Machines are broken or don't work properly. Of the 4 washers that I used, 2 did not perform…read moreeffectively. My clothes finished "washing" on a 4 and 6 load machine and the washer never pulled my conditioner and bleach. I asked the lady working here if they could restart my machine to manually add the bleach and conditioner- she said no because she can't, and she told me that's the reason we should be paying attention to our machines, and that we are responsible for adding water manually from the sink to the bleach and conditioner container for them to go through. She said that's why the signs are posted. No signs on this unit say such thing. Since she told me to add them and add water, I did so, and my clothes washed on the rinse mode and so never rinsed. All I wanted was for my machines to be restarted. Given that my clothes washed on the rinse mode, they didn't really rinse, i called the number and the person I spoke to said that he would have this fixed. Later on- While I was drying my clothes the lady came back and said she was told to start new washers for me free of charge, at this point my clothes that were not rinsed were being dried and I just needed to go because I have work to catch. I asked her if I could get my money back for those 2 machines and she said no, only 2 paid washers if I run my clothes again. I don't understand why someone is not here physically managing this place in case issues like this happen. I paid 7 dollars for a 6 load and 6 dollars for a 4 load- and I lost this money. Go elsewhere, my recommendation. If you do decide to come here, don't forget to bring a big cup to flush the bleach and conditioner manually in case your machine doesn't pull it properly during the cycle.

With the changing of the guard, Jotti and her husband Mickey caught the crooks red handed; embezzling thousands and thousands from customers, the register and uncovered their scheme of hiring a third party fluff and fold to actually do the customers laundry! Until this day there are customers who are shocked that this had carried on for as long as it did and feel betrayed by the father/daughter scheme. Now that this fraud has been ironed out, I can legitimately recommend Happy Bubbles Laundry for all your clothing upkeep needs! Angie is a sweetheart and has been hospitable since day one! She is the hardest worker in North Hollywood and has even watched her grandkids while managing the place! She's the first one in and last one out! And what's most impressive is that she seems to always be in good spirits with a smile on her face! They had really great reviews to begin with for dealing with wedding dresses so I decided to give them a try. I coordinated to meet their expert tailor and she was fabulous and so helpful in customizing a look that would not diminish the overall look of the dress but just subtly tighten a mini strap at the back to shorten the length of my arm straps. It was tailored exactly as I hoped with minimal fuss and all the glory when I tried it back on. I was so happy with their tailoring g and cleaning of the dress before my wedding that I brought it back first them to have it cleaned and preserved for $350. It comes in a concealed and propped up box so that the dress maintains its quality over the years until I decide to use it again and/or maybe pass it down to my stepdaughter. The store was very clean, the machines were easy to use, and the staff was extremely helpful. I'm not very experienced with doing large amounts of laundry, but one of the technicians took the time to teach me. He noticed I had too many suds in the washer, explained why, and even offered me some extra fabric softener since I didn't have any. I also had a machine get stuck after putting in $2.50 toward a $4 cycle. Again, the staff member came over, fixed the issue, and helped me finish my laundry without any hassle. Because of their help, I was able to wash pillows, down comforters, sheets, and all my bedding. Clean store, affordable prices, and people who genuinely care about helping customers. After moving from the Westside into the Valley I was in need of a dry-cleaning service that I hope would be as good as the service I used in West Hollywood. After trying serveral Valley cleaners, I stumbled upon Pyramid Cleaners on my way to the post office. Later that day I brought a bag of clothes in and was caught by surprise at how very friendly and welcoming Tony was. Having lived on the Westside for a while, this was not common. The family-owned & operated company are the best folks - they are friendly to a fault; concerned about your well-being; any concerns about cleaning problems are addressed and advice given are explained in detail and you are assured that they will do the best possible job to resolve any problematic situation. You are greeted with a hand-shake, big smile and after your first visit you are made to feel like family (a family anyone would be more than happy to be a part of)!!! Tony, his dad and his uncle the tailor do a wonderful, timely and perfect job on everything I have brought in and will work with you on tight deadlines without the slightest hesitation. Once I brought in 4 suits that I needed later in the day for a funeral that weekend. By 5 pm they were ready and good to go!!! I have now been going to Pyramid Cleaners for 4 years and have also noticed their regulars as well as many new faces. I've been going to Pyramid Cleaners for a little over 3 years now, and needless to say, they're the best in town. From the moment you walk in, to the time you leave, you're greeted with friendly service with a smile and many times, a handshake! They not only clean and fold to perfection, but, for the busy professionals who need presse done quickly, they will work with tight deadlines. I have many times dropped off clothing in the early morning and picked up in the afternoon. This allowed me to look super sharp the next day for meetings. I've also taken many Indian cultural clothing heavy in silk and beads, and Pyramid has cleaned and pressed those to perfection. When you clean and press Indian clothing BETTER THAN the people who wear it, then you KNOW Pyramid cleaners in on another level. I've used Pyramid for over 4 years and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Shimanu (spelled right?), his dad and UncleJack are the best. I always ---ALWAYS....stick around and laugh/joke with them every time I pick up AND drop off clothes. Then, Shimanu has the nerve to ALWAYS carry my clothes to my car!!!! ALWAYS!!! They are genuinely kind, professional and I consider them lifelong friends. For what they offer, not only in quality of service, price and speed, but in customer experience, is rare to find these days. My friend, with noble intentions, recommended I use a local cleaners open 24 hours but I declined stating I already had a relationship with Pyramid. The best dry cleaning services in the Valley! Tony is wonderful--great customer service and always makes sure he gets it right. They also have a great tailor on premises--there is absolutely nothing that Mr. John can't fix. I know, because he has repaired a zipper in a 1960's original Balenciaga suit, an antique quilt, and replaced elastic in a pair of pants for me. All of his work is as fine in detail as it gets... Their prices are excellent, Tony is so professional--as is the rest of the team. And by the way, everyone smiles when you walk in the door. I go to them and inform them that I need my blazer ready cause it gets all the girls, and they compassionately understand my situation and do a quick effective job. The management has recently changed, and I had a chance to meet the new owner, Talha. He is very nice, polite, professional, and really cares about keeping the place clean and comfortable. They have already made some great improvements, including adding a proper fitting room for alterations, which makes such a big difference. I'm very happy to see all these positive changes. They damaged three of my new pants--one of them during its very first dry cleaning, and the color completely faded. These were Zara pants, and all my pants are from there. I also bought a pair of Diesel jeans and gave them measurements for hemming, but they shortened them by 2 inches too much. On top of that, I had another new pair of Zara pants altered. They charged me $35 for each pair. I showed them the damage they caused, and all they said was "sorry." This used to be a wonderful place with amazing service--now it's run by liars and thieves. They even charge $5 just to clean a T-shirt. In short, a huge disappointment. Stay away from this place!!
