This place holds some interesting items. Sighted were old bar signs, license plates, appliances,…read morefurniture, crafts, dishware, clothing, books (children & adult), records, stationary, and bath products. I found a kayak paddle for 6$, and bought it because I plan to own a kayak someday (sadly I didn't find one for sale here). The items sometimes require a bit of a hunt, but that's half of the fun.

What the lady from Bloomfield Hills does not seem to realize is the "3 M's" are all 'alive - organisms that spread & grow just like ants or fleas. If you have a library and a book is put on your shelf that has mildew on it, that mildew CAN & usually Does grow & spreads to other books. If you have clothing that has mildew on it, you can see the spots & you usually can not "wash it out". I won a box-lot of vintage 1920's hats at an auction. It was a lousy day for an auction - raining & windy. My nose was running and I could not smell. I got stuck with mildewy hats. Great. SO if you donate a truck full of stuff & the musty smell hits you in the face when the door is opened, it is NOT "one little thing". But it IS like skunk spray - not going away. So please do not blame the helper. Their trash bill is over a thousand dollars a month.

Their space isn't huge, but they offer a wide variety of items, including wall art, all sorts of glassware, small appliances, and furniture. They also have a section with children's items, including toys. They even have a free shelf that offers religious items. Their volunteers are pleasant and available to answer questions. Overall a great shopping experience.

Thanks St Vincent's for doing what you do and providing a comforting place to shop. I wish your store was much larger and filled to the maximum. I'd be there every day for sure.
