Items I've purchased at the Mio Flea Market: - pocket knives (or, as the sign at the market says, "knife's") - some nice big belt buckles (a copper one with an owl; a silver one with an antique looking cheshire cat in a tree) - hand saw (poor quality) - cast iron trivets - tools - soy candles Items I've seen at the Mio Flea Market: - a vendor holding a large pet iguana - a wide array of guns, ammo, and other weaponry (from nunchucks to ninja stars to bows/arrows and on and on) - Leather goods (jackets, ass-less chaps, pants, gloves) - an array of questionable items one can only find at a flea market (homemade crafts, old gaudy jewelry, patriotic memorabilia, a bunch of other old weird crap...) There's some good, bad, ugly + bizarre - and it's bigger than it appears from the road. Enter and be transported to... somewhere... read more

It amazes me people will go to a flea market expecting Amazon and Walmart pricing and merchandise.Lol.. Apparently the complainers lack the ability to understand the world around them, garage sale items they say. Well keep shopping the big chains for your deals because in reality which most don't live these days vendors are unable to purchase 50,000 microwaves for 5 dollars a piece. I visited this flea market when I was out at my mom's this summer. It offers a great selection of new and used merchandise. From what I understand most of the vendors are established and have been there for some time. Something I think a lot of people miss is the kitchen in the far back of the market. They have a great selection of both fried and grilled foods. They also offer a nice selection of breakfast foods too. If you have never been to Mio, MI before its a quaint and quiet town. The locals are friendly and you can usually find a good buy here! read more
