Pyramyd air was having a sale for buy 3 get 1 free on ammo. I placed 4 containers of pellets in my cart at $23 each as well as some cleaning pellets at $6 each. It didn't even occur to me that the cleaning pellets could be considered ammo. I noticed that the cleaning pellets were marked to $0 instead of one of the $23 ones after I had already made my purchase. I asked for a refund of the difference in price and they said no. Yes, I should have payed more attention to my cart before checking out, but it was an easy mistake to make when they are categorizing tiny cotton balls as ammo. There is no reason why the company should not refund me partially. I'll be sticking to other airgun websites and local suppliers. I try not to do business with businesses that value $17 over doing the right thing and keeping a customer. Hopefully my $17 mistake can keep someone else from having an equally poor experience. read more

I've been dealing with Pyramid Air for about two years and have spent well over four thousand dollars. Aaaagghh! Just thought of that!! (don't tell my wife) So I' figure, there must be a reason I keep coming back, aye? Yes, availability is sometimes a problem, but you can't fault Pyramid for that. Their phone support isn't always all that cool, cuz they're pretty busy, and don't always get back with you like they say. (MOH hasta be the worst on the planet :o) Lately, they've been running a day late on their delivery promises. In fact, one's supposed to be her today "by the end on the day," which I expect will be here tomorrow, but I seriously believe THAT'S a FEDEX'ism going on there. Prices? I occasionally get stuff from other dealers but across the board, (with possibly a rare exception or two) PYRAMID HAS THE BEST PRICES out there, period! So, while you may go "item shopping" elsewhere; there's no real reason to go "price shopping, elsewhere. Stars? Pyramyd Air - Great little tricked out Brodax - Guns & Ammo Near Me - Solon, Ohio

It was delivered 3 days to MN after ordering. All the various 14 different tins of pellets were correct and very well packaged. The outside box contained the boxed rifle and pellets and packed with paper dunage. The rifle box was either opened or broke open as the styrofoam was damaged and there were some scratches on the stock. Considering the price of the gun I'm not going to make a claim for it. If this got past Pyramyd receiving inspection then the damage occurred between receiving and shipping as the outside box had no damage. I did make a call to customer service to ask if a signature was required before I received it and at 1pm on a Friday it was picked up on the 4th ring and the woman was pleasant and helpful. read more

First orders shipped amazing packaging outstanding, then placed a big order, and they basically shoved them in a box with paper stuffing, half the pellets are ruined, and after a week of back and forth emails, they offered me a partial credit of $25, out of at least 50 dollars worth of damaged pellets plus shipping charges lost... Gave them a chance to make it right on there own without me getting heated up. Getting No more business from me. read more

I ordered an air CO2 powered air gun. The order went through. I later received a notice that the order was canceled due to the restrictions in my location. I'm not aware of any restrictions but the real problem is that I should not have been allowed to make the purchase. It's easy enough to check my restrictions, if any, and not allow the purchase to be made. It cost me time, aggravation and an insult that was unnecessary. read more

Terrible customer service. I was on hold for 30 min and then the automated prompt telling me there was no one available. I emailed them and they never replied to the email i sent about my issue. The address I put down was right but it was the wrong zip code. So I asked fedex if I could just change my address on the shipment and they told me they couldn't do it because the shipper has restrictions on it. I have purchased several air rifles and accessories from Pyramyd and have been pretty happy with their service and staff. I would have given a 5 star rating except for my last purchase an FX air gun. The manual clearly states and has a color photo of a quick connect being included with the purchase, but the rifle came with no quick connect and I was told to take that up with the manufacturer. So the maker sends a rifle to Pyramyd then Pyramyd passes this on to a customer and the customer is told that it is the manufacturer is to blame. But not the people who are forwarding an incomplete product. It just seems to me that this is actually an issue between Pyramyd and FX, that they choose not to deal with. So no 5 star rating. Not surprising though Pyramyd was happy to sell me a quick connect for an extra $10 since I spent over $3000 dollars on just this last purchase alone. read more

I presently have tree orders placed with Pyramid Air. All of which I have nothing to show for . One was a pre order on 11/25/21, an item that was supposed to be available on 12/9/21. It is still back ordered from the factory. That one I can understand . My second order was on an "in stock" item , ordered on 12/23/21 . Still haven't seen the shipped notice on that one yet. I placed another order for an "in stock "item today with explicit instructions to ship A.S.A.P. . We will see what happens . My patience is growing extremely thin with this company . With the increase in shipping volume, the shipping services (UPS, FEDEX, USPS et al) are very careless in handling packages, thus the packages get pretty beaten up. They even paid for return shipping. Their prices are competitive but where they really shine is when you buy pellets/slugs. Buy 4 and one is free!. So you're only paying for 3! Can't beat that anywhere. I've looked. They're Customer Service is good, but it depends on who you speak with. I've called around 4 times and only had issues with one woman with an ego problem.Tech Support is Very helpful and if they can't fix the issue they will give you the Manufacturers Tech Support Number.In that note, I've had to call Umarex 3 times and each time was worse than the other. Stop using FedEx. They never deliver on the original date, then after that they just put a new date in tracking until they decide they can make time to get around to it.
