After writing a nasty negative review for Intelcom for their complete incompetence, I have to give compliments where it's due. Thanks to ALL your drivers, workers and pretty well every department we've ever had to deal with. Your company is the prime example of how things should be delivered and handled. Horrible, disappointing business. I subscribed to any parcel updates, as well as obsessively checking the tracking website. The day of supposed delivery my parcel status went from "Arrived at sorting facility" straight to "Attempted delivery". I could've easily been there had they bothered to scan the package as "Out for delivery" even 10 minutes prior. Of course, Purolator says it's impossible to communicate with a driver even when they make a mistake. Impossible for them to try EVEN A LITTLE to fix the situation: they could call me, redeliver or, at the very least, drop off the parcel that day at the nearest location once they found out they messed up. Instead I have to go the next day because they're too lazy to drop it off nearby until 11am. I can't believe how many times I've been in similar situations with Purolator. It must be the cheapest delivery company, because it's a horrible value for the end user. I called to leave a complaint, and it took me 40 minutes on hold just to tell a human being how poor their service was. The customer support agent was nice. read more

Purolator has had the meds for nearly two weeks causing me to spend hours in the emergency room for emergency meds. No one will give me a definitive time for the return of my meds, so i continue to live on the edge waiting for those heartless bastards to return my package. ABSOLUTELY amazing how bad this place is!! Someone needs to acknowledge all the bad press this place gets and DO something about it!! *I am sure I will receive a bland "so sorry for you experience as usual"; NO one at Purolator seems to give a hoot about improving things so these stock apologies are ridiculous. Today I had to go all the way to Purolator as this useless group refuses to deliver to my area which is INSIDE the city limits! I had 3 large, heavy, anwkward pieces of lawn furniture to pick up. The young woman at the desk brought them to me on a dolly (cart) and obviously assumed that i was the one who would manhandle them to my car. After a few failed attempts to handle the dolly she voiced to the other customers that "i was a disaster"! I then said that my husband would have to pick them up. In a snotty voice she said "what- they won't fit!?!" I said "NO- they are too heavy!" Through this all there was a male employee in the back who was making sure that he didn't offer any assistance. Finally an elderly, like myself, man helped me lug the pieces to my car all the while he was saying how TERRIBLE this company is. Let's hope that very soon this ridiculous company disappears OR is taken over by a group who actually trains their employees in customer service. I wish with all my heart I could give 0 stars. This place is the bane of human existence. The absolute worst delivery company to deal with. There's zero communication between drivers and customers, and between customer service and dispatch. They can't talk to the drivers, and you can't either and the explanation is "it's just our policy". What could easily be solved with a quick phone call or a message to the driver will just cause you unnecessary frustration. If you miss your delivery, if you're out for a walk, or in the bathroom, or don't hear the doorbell you're screwed and need to wait 24-48 hours for redelivery. This practice is so awful, nobody likes dealing with Purolator. Amazon, FedEx and even Canada Post offer more flexibility. You can't even pick up at the depot the same day if you missed them! Just pray to God that you never have to deal with them. read more

Suggested business upgrade for you, when you collect the package, put a stamp on it and mail it, to ensure it gets where it's supposed to go and on time...... FIVE days on a truck "out for delivery"??? and those days were after the due date.... National phone won't answer their phones, Victoria branch won't answer their phones..... still waiting for an email response...... The replacement parcel arrived before yours!!!! I was hoping there would be some other symbol further left indicating Purolator's true service competence and professionalism. How Purolator stays in business is beyond comprehension. And why establishments like Sleep Country would use them is even more puzzling. Mattress picked up at SC Monday, mid-afternoon, and still hasn't arrived in Fairfield (in Victoria and not many kilometres away) on Friday. No feedback via email and really pathetic telephone assistance once one manages to actually get off hold. Absolutely the worst service!!! Paid over $60 to ship an important LEGAL document to Ottawa and back, they wrote my phone number down wrong and didn't call me when it had been returned. Tracking number didn't work, and there customer service told me it was MY fault. Every time I go in there you wait a minimum of 30 min to be served as they can NEVER find any packages. Honestly, go through Canada Post for sure. Total rip off. read more

Am a 70 year old senior. Live in an apartment on the top floor. Today, Purolator came and buzzed me at the main door and said they have a delivery for me not announcing who they were. As I was expecting the parcel today, I let them in the building. No one came to my apartment door ... full address on the parcel. A while later I became quite concerned and went downstairs to check this out. No one was around. I turned to go back home and luckily I spotted the parcel ... it was sitting on top of the mail boxes. This could have been picked up by anyone. What recourse would I have had? The parcel was delivered. Extremely POOR service. Next time I will tell them to bring it to my door and we shall see what happens then. read more
