I scoped out a number of different videographers before I chose Nick. My husband (fiancé at the time) and I initially liked his video style- creative and entertaining and adept at catching the right emotion in the moment. We set up an in-person meeting to talk more and get to know him and was won over by Nick's interest in what we were looking for and devotion to creating the style of video we wanted. He was very easy going, friendly, professional, and more importantly, is very devoted to what he does for a living. Nick and his partner arrived right on time the day of the wedding and split up to catch both my husband and I as we were getting ready. We hardly knew Nick was in the room but he was there for every important moment of the day. When our DJ's microphone didn't work during the ceremony, I was afraid we wouldn't be able to hear our vows when we went to watch our wedding video. To my delight, Nick saved us by bringing an extra mic and clipping it discretely to my husband and we caught every word of the ceremony! Nick and his partner stayed late into the night so were able to catch some fun shenanigans on the dance floor. He caught me before he left and promised to turn the video around in four weeks. Before sending over the first draft, he asked me to pick out the soundtrack for our wedding video, a gesture I really appreciated since music can really make or break a video. True to his word, the first draft of the video showed up in my inbox a few weeks after our wedding. The first time I watched it, I was so moved I cried! He incorporated some requested changes and the final video that Nick delivered was touching, beautiful, artistic, and seamlessly edited.
