This spring I wrote requesting a copy of my invoice for a claim for a coffee spill on my sofa.  The Guardsman coverage required a copy if the invoice. I wrote to Perrino, they promptly emailed me a copy of my invoice and followed up with a phone call. Guardsman sent a gentleman to clean and everything is as good as new.  I want to acknowledge the help, follow up and quick response in the midst of the pandemic closings that allowed me to file a claim in spite of not knowing where I filed my paperwork. I would not have been able to have the cleaning without Perrino's help and cooperation.

The next day they called me and said that they found I was correct and that they'd get them in the mail. He made sure that the desk was arranged correction for my new office and that the configuration would fit. They packed the shipment super well and it all arrived without any damage. I had also changed the delivery address to two blocks away and they were able to arrange for that to occur. Michael was also super helpful answering my questions while I tried to set up the desk in my office. These are exactly the people I enjoy doing business with. If I'm going to pay hundreds of dollars to have something framed, I want the process to be organically collaborative. At McKay Bricker, they review options, mats, and layouts in a way that informs and involves you. And they're just good people; friendly, patient, and willing to talk things through. In terms of quality and attention to detail, I have no complaints. When I brought in a mid 1900s etching, I wanted to frame it in such a way that you'd think it was original to the period. Cass nailed it. A few months later, they framed a page from an 1870 atlas. Today, I brought in a collection of army insignia. Jen took the time to find a mat that was nearly identical in color to a shirt that was issued to soldiers in the 1960s, and then did some math & design magic to make everything fit and work. Are you going to pay more here than you would at Michaels? Almost certainly. But the value you get in the decades of combined experience, the quality of the work, and the customer experience makes going to McKay Bricker a no-brainer.

Despite the age of this set, we continue to appreciate the exceptional quality and timeless style of this Fish purchase. Unfortunately over twenty years the set was showing some stain/finish wear and tear primarily around the bases from vacuum cleaners, dogs and five relocations. We initially contacted a local refinishing business to see if they could perform the repairs, but they didn't provide an in-home service and would require the set be brought to the shop. On a whim, I thought I'd contact Fish to see if they were aware of someone that they would recommend. To my surprise, they said they ABSOLUTELY could, as they had a person on their staff for 30 years that did this sort of work for their Fish customers!! This is a 20 year old purchase! Within a week they had Bob out who was able to bring these pieces back to their original beauty and we could not be more pleased. Fish Furniture takes care of their customers! Thank You!!
