The rice itself had great seasoning and a really nice flavor. However, the dish was a bit disappointing because it was almost entirely rice--the chicken was practically nonexistent. For a dish like this, you expect a better balance of ingredients, and unfortunately the main protein was missing. The pastry is crisp and flaky on the outside and slightly doughy in a delicious creamy, flavor rich, way on the inside. The seasoning of the meat stuffing was so wonderfully savory. The salsa is just the perfect spice (a little hot for those who are cautious, wonderful for those that love medium- medium plus). The salsa has a really bright fresh flavor.
