I was greeted by staff politely and enjoyed the music. What I thought was a simple pedicure, which I said very clearly in Spanish to cut my toe nails as short as the example of my finger nails. Carina nodded as if she understood but such was the case. When I asked her if she was done Carina replied yes. I asked for my large toe to be cut shorter and left the job she did. When I communicated to Carina that I didn't like the job done, she replied "that's fine" walked away with an attitude and put her headphones on. Her coworker was nice enough to suggest that she would take a look at Carina's work. Vegan natural salon located in Midtown right across from Piedmont Park in a small shopping plaza that has free parking. The staff is friendly, salon is clean with lots of natural light and you don't smell chemicals. I like that they accept appointments and walk-in customers. However, it's pretty popular, I recommend making an appointment I be completed online or by phone. I've had Maria as my nail tech on both visits and have not been disappointed. I had a deeply disappointing and unhygienic experience here during a recent pedicure appointment. Despite arriving on time, I was left waiting with my feet in lukewarm water that quickly turned cold--for over 20 minutes--until my technician was available. The foot soak was done in a plastic bucket, no running water, which already felt unsanitary and a little medieval. Things only got worse from there. My technician (Faith) was rude and abrasive, and the service itself felt rushed and careless. Callus removal was performed roughly, and shockingly, the tool was rinsed in the very bucket of water my feet were soaking in--something I found extremely unsanitary. What followed was what I assume was a mix of dish soap and salt scrub applied to my legs, then "rinsed" with the same dirty water from the bucket. The soap was not fully removed before lotion was applied on top--no proper rinsing, no massage, and no regard for hygiene. I asked to forgo polish and just have my nails buffed so I could end the service early. Even then, I was left sitting with damp, dirty towels over my legs while the technician stepped away for over five minutes. My legs started to itch, so I took them off, and a rash was forming. This experience was uncomfortable, unclean, and overpriced--I paid $77 for what honestly felt like a huge health risk. I would not recommend this salon to anyone who values cleanliness, professionalism, their health, or basic customer care. read more

There were two ladies running the place and doing well they both were occupied with clients but still made time to greet and get the people walking in situated. I love the fact that they use organic and natural ingredients. That was my deciding factor or giving them a try. Shantice was the tech that serviced me for my "Such a gentleman" pedicure. Which consisted of a hot stone massage, detox foot scrub, rough skin/ callus work, moisturization, hot towel wrap and all the standard pedicure treatment like nail trim, cuticles etc. Shantice was nothing less than top-notch, and I didn't miss anything but not getting the initial tech I booked with. She cut my nails straight across though I asked for squared oval. She didn't file the top of the nail at all so it remained rough. She didn't paint the edge of the nails so there is no cap on the nails. There is a white line that is clearly visible after one day. This was not a good manicure. read more

The place is very clean and has a decent about of colors for being natural/clean beauty. We both selected gel polish (Ive never had clean gel polish so my expectations are low). I had an 11:30 manicure and I left the salon at 1:30. I had an appointment and they told me it would take 40 minutes and it took 2 hours. They were talking on the phone throughout my appointment and tending to other people's nails. My mom had an appointment next to me and she waited an hour for her nails to be started for her 11:30 appointment. The manicurist filed off the side of my finger. Attaching a picture below. First, a file shouldn't be used on the side of my finger. My finger started to bleed I told her I was in pain and she didn't apologize. My finger is still throbbing and a chunk is missing from my finger. This has been an awful experience. I love the idea of a cruelty free nail salon but this salon was cruel to me. Really wanted to love this salon because it's non-toxic but just can't. Two visits for mani/pedis with appts and had a 20-30 min wait both times. The first tech was friendly but unprofessional and seemed distracted the whole time. My nails were fine but quality was definitely lacking. The second tech was more professional and focused but turns out she gave me a lesser service than I booked and although my nails looked good when leaving, within a couple days, my cuticles were a mess. I had also upgraded to a polish that was supposed to last 14 days (but guaranteed for 7) and it didn't make it even 4. The salon is really nice with a good selection of polish but needs some major quality control (and better lighting for the techs!). read more

My husband and I first went in when they had just opened in December for pedicures and really loved the personal experience we had. Every step and product was explained well and executed perfectly. Just went in again for a mani/pedi and decided to try some nail art. Deshaunna (sorry if I misspelt, girl!) was my nail tech for both visits and killed it each time. She went out of her comfort zone to try out an abstract design for me and I couldn't be happier! She took her time to make sure both she and I were happy with the end result. I thought it would be a great experience based on the great reviews I read about it, but the one thing no one mentioned is the fact that the parking lot is ran by scammers who will boot your car and charge you $75 to remove it. It didn't matter that I was there to visit the nail salon. When the guy showed up to remove the boot I presented my receipt to show that I had every right to park there and he refused to even acknowledge it. Nice nail salon. Right by the beltline and piedmont park so easy access if you live in the area. The staff is really nice. Tried this place randomly out and about. Cleanest nail salon out there. They're fairly new but experienced staff definitely. Cruelty free products and it doesn't smell like harsh chemicals. Beyond the fact that it is clean and uses all non-toxic vegan products, the attention to detail the staff gives is above anything I've experienced at any other nail salon. It truly was the best pedicure I have ever had. Not to mention, they have a type of nail polish that can last for a week or more on your fingernails without chipping. I've been doing gel and SNS and it has killed my nails, but I love the look of nail color so I always go back. This is now my solution - it stays longer than typical nail polish but without wreaking havoc on the nails, and comes off with regular nail polish remover. 5 stars all the way around.
