Your sofa, sorry, wedding dress, will be made to order and this shop run an appointment only system( on Mon, Tues, Fri and Sat) to ensure that each bride gets their individual attention. Nancy Jane Brides also looks after the entire wedding party; it stocks bridesmaid dresses in 58 colours, flowergirl dresses and petticoats, cravats to match and it hires out suits for all the nervous grooms out there. There are wedding dresses to suit all shapes and sizes from size 10-30 and love the fact that they sell dresses for less formal, civil weddings without a train or piece of tulle in sight. Veils, tiaras and wedding shoes are all available to purchase making Nancy Janes a one stop wedding shop. You are given 4 rings and simply put them around the hangers of the dresses you like. You can then try on those 4 before going back out to choose another 4. The dresses are samples from shops so they generally only have 1 in each size and when they sell they are gone so be aware of this if you fall in love with one! It was moderately busy for 1130 on a Saturday. We got a changing room straight away though. One of the assistants helps you out when you get changed then she kindly suggested some dresses she thought would suit me as well and went to get them. They had some stunning things in my size. You are possibly a size bigger than normal here so beware when choosing! I could have happily bought 2 of the ones I tried on. The lady also helped me try on matching veils. Again I can't wait to go back and try on more dresses here.

However after being tired off about this shop we headed out here to see what it had to offer. The shop is near Warrington but a little further on. It's a good size and very discreet and private. Some places I went to were so small people could loom in the window and see you trying on the dresses which I didn't like. The staff are absolutely lovely and so helpful. They worked to my budget and didn't rush us like other places did. They have a great range of dresses to suit all budgets. At the back there is a huge range of sample dresses if you don't want to spend a couple of mortgage payments on a dress. They also have lots of head pieces and veils so you can try a whole outfit if you wish. I ended up buying a dress, veil and head piece for a great price and it was THE perfect dress. However today the pressure all got a bit too much and I went on a mad dress hunt!!! First stop, Celebration Village. It wasn't too far away actually just behind the MEN Arena. I wandered over today quite late on to find the store very empty, just a few sales assistants hanging around but nobody jumped on us as soon as we walked in which was a nice change. This store is huge, I mean massive! Tons and tons of choice, if you have any special occasions coming up I strongly advise you to pay this shop a visit! Absolutely amazing dresses for all occasions. The shop assistant was very very friendly and helpful, not only helping me try on dresses, full on encouraging me to because she wanted to see how they looked! She also offered to have the dress fitted to my size a little better and have it taken up too! Really couldn't fault the service. Prices were not too extreme, hire costs were very reasonable and a lot of the dresses to buy were very low prices too.

The service is brilliant and the staff are so helpful and polite. I picked as many dresses I liked to try on and then the staff chose some that they thought would suit me in the end I chose the one that I first clapped eyes on. The lady let me try it on as many times as I wanted so I was sure on my decision and she also let me try on accessories to see what would match with the dress. After choosing your dress they give you all the information you need about when your dress will come and suitable seamstresses to get in touch with if you need it altering. I went to pick my wedding dress a few weeks ago and the staff were so nice yet again and they helped me to pick out a veil which I picked up yesterday, the gentleman was so nice and wished me luck on my wedding day and I told him I would reccomend the shop anytime to anyone who was getting married and my friend went for an appointment yesterday as i reccomended it so highly. I will definietly be putting photos on their website from my wedding day and I don't understand anyone who would write a bad review about this shop and the staff, all I would say is that it wasn't an actual bride who has visited the shop but another rival wedding dress shop who are jelous of all the praise and business that this shop gets.
