It is extremely refreshing when you walk into an establishment and the customer service is spot on. As someone who works in customer service/hospitality you have a small window to engage/connect with your customer and Tony did just that! From the moment I walked in I was greeted by Tony with a smile and great energy. I was in a bind and needed a couple of my boyfriend's new dress shirts pressed within an hour of drop-off, and although Tony and his team were busy with other orders he graciously listened to my situation and accommodated me! I have been taking my clothes here for two years and they are the best! I moved into the area about that time and tried Pyramid after a co-worker recommended them. I had tried hole-in-the-wall cleaners nearer to my place with disastrous results (good bye, favorite shirt :'-( ), but am ecstatic with Pyramid's service. They got a strange spot off my designer comforter (seriously do not know what it was), fixed a rip in my favorite skirt from Paris!!, and are friendly in a good way!! It's a family business and I hope they stay there for a long time! Their tailor is pretty good too. My mom bought me a skirt that was 2 sizes too big but sooo cute so I decided to have it altered and you can't even tell. It fits perfect!! I've had pants altered, dresses, and shirts and everything was beautiful! A good tailor can make you feel like a millionaire! My work also uses them for all their linens. Customer Service Review: I just left here. I came to pick up an item my husband dropped off as well as get a couple of items cleaned for me. Not only was the man behind the counter not welcoming, because I had to say hello to him first... he just looked annoyed that I was even there. After showing him my items he told me $70-$80 to clean a jersey fabric dress. Something that I can actually throw in the washing machine, but just wanted to see how much it would be to get it professionally done. I declined that price and decided to just pick up my husbands item instead. He asked me my name 3 times; each time louder than the first. It was like pulling teeth with him. I won't be back and because of my experience my husband won't be back either. I actually ended up going right around the corner and get the dress cleaned for $15. read more

In response to the comment from the owner, I only spoke to a bald male employee when I was negotiating. From reading the owner's comment, clearly there was a misunderstanding. Instead of rectifying the issue, as evidence from the owner's comment, the tension has only escalated by solely placing the blame at the customer. Losing money is my last concern. My biggest issues were their lack of accountability and resolution of the said complaint. I hope his establishment learn from this minor business mishap. Friendly guys, within walking distance of my apartment, and quick turn-around times. How can you not love that? I searched Yelp for a good cleaners/alteration place since moving to the area and this one seemed to have the best reviews. Imagine my surprise when I found out they're in the parking lot beside my apartment building. I took two shirts to be cleaned/fixed and there was no rush, as I came back the next week. They did a great job and for a wonderful price! I took them another shirt to fix and while I'm sure they could accommodate me for a quick fix, I never need them back too soon, so they can take as long as they want. This cleaner treats their customers horribly. They have the mistaken impression that you need them more than they need you. I went to pick up my order at 4 Tuesday when I was told and was written on my ticket that it would be ready at 3 Tuesday. Well it wasn't ready. Ok things happen. Not a big deal. So I say to one of the owners who was helping that's is ok and that I will pick it up with the things I was dropping off. I asked if I could pick the things I was dropping off on Thursday. This is when the owner began screaming at me. "I absolutely can't do anything before next Monday." So I simply said I was leaving for a trip next Monday. You would think since they just screwed up by not having my order ready on time that she would try to accommodate me somehow. After all it was only four small pieces I was dropping off. Oh no, she just kept yelling at me that she had a business to run and that I was being unreasonable. I took my order to a neighboring dry cleaner who got it done by Friday for me. I went back on Thursday to pick up the order that was late to get home to find the pants that I asked not to be creased were in fact creased and done badly. Avoid this nightmare cleaners at all costs. They won't have your back when something goes wrong and the way they run their business something will go wrong. And as you can see how they respond to customers, they will just make excuses as to why they are right and the customer is wrong. read more

These people are MIRACLE WORKERS!!! I bought my wedding dress last year at LA LEGAL in downtown Los Angeles and their complimentary tailor DESTROYED MY DRESS!!! The hem was crooked and the custom beads on the straps were completely destroyed, loose and falling off all over the place!!! I was desperate to find another tailor who could, hopefully, fix my dress! I got online and searched for tailors and came up with a few. My husband noticed that Pyramid Cleaners was on his way home from work, so we took my dress in and they were AMAZING TO SAY THE LEAST! Tony is always very nice over the phone and his uncle Jack is the best in the business! Not only did he stop the beads from falling off, he put them back on and fixed the straps where you could not even tell they were ever messed up to begin with. They also hemmed my dress perfectly for my very short height. I have never forgotten them! A few weeks ago, I took an evening gown to have it tailored because it was too long and too big and I needed the straps shortened. Uncle Jack made some suggestions on the straps that would make it look better and IT CAME OUT GREAT! I love this place and I will always recommend them to EVERYONE!!! No matter where in SoCal you live, this place IS ALWAYS WORTH THE DRIVE because THEY WILL NEVER DISAPPOINT YOU. They are the kindest and most considerate people you will ever meet. The cleaners is in the same strip mall as Starbucks. I looked up for a cleaner on my way into work. I was so happy to have found this place on yelp that was actually open at 8am. I have been through some moments with other places that say they open early and my a** is there only to find out they really meant they open whenever the hell they want. But not this place! They open on time! I needed 7 items pressed only. I wasn't in a rush so I came back one week later (again because I wasn't in a rush) & my items were ready. Total was $22 but with the yelp check in it took $2 off. Two differnt guys assisted me and they both were polite. I don't have anything negative to add which is why I gave them a 5! Looks like another gem! Clean, organized, easy to find place...honest and straightforward as well as pretty darn inexpensive I think! I had a pair of jeans I was excited to have for my b-day and ordered them in my usual size per that brand only to find the ankle wouldn't even go past my foot! I thought surely it's just a mater of taking out the hem and sewing it back up as I've done a few times before, but nooo! Turns out this model ran REALLy small...so I panicked a little thinking I cant re-hem it to match perfectly, now I won't get to exchange it! In comes a lil yelping, which has yet to fail me and I find Pyramid. I live abt 20mins north and there are plenty of cleaners in my area, but none rated as high & I was NOT in the mood 2 take more chances... I think the guy who helped me was Tony, he informed me they had a tailor but he'd only be in the next day and went over the two stitching options (one more extensive than the other and requiring to undo quite a bit of the pant leg) and approximate pricing to expect...I thought I'd have to wait a few days and maybe it wouldn't even match well enough...but turns out they not only called the next morning as promised, they also matched it PERFECTLY w/no extra un-stitching and it was done by the end of the next day! I think if your expectations are reasonable you'll be quite pleased...I'm looking forward to coming here for future items that need altering/fixing etc, they were quick, well priced and totally pro. read more

I walked in to asked if I could have a dress altered and the older man with the gray hair cut me off and told me they can not dry clean my dress because it had embellishments on it... I proceeded to tell him I did not need dry cleaning I needed alterations, again he told me no due to the embellishment on the dress. He didn't even pick the dress up to assess whether or not dress could be altered. I didn't argue with the man I simple said ok and walked out. This place is horrible in customer service read more
