This place is more than a workout facility it is a community of amazing people. Don't get me wrong, we work to our max pump, but when you walk in this gym people know your name. Gym goers make nice conversation (ladies you know the comments you get at the corporate gyms?) NOT AT THIS GYM ! Ryan Nelson has been an incredible resource as a gym owner and personal trainer! The atmosphere has a near-perfect mix of old-school and high-end anabolic/clean equipment. If you want to compete and be engulfed entirely in the bodybuilding environment, then 100% spend the $69 to get a membership. They also occasionally freeze adding new members, so as to avoid the gym ever feeling too busy (maintaining the "private gym" experience and community), which is amazing, and something I've never seen before. Cons: The price is $69 ($59 if you commit to 3 months, or $49 if you commit to 6 months) per month, which is quite the sum. There is also no two arm cable machine, save the large cable machine in the middle. This makes some sense, because this is supposed to be very old school bodybuilding-esc, so it's definitely something that I wouldn't necessarily say is a bad thing, but it's important to consider if you can't see yourself working out without that. Overall, if you can get past the price and want perhaps the best gym vibe around, this is absolutely 100% the place you HAVE to go to. The community is amazing so positive as well. I would love to compete one day, but I'm currently not in a position to afford that price, so I won't be going here beyond my three day free pass for the time being. If you can afford it, however, definitely don't miss out on this opportunity. It's something I'm not sure you can find anywhere else.

The gym itself is a bit older and smaller than some of the newer locations. It gets very busy in the late afternoon and evening, especially after work. That said, they still have a decent amount of equipment, so you can usually get a full workout in--it just takes a little more patience during peak hours. The biggest issue here is the men's bathroom. It's consistently dirty every time I've been in, which is disappointing. On top of that, whoever installed the hand dryer clearly wasn't thinking it through. It's mounted only about six inches above the counter, so your hands end up touching the counter while you're drying them, which is pretty gross. Overall, it's a functional gym that gets the job done, especially if proximity matters. It could use some updates and better attention to cleanliness, but it's not a bad place to work out if you go in knowing what to expect.

But this white girl that looks young told us we can't use his benefits and his membership wasn't active which what she said was bullshit and doesn't know what she's talking about at all. She must be new enough to not understand how that works. So we went to another EOS on rural and Guadalupe and they helped us both a lot! I'm a guest with my friend and I have 10 days to go to their gym without him if I wanted to. And the guy at that location agreed with us to and said he doesn't know what they're on about. He showed us my friends membership being active. So I HIGHLY recommend the EOS on Guadalupe and Rural!! They're so friendly and very kind and 100% helpful I love that location and we'll stay FAR AWAY from the EOS on Warner and McClintock CUZ SCREW U ALL.
