I wish we could have tried more. We had the hand-pressed burger which was delicious. I had the fried green tomatoes (5 slices hot from the fryer) and the fried okra. It was ver satisfying. Plenty of tables for larger groups. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful making for a nice change of pace while traveling. The homemade dessert list was extensive--Amanda makes them all except the cannoli's! If live close by--lucky you! If you're traveling by, be sure to stop in for a meal. You won't be disappointed!

I feel like this is the place you'd run into someone you know every time, if you were from here or had integrated into the Savannah, TN community (which is nice). Service was friendly and prompt. The food was very mid-caliber for me. I had the pimento cheeseburger, jalapeño poppers, and the salad bar. The salad bar was...well, it's what you'd expect to find - basic "shredduce" with bare minimum topping options, though I was surprised to see some beets (tiny little suckers, though). It was edible and nothing looked as if it'd been neglected, so, solid middle. The jalapeño poppers, while RIPPING hot, were standard frozen meh. The burger didn't do much for me either - the pimento was bland, the patty was bland, but the bun was soft and the meat:bun ratio was good. Overall, fine food and ok value, but I don't think I'll try it again during my few months in the area. The question for a good burger in Savannah continues...

My first bite into it and I felt my tastebuds screaming for more, all sense of time ceased to exist and the room went quiet. "You and me" from the beetles started to play and I was looking at myself from outside myself. I'd take out a second mortgage on my house if I couldn't afford to eat one, this is a rare moment where you have been let down by so many other steak houses but you manage to be in the right spot at the right time and have an existentially mind blowing experience. Recommend, go here, get the steak, look at me, not the price, get the steak. It's worth it. You can't eat money, money does not taste as good as the steak. If you're still reading this and not eating that steak that's a problem.

We don't typically leave negative reviews, but unfortunately our recent experience was…read moredisappointing from start to finish. My husband made reservations two days in advance over the phone, but when we arrived, there was no record of it. We were seated in the back, which wasn't ideal but we tried to remain understanding. We started with the gator bites ($15.99), and were surprised by the very small portion -- mostly crumbs with just a few small pieces. It did not feel representative of the price. After waiting a little over an hour for our entrées, my Cajun Buffalo shrimp arrived. The flavor was very good, the portion was generous, and the price felt fair for what I received. However, my husband ordered the 1/2 lb crab legs, 1/2 lb shrimp, and fish bucket ($39.99), and unfortunately that dish was very disappointing. The crab legs were acceptable, but the shrimp were soggy, gray, and mushy in texture. He only tried two pieces because the quality was concerning. The fried fish portion was also extremely small -- three pieces roughly the size of a quarter, not even half of a fillet. Service was also very slow. After being there for about two hours, we had to go find our waitress at the bar in another room just to pay our bill. We truly wanted to enjoy our experience, but based on the food quality and service, we will not be returning. I wish I had gotten pictures.
