Advanced Installations was contracted to remove the mold on the drywall and 2x4 studs behind it! It was a mess. They did a great job! I also contracted with them to replace the 2x4s and drywall! My experience with this company was as disappointing. I was recommended to this company by a…read morefriend who is a contracting company and neighbor. I thought for sure I had found the answer to my home repair needs. I did not. After waiting for a return to my phone call for a couple of days I was finally contacted by the estimator and we set up a time for him to come to my home. He did tell me that he may be "a little late". The day of our appointment arrived, he called about 15 minutes before the agreed time and said he would be to my home in 30 minutes. He did not arrive until an hour and fifteen minutes after our set time. Then while looking at my home he told me that getting the siding materials for my home was no longer possible. I had already checked this information out and knew that it was possible. I shared this with him. I named a lumber company that could provide it. He told me that that company was no longer in business. He made a phone call there and then and either learned that he could get the product or that the company I mentioned was in business? We walked the house and I gave him the information as to scope of work I was looking for. I asked how far out they were in scheduling. He didn't give me a real answer but did say that they might be able to "fit me in". He would get a quote to me in a couple of days. My quote came a few days later via email and I did accept it via email. I sent a second email and asked when we could get this scheduled/started. Later that day I received a phone call saying he had bad news. The quote sent and accepted was no good. I was quoted the wrong amount and I would be sent a new quote the next day. I received that new quote with the exact same scope of work and wording but this one was hundreds of dollars more. I asked how a mistake made in their office was to become something I should pay for? Needless to say I declined the second quote...and the first. When I spoke to the president of the company I shared my experience with their estimator and the quote situation. They "stand behind their employees". I hope this helps anyone considering using this company. For me, my time is valuable and as is a company's word/quote.
