After our wedding ended, we went offsite for some extra photo shooting and they offered to go with us, they are kind of people who would try their best to produce the best work even it requires extra effort! Nic also has a superb video editing skills, he gave the videos back to me even before my tight schedule and was very responsive in making some small changes. My husband was very hesitant of hiring videographers at first, we had a small wedding, he didn't want to have 2 photographers and 2 videographers running around the event which might interrupt our guests. But during the wedding, we didn't feel any interruption and now he is so glad we had them recording the whole event, because that's something we would remember for life. Major warning!!!!! Do not use this business. They will change their pricing on you and treat you…read morepoorly. And if you are not happy with their services and decide to give them a negative review on social media, they will threaten to take you to court. And above all, they will even post your personal information (such as your cellphone number) for public, which puts you at risk of harassment by strangers. So here is my story: I normally try not to look for vendors on Craigslist, but since I was working on a budget I decided to check Craigslist for alternative/ inexpensive vendors and that's where I found "Dreams Come True" to provide me a quote for my party. Upon calling them Crystal answered the phone. Her tone was very unpleasant from the beginning, but one thing that made me initially consider them was their cheap prices. While I was on the phone with her, I sent her photos of the type of cake and decorations that I wanted and asked her what she would charge to do all this, she initially quoted me a total of $375. Later when we spoke again, she suddenly raised the price on me. I was shocked that she would literally change a quote that she originally gave me. When I inquired to Crystal about the higher price she continued being extremely rude to the point of almost yelling at me over the phone. I finally told her: "I would be willing to pay more just to work with someone who treats their customers fair". After the rude phone call I decided not to move forward with this business. As a result of this encounter I left them a negative review on yelp. Crystal is now threatening me by sending text messages to my cellphone telling me to take down my review or she will sue. I know I have done nothing wrong to let my fellow consumers know the truth about this business so they don't go through what I went through. I am aware that Yelp takes such lawsuit threats to their customers seriously, so I have reported Crystal's threats to them for further action. Now there is additional proof of this business' unethical and unprofessional practices that you all can see for yourself. As a customer you cannot trust them with your personal information. Crystal has posted screenshots of our text conversations that shows my personal cellphone number. She could have at least cropped out my phone number before posting the screenshots online, but she doesn't care about customer privacy at all. I have never given her permission to share my number with strangers publicly. As a result of her sharing my number publicly, I can become a target for further harassment by strangers, for which she can be legally held liable. Customers be warned!! If they posted my personal information online, they can also post yours, so as a customer if you are willing to risk putting your personal information at risk, then choose "Dreams Come True". --- Update--- Hopefully this will be my last update and finally this business will stop harassing me. Although I don't feel the need to explain myself to Crystal, but I am here to clarify something just for the sake of other customers who are reading this. So I am here to clarify that I never lied, but simply re-worded my post to be more specific since Crystal had difficulty understanding my point the first time. However, I still stand by my initial post in which I stated "I am not happy with their work for my event". YES, this is a true statement because Dreams Come True did some work for my event in regards to putting together a quote, that is part of the work that they do. An event planner's job does not start just on the day of the event, it involves dealing with the customer prior to the event as well. Therefore, I was unhappy with the work they did related to my event and I decided not to move forward with them. If I had said something like: "I am not happy with the particular cake that Crystal made for me" then yes you could call me a liar, but that is not the case. I repeat, what I said is that I am unhappy with your work for my event and I still say that. I am unhappy, but not because your price was expensive, in fact you were the cheapest I had found. But I am unhappy because you changed the original quote on me and because you were extremely rude to me. Dishonesty is against my principles. Now I have hired a new vendor who is much more expensive than you, but extremely professional, ethical and pleasant to speak with. I am glad you showed the world how unprofessional you are by calling your customer a liar in public, also admitting to threatening your customer with a lawsuit simply over a two sentence yelp review. If you are in the event planning business you need to have more patience and a pleasant personality. Your job is to calm a nervous bride down, not be a bridezilla yourself. From this point on, i don't have to say anything else, I think people are smart enough to read all your comments and judge for themselves.

We absolutely love our wedding video from Legacy Films! We had not planned to have a videographer,…read morebut one came with the wedding package for our venue and we debated seeing if we could get a discount to drop it from the package. But many of our friends had told us that a wedding video was a good idea because it helps you relive the day and see parts you would not be able to otherwise, and they were absolutely right! Mark did a wonderful job of capturing not just our ceremony, but some sweet moments during our pre-wedding photos, the cocktail hour, toasts and our first dances, and even a little bit of the open dancing before the end of his contracted time. The day passes by in a total blur of joy, so we are so glad to have this video which captures the beauty and joy of the day, and we get to see even more than we actually experienced. With COVID wedding pivoting compounding wedding expenses, we didn't say yes to some extra things Mark offered, but would encourage anyone in early planning stages to plan for the extra expenses of 1) videographer coverage of everything (our contracted time didn't cover our cake cutting and the open dancing, which seemed fine in theory ahead of time but now I wish I had footage of those things) 2) go for the assistant videographer! some of my favorite things about watching the video were all the things i wouldn't have been able to experience like what was happening while the guys were getting ready or seeing people connect at the cocktail hour. there could have been so much more of this if I'd said yes to an assistant for part of the time (and so appreciate Mark running around and working as hard as he did to give us what we did have!) 3) a highlight video. while i am so glad we have a full hour and twenty minute film of our special day, that's not what most family members will want to watch. so having a short highlight video to share with those who cannot come, especially these days, would have been a nice addition. I can of course only speak to Mark's work on our wedding video, but I would assume he would do an amazing job on any of the project types Legacy Films offers since he has a great eye and vision for storytelling.

The video was exactly what I was looking for, complete with moving music, set to my own photos and video clips. A cool wedding favor they offered was instant photos (where guests take an entrance photo with the bride and groom and get a copy to take home at the end of the party dinner). The groom and I were pretty unorganized and one of the photographers was nice enough to drive us to the reception since we had no car. Too funny.
