Her dresses appeared on My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding which revealed insight into the process the travelling community go through in preparation for marriage. In 2006, she designed what is believed to be the world's biggest wedding dress which weighed in at a whopping 25st with a 60ft train. The dress had 30,000 Swarovski crystals and 120 metres of silk. The choice at Copplestones was huge but as the shop was so well laid out it was easy to find what I was looking for. You book an appointment and…read morego and look through all the dresses (there are hundreds of them on rails!) and the great part is that they're all the top labels from the high street wedding shops but for much less! No dress is more than £300. Mine had a price tag of £1200 but was only £300! You can then either put a deposit on it and pay it off or pay for it then. Then you can go back and have a fitting with their seamstress (Angela is lovely!) a couple of weeks before the wedding. You don't get the same fuss as in an expensive shop but they have made the place as nice as possible and then you can go off for a glass of wine in Liverpool afterwards! The service is brilliant and the staff are so helpful and polite. I picked as many dresses I liked to try on and then the staff chose some that they thought would suit me in the end I chose the one that I first clapped eyes on. The lady let me try it on as many times as I wanted so I was sure on my decision and she also let me try on accessories to see what would match with the dress. After choosing your dress they give you all the information you need about when your dress will come and suitable seamstresses to get in touch with if you need it altering. I went to pick my wedding dress a few weeks ago and the staff were so nice yet again and they helped me to pick out a veil which I picked up yesterday, the gentleman was so nice and wished me luck on my wedding day and I told him I would reccomend the shop anytime to anyone who was getting married and my friend went for an appointment yesterday as i reccomended it so highly. I will definietly be putting photos on their website from my wedding day and I don't understand anyone who would write a bad review about this shop and the staff, all I would say is that it wasn't an actual bride who has visited the shop but another rival wedding dress shop who are jelous of all the praise and business that this shop gets. On a Thursday evening they are open late, well, later anyway and you can have a glass of wine although it doesn't look as if they are a licenced premises. It's strange what you don't notice when you live somewhere, or accept as being normal when you pass it on a daily basis but it took a friend visiting from Sheffield last week to point out the strange couple who stand in the window of this communion and christening store. Considering communions and christenings are big events in Liverpool, having what looks like a small man with a terminal illness and a girl pointing and laughing at him in your window is an odd choice. Having said this Little Heirs and Graces does a good job at stocking outfits in a range of whitish colours for real little people for these big social events and I can't really knock it for that - doesn't mean the couple in the window don't scare me!
