am not packing it up and bringing it anywhere. you can come and pick it up or send me the items that were suppose to be there in the order. you have wasted my money and time. i could not even use it if i wanted to. i do not have the tools or all the hardware to support it. this is gone way too far for such a company as you. this is my second time to have to reach out about a problem. please just send me my items i paid for and are not there, so i can use the air rifle. i am furious over this. think of what was done and how you would want it handled. i am sure if you put yourself in my shoes you would see how it feels to pay for something to use and not only can i not use it does not have what it was supposed to have and all the tools and hard ware are not there. put it in a package and send it to me. i want this taken care of asap. i know we have a problem in the world and that is no excuse of the way i received it with wrong parts and missing items. shipping time, yes. but not any other thing. this was straight up disrespect to a customer. investigate on who did this and make them pay for it. i again want this taken care of yesterday. i cannot believe i am wasting my time on this. i paid you and you did not deliver what i paid for. so please send me what i paid for. darren durham you can send me the scope and scope mount and take care of this. the one that was supposed to be sent. not the junk i received. read more

I purchased a Benjamin Marauder .22 with the "10 shots for $10" service and it arrived in perfect condition. Since then I have placed at least 6 orders for other items: Crosman 2100, Beeman, etc and they all arrived either on the day promised or before. PA knows their stuff. I particularly like their product reviews where they mention any differences between what they saw and what the manufacturer stated. I measured the Marauder with my own chronograph and my numbers were similar to those reported by PA. Nice. Several months ago, I did a review of an item and rated it poorly. I supplied data and detailed reasons why. A week after my comment I noticed that item was no longer for sale. They stopped carrying it. Great response. I trust them. Canadians Beware... The service has been so convoluted in my recent experience that I feel the need to write my first ever online review to warn Canadian buyers to be wary. I ordered the Legends Cowboy Rifle last summer which, due to production delays, I received this spring. After about 200 shots fired the seals gave out and Pyramyd air kindly offered to replace the rifle under warranty (after telling me to contact Umarex directly and Umarex telling me to contact Pyramyd Air...). I shipped it to them and provided pdf scans of my shipping receipts for reimbursement; meanwhile I received no notice as to the rifle's reception or replacement. A week after they received my return (as shown on the shipment tracker) I emailed for clarification and was told that they could not (would not?) replace my rifle as they wouldn't ship the 600+ fps rifle across the Canadian border--all this despite the fact that they'd already shipped me the same rifle previously; I have my PAL so I can legally purchase, own, and import this rifle in Canada; and they assured me that the rifle would be replaced knowing that I resided in Canada. Arguments aside, they refused to honour their word and simply sent a refund cheque. It is three weeks since and the cheque just arrived today WITHOUT the reimbursement for my return shipping. During the course of this unnecessarily complicated and exasperating process I have wasted my time in a dozen confusing emails, packaging and shipping the product, and spending now almost two months of the summer (fellow Canadians will appreciate how precious the cottage months are) without the use of my rifle. Learn from my experience and do not bother purchasing anything from Pyramyd Air--the headache from dealing with these people is not worth the couple bucks you might save, just buy inside of Canada. read more

As for the other disappointed customers, I tend to agree, I've spent quite a bit of money with them and later ran into some unpleasant attitudes and receiving a used product (box condition and few fine flaws on pistol) when I paid for a brand new product. If you use a different "ship to" then your "bill to" they will put your order on hold. They did this TWICE even though I placed a second order 1 week later using IDENTICAL CC, Addresses etc, That's not the big issue. On my 1st order I called their 888 customer service line 6X over 2 days. For FIVE of those calls I was placed "on hold" for over 10 minutes before I gave up. There was NOT an option available to leave a msg during these calls. Finally on the 6th time I got through. When I mentioned the difficulty getting through, no apology. It get's worse. In addition to an email notifying me that the order was on hold, they also left a msg from a 216 #. During that same 2 day period i ALSO called that # 2X. The 1st call I did get a chance to leave a msg, which I did. It was never returned. My 2nd call I was on hold for 32 minutes before I gave up. On my 2nd order I called 4x in 1 day, ended up back on the endless "hold" for 10 min/call w/o an option to leave a msg. Finally, disgusted with this LACK of customer service I cancelled the order via email. Will this order stay on "hold" forever? Will it get canceled? Will I get a refund? Maybe they'll ship it?
