My wife loves this place! GF, grain free, dairy free options were available! We chose this bakery/cafe over the S street location bc the S street doesn't carry salads. Service here is prompt & informative. You will have to wait for them to prepare your salad to go though but it's not that long really. The crispy chicken salad has been my wife's favorite now! She also got to try their lemon bars & raspberry bar as well. They were TDF! She did also experienced their cute little grain free & gluten free breads! Wow that took her back to her childhood days of comfort food. Just ask her Mom. lol Love the ambience here. Don't let the outside unassuming strip mall deter you. It's very cozy modern inside however seating can be limited inside. When it gets warmer there is some patio covered seating. You know we will be back!

I had the ham and cheese quiche which was really delicious and it came with a simple side salad. They have a wide selection of pastries too and also sell containers or Babes vegan ice cream. Service was very friendly and you pay at the counter.

Veggie/vegan/omni with lots of options! Cute spot on Arden that has something for everyone and happens to be GF! Friendly staff, seating indoor/outdoor and delicious menu. Food is fresh, excellent baked treat options and don't forget the coffee. Yum +

I love that Pushkin's is moving its way to the suburbs. I love that they are able to make gluten-free food without compromising on quality, especially as someone who has several gluten-free people in my life who are not gluten-free by choice. There is an excellent drink selection, and my iced London Fog was delicious. All the pastries were good as well, and I was impressed with their selection of ice cream to choose from. One pastry I had was a daily special with fresh raspberries and raspberry jams in it. It was the end of the day when we went, but the bread and the jam still tasted fresh. Everyone was friendly and answered questions our group had and gave advice on what they enjoyed, which helped a lot in selecting from the many available options.

Always good service and amazingly esthetic pleasing looking desserts here ! Everything is gluten free but not nut free. Chill and casual ambiance. You can either get your goods either to go or dine in. Come by this new location soon!

Lovely bakery with charming seating areas The outside has a beautiful brick rustic look and easy parking They have a large selection of pastries and some food items. I tried out their barracuda cupcake and it was utterly delicious!! Incredibly creamy soft and moist with the most light and fluffy frosting

I found out Pushkin's opened near my work and we checked it out. I love that it's close by. I'll be coming here more often! Pros: I ordered a Cobb salad and wasn't impressed at first. I was hesitant since I noticed there was dates in the salad. But the dates with the goat cheese knocked this salad out of the park. I really enjoyed the mix of flavors and fell in love. I love the variety of pastries available too. Plenty of parking and it wasn't too busy. Servers were friendly and quick. Cons: not too much seating for dine in.

The incredible duo, Danny and Olga have done it again... for the fifth time! Starting from a cozy little bakery downtown, filling a much needed niche for those who are vegan, vegetarian, lactose intolerant, and gluten sensitive. Their production is not only geared around these needs but also tastes great for everyone. During their soft opening, I got their lemon bar, my all time favorite. Great balance of lemon curd to shortbread crust. When I asked about the Barracuda Cupcake, they said chocolate four ways... SOLD! If you're a chocoholic, get these. The third item I got was the Tiramisu Cupcake, it totally live up to its name. With lots of seating inside and outside dining patio with easy access and ample parking, this is a go to spot.

Cobb salad with SO MUCH good stuff!

This will make all four of their locations checked off for us... Just opened a few weeks ago, we're quite happy to see them so much closer to us now! Location is a bit on the smaller side, but there is some outdoor seating available (no shade, though...) But, it's super clean and comfy. Menu is essentially the same as the Roseville location Since it was lunch, we opted for the Cobb salad. Magnificent! Super friendly and helpful staff, and it's great to see that they seem to all enjoy being there! We did, too.

So excited that Pushkin's Bakery & Café opened a new location in Arden! I've been hearing amazing things about their vegan and vegetarian-friendly menu, so I had to stop by and try it out for the first time. I ordered an iced brown sugar latte with vanilla syrup and oat milk. The perfect drink for anyone who likes their coffee on the sweeter side. I also treated myself to a banana cream pie cupcake, and WOW... it was absolutely amazing! They offer such a wide variety of pastries, it was hard to choose. The space is super inviting with plenty of indoor seating for hanging out or working, plus a cute patio outside. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Only small downside is that they don't have Wi-Fi yet since they're still getting established but I'm hoping it'll be available on my next visit. Highly recommend checking out their new Arden spot and supporting this awesome local business!

banana chocolate muffin is extremely dry and does not smell appetizing at ALL absolutely not worth it!! Muffin looked good but looks can be deceiving Ambiance is nice and service was friendly and large menu variety

Always a pleasure to come here and have options for my son who has celiac. I didn't get pics but we had custom made breakfast sandwiches which is really cool that they do. We just did the basic sausage egg and cheese. They were delicious! My son also had a cinnamon bun, a marble cake and an oatmeal cream pie cookie. There hasn't been anything there that we haven't liked. Service is always 10/10. Very friendly and helpful. The vibe is kinda trendy hipster and works for this type of establishment. Will definitely be back.

If I could give negative stars I would. I ordered a Peach Bellini Iced Tea & salted caramel coffee along with 2 pastries. The Bellini looked off putting when I received it and figured that's the way it looks? WRONG, it tasted like someone put pure tap water in my cup with a hint of peach, it was beyond gross. I wouldn't even give it to stray dog. The caramel coffee was even worse. Don't get me started on these revolting pastries WTF? What a waste of money. Besides the disgusting drinks, there were 5 employees behind the counter and yet I still had to wait super long and it wasn't even busy??? And to wait to get this?? I should have tasted them in store but I was on the go. How disappointing. I would rather go to McDonald's and I hate McDonald's.

Poor taste for both quiches. Seemed like no salt and very little vegetables. The party was also a disappointment.

Sana'a Cafe - Inside the Chicken Fatayer

I visited Sana'a Cafe in Sacramento, CA [901 K St] on Friday, 03/27/26, around 12 PM…read more What stood out to me about this cafe was the gorgeous ambiance. There were a lot of gold accents and beautiful lighting, which absolutely added to the overall vibe of the interior. The entire environment was even calming, peaceful, and comfortable. I proceeded to order the Mango Passionfruit Refresher and a small Baklava. Oh my goodness! The drink was dynamite as well as the baklava being on point! Both items were just super tasty and exceeded expectations. This location is in the heart of downtown Sacramento. Even though the parking can get quite chaotic and busy, it was well worth the visit! I highly recommend coming here.

Sana'a Cafe is in downtown Sacramento, CA…read more I popped on into Sana'a on a weekday for a coffee and something to nosh on. I've been to a Sana Cafe in San Rafael but the first time at this location. They are franchised, independently owned coffeehouses specializing in Yemeni coffee, pasties, and light bites. The staff were direct, cordial and efficient. I asked the cashier what was their best selling drink which he said "everything is good". I believed him. However he had no recommendations. Unsolicited, the other customers in line kindly gave me some. Nice. I choose the Sana'a latte with oat milk. It was creamy and infused with cinnamon, cardamom and ginger. Luved it. Delicious. Drinking this, put me in the zone. I also ordered a ground beef fatayer and baklava. The fatayer was a savory, handheld meat pie with a yeasty dough exterior. The meat was on the dry side but by golly it had flavor. Spiced up! Not hot heat level but packed with flavor. The baklava was a tiny teeny size which surprised me and left me wanting more because it was darn tasty . They also have dessert pastries which looked all so prettily yummy behind the glass counter. Most are made with milk of some sort though. For the lactose intolerant folks, I recommend bringing a lactaid pill and going for it. The interior decor is striking. Bold gold and black colored furniture and opulent chandelier lighting fixtures dominate the room. Fancy. I'm picking up regal, posh vibes. The design aesthetics are similar in all Sana's Cafe. Plus this location is open 6am-midnight everyday. Probably one of the only urban downtown coffee houses open that late for caffeinated night owls. The cafe is a few blocks down K street from DOCO. I don't know how it's like in this area after the sun sets. Just sayin.

I dont have photos of what I got for valentines day but remmeber them being ok but nothing mind-blowing Maybe its just the DOCO one that sucks but I went to give them another chance the day before mother's day and sorely regretted it. I got the matcha croissant ive been hearing about, the new blueberry cream croissant and the mango passionfruit entremet. The Croissants were a huge flop. Blueberry had barely enough filling inside-the cream itself was tasty but croissant was rough in texture and not flaky. Matcha was a bit more flaky and had more filling-I wouldn't say GENEROUS amount as some have said but maybe I just got a bad one. The cream was too subtle -it was more like vanilla with a hint of matcha. The entremet was the only one that didnt suck-it was delicious but again I wouldn't say anywhere in Sacramento has wowed me yet with their entremets compared to places in the bay except for the ones that ginger Elizabeth has had in the past-the flavor itself was on point, i will say the texture of the entremets have a majority layer of the jelly part-if they could perfect the variety of layers you're supposed to get in each bite I would be more impressed as thats the whole point of enjoying an entremet. Honestly I should have just gotten one pastry to try in one day as they are pricey-i paid 31 not including the tip fot my pastries, and in this economy one cannot waste that much on disappointing sweet treats lol

Rick's was the only place open late that had actual desserts. I mainly ate their cakes. They looked amazing. But I really did not enjoy them. Too dry. Just not good, compared to other bakeries in town. Over the years, Rick's remained a Sacramento staple, and when they opened up their new location in Midtown, the dessert community welcomed them back and embraced their sweet offerings, bigger space, and late night hours. I never went til just a couple weeks ago. Around 9pm on a Friday night I was craving banana cream pie and the husband wanted cherry pie. On Yelp search, Rick's came up as the top choice that was open. So we went and stood in the long line. The place was crowded and loud. Lively and busy vibe. Line moved at a good pace and the staff helping were nice but hurried. So we took our lil pies to go. We both liked our chosen pies. Now I know what to order if I go back to Rick's. Pies over cakes. Café de Olla is a classic Mexican coffee that offers a well-balanced blend of coffee, cinnamon, and brown sugar, often served with heavy cream to give you a comforting and energizing boost. Traditionally, it's even served at funerals as families celebrate the passing of a loved one into a better life. It's meant to be warm, rich, and meaningful. However, the café's version was far from that. The counter staff overpromised their Café de Olla, but it tasted terrible. When I asked to switch to a mocha because of how bad the coffee was, their friendly smile quickly disappeared. They didn't offer a replacement or try to make it right. Instead, I had to pay again for the mocha just to finish the coffee break with my wife. Very disappointing experience. It was an easy decision not to come back. If you're going to sell poor-quality coffee, at least stand behind it and fix the problem instead of charging customers twice. Promotes well in facebook- HELL NO not again.
