Saturday, November 2, 2024 we took a little road trip from Corinth, MS along some back roads to Waynesboro to look at the color change. We have been through Waynesboro many times but have never explored the Square/Downtown. It's a quaint little place with shops and a few eateries. We looked over the menu (which is also online) and decided to spilt a Supreme Pizza (12" was around $17). Our waitress was attentive and kind and the Pizza was good. The vegetables were not raw (some places just toss veggies on and they do not get cooked)but actually cooked with the pizza. We will definitely be back. read more

Food was amazing. Ribeye was exactly how I ordered it and probably the best steak I've ever had. Potato was amazing. Salad was delicious and the croutons were perfect. Cheesecake was 10/10 absolutely perfect. Service was amazing too especially for a Friday night. It was also not to quiet and not too loud in there either. Has to be one of, if not the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. read more

Amazing atmosphere and friendly people. Service is quick and simply good choices of the menu. We had the Santa Fe chicken and ribeye steak. The portions are very large so be prepared to have a carry out. I've visited this establishment in November and they had already decorated the entire restaurant for Christmas. It was beautifully decorated and a lot of antiques still remain in this older establishment. Please check out my pictures of the decor. It's definitely a family restaurant. It is dry and therefore there are no alcoholic beverages served. If you're in Waynesboro visiting I highly recommend that you take a time to eat . Drove 30 min to eat here and after walking in we're very quickly asked to leave as they closed at 8 instead of 9 like their website and sign clearly say. And it was explained they started doing this months ago. So with plenty of time I feel they could have at least updated their stuff and not had to be rude to customers read more

TRIPLE TO RIGHT TO DRIVE IN TWO RUNS!! This place hits the spot. I stopped by here while traveling through this part of the state on my way back to Memphis. A woman at the board of education recommended it and I was not disappointed. I had the special: grilled chicken sweet chili wrap with a side of green beans. The wrap was delicious with a great savory flavor accentuated by the sweet bit of chili sauce. The beans were well-seasoned and cooked just right with bacon flavoring. Clean, descent service. Food was nothing special. I had a steak sandwich. Meat was tough, and not a lot on sandwich. I was charged 25 cents for a glass of tap water. This is a first in any restaurant I have visited. Not a good business move! It's not the money, it's the principle! I hope this doesn't become a trend. What's next, charging for air? Saturday evening at 7:10 pm on 6/24/2023, upon entering the restaurant, we were instructed to sit where we wanted. We sat in an area that had a couple other parties and many dirty tables to be bused. After waiting about 10 minutes another couple came in and a waitress went right over to them and cleaned their table and gave them menus and water. We were invisible, no one came to our table, after having at least 3 of the wait staff walk by us several times, we were totally disappointed, and we left. We will not be eating there again, very poor customer service. read more

Been picking up a couple times a month for a while prices have gone up dramatically and quality has declined. Got my normal order Friday 3 Catfish dinners Normal price 36 and change new price just less than 50.00. It's like buy 3 pay for 4. The dinners were not as good as normal either catfish was less meaty than normal and overcooked. Fries tasted like they had been cooked for a while and the hush puppies were burned. I understand prices are increasing everywhere but usually a fair amount this is a ridiculous increase and especially when quality of food is worse. read more

Apparently, I came in on a VERY good day. Our service was superb and our waitress was constantly refilling our half full glasses. Our portions were HUGE and the gentleman I was with (self described garbage disposal) could only eat HALF of his catfish dinner. I had the Alfredo on the recommendation of my guest. A bit garlicky, but very tasty and filling. Decor is your typical "country restaurant". Prices (for lunch at least) are great! read more

The lovely Ms. Jones and her rock star husband rolled into Emeralds this past week while searching the region for their retirement Shangri-La. Seated in the romantic alcove that overlooks the town square, we shared a simple lunch of burgers and fries. Don't let the simplicity fool you--everything was delish! Big burger, fat fries, ice cold drinks (no alcohol mind you as they can't sell it since this fine establishment is located next to a Church). Thank you Shelby for taking good care of us. I ate here two nights in a row while in the area for business. The first night I had the key west shrimp with rice pilaf and steamed vegetables. The shrimp was fully cooked but mushy. It was also covered in an overly sweet sauce. The vegetables were blah like something you would get off of a buffet. The second night I had the Asian chicken salad. The lettuce and tomatoes were pretty good. The chicken looked like small pieces of chicken nuggets covered in a sweet sauce. The dressing that they had paired with it was some type of syrupy sweet vinaigrette. Both nights I also got the egg rolls which were pretty good. The bread and butter that they give you is also pretty good. The wait staff were all kids and did a decent job. read more

This place has a nice atmosphere & good food, but I can only give a couple of stars for that because even the best food is no good when you have to wait so long for it. After three visits, I feel comfortable saying the entirely teenage wait staff seems to think they're doing us a favor by letting us eat here. They're slow about EVERYTHING & have NEVER offered a drink refill. Not once. The ONE waitress who has ever been helpful here wasn't even ours. She saw us being ignored, took pity & checked on our food for us. However, it did no good because when our waitress, who was also the hostess & apparently the "in charge" that day, found out the girl helped us, she threw a fit at the girl right in front of us... AND still never checked on our food or refilled our drinks! It's bad enough having horrible service. Watching one teen who was "in charge"chew out another teen just for doing what waitresses are supposed to do is THE worst service experience I've ever seen. I have to wonder if the hostess is the owner's daughter. She had an air of entitlement that I've only seen in spoiled brats. Even great restaurants can have a slow day... That's why we went here three times before I posted this review. After three visits, I feel I can say that really bad service seems to be what they're going for. The owners may want to reconsider that strategy & get some adult supervision. The wait staff here is worthless. Two hours for a cheeseburger is ridiculous. read more

This has got to be the worst restaurant in Wayne county to eat hands down! just on the teenager staff alone. Food is ok, not worth the way over price they charge on the menu but good I guess. the teenager staff hangout in groups and hide in random spots in the restaurant and are on their phones all the time, the only time a waiter or waitress comes to your table is to order your drinks and food other wise you have to get up from your table and hunt someone down to refill your drinks or make a complaint. They get orders wrong. Every time I've ever been there I've had something come to my table that was not right! They Don't give you the drinks you ordered, the staff talk louder than the customers I don't know what this restaurant is thinking charging people the outrageous prices for the food when the restaurant is out of control! I've only been there 3 times but I'll never be back again read more

Went there for lunch today around 1:30 P M. Place was busy, a table had to be cleared for us with one room of vacant tables available. They would not seat us there. After a ten minute wait the server finally took our drink order. We also placed meal order. A grilled chicken Ceaser salad. When it FINALLY arrived the lettuce was warm and limp. We sent them back and they did serve one with cold lettuce. Very little dressing but we managed to eat them. The servers do not bus their tables and therefore the table is loaded with used plates etc. Also while we were eating one server was mopping the floor. NOT a very appetizing scenario. read more

This local place is a notch above your typical country cooking. The menu offers something for everyone with appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, salads and main entrees, all reasonably priced. I had the fiesta salad with the Cajun chicken and it was spicy, with a delicious spicy ranch and the crispy tortilla strips were a yummy treat. This restaurant is clean and has good service too. Stopped on our way through town on a recommendation. We ordered pizza, Chicken Alfredo. Figured it would be good since that's how this restaurant got it's start. We certainly weren't disappointed. Price was very reasonable and the garden salad was one of the best we've had in a long time. Service was good & very friendly. Bathrooms were super clean - that's always a big plus in our book. I gave it 3 times I visited before I gave a final review. Overall food is good, prices are too high, and teenage staff is the worst!! We commonly noticed other waitresses off in the corner for 20 mins or more at a time texting away on her phone next time I'm going to take a picture! We came in at dinner time each time with only one guest with me so there was 2 of us in total, one time I just ordered a hamburger, no mayo, no onion but I want everything else on it, 45 mins later burger got to me finally of course fully loaded with mayo and onion on it! Wth!!! but the staff Absolutely terrible! Every single time we visited we only seen the waitress 2 to 3 times of us being there well over an hour waiting on our food, simple dishes hamburger and fries $10 or a chicken plate $13 at least or a $13 pizza that was as small as a dinner plate took over 45 mins to get to us. Every time we needed a drink refill every time!!! we had to get up and go to the front counter only to discover all the teenage staff, waitresses in all. Grouped together watching videos on their phone laughing, yelling, horse playing around, hello I need my drink refilled! It's not only that, the wait time for food was rediculous! Just horrible! On average of 3 times visiting it took 45 mins for us to get our food simple dishes. Won't be back will not! read more

I love this little place even tho I sometimes wish for better service. We walked in tonight and were told to sit anywhere. There were a couple of tables available but none clean, we sat and waited almost 15 mins making eye contact several times with different waitresses hoping they would offer assistance. I finally stopped a young lady and she was truly horrified that we had not been given menus Or asked for drink orders.... She promptly went to retrieve things and told the hostess that we hadn't been waited on .... She was actually extremely sweet with us and punctual although I didn't get her name ....kuddos to u young lady!! We placed our order appetizers and salads came...lovely. Our entrée's were delivered, my husband's hamburger steak was a processed Patty and it was obvious!! And nasty.... My southwest chicken pasta was good but lacked the spice it needed.... Coffee good, waitress we had was lovely, and the decor was very cute.. But experience was 2 hours and blah!!!! read more
