I decided to by one for $3.50 or so but they have a $5 minimum for credit cards and I like to use my card, partly because of the good receipts I get while travelling and also for the record of purchases that come with my bill. So I grabbed another WT card to meet the minimum. The cards are pretty, though.

They carry a lot of Pendleton items, which are not cheap, but worth the cost. You can drop a lot of money here easily, but it's a nice store with great customer service and selection. Yep, $300 for a Pendleton throw blanket might seem steep, but the quality is great. I like the stock, for the most part, high quality items with hallmarks of good craftsmanship. They have an interior design/art studio/home furnishings area in the back. If I had a home on the lake up here- and I definitely want to buy one eventually- I know that my wife and I would be up here shopping to decorate and furnish it all the time. Her and I always walk out of here wanting to buy everything they have. It's a great store. They also sell Vera Bradley handbags, jewelry, men's and women's clothing and leather products, most of it of high quality.

It was way hotter than I'd estimated and I wanted to buy a cooler shirt without leaving downtown. I said I didn't really need a new shirt in general, just wanted something cooler than the top I had on. The new owner said, "Well, in that case, I just put some cute new tops on the clearance rack." So thoughtful! She even came over to help me find ones in my size and pointed out the best deals. I bought a soft, pretty blue Columbia tank top that I've ended up wearing all the time. Great experience. I will definitely be back. They have SO much cool gear!

Super cute accessories shop with lots of fun, flirty merchandise for the real girlie girl…read more I remembered this boutique from the brightly painted hot pink exterior. It's eye-catching, for sure. I've been here before and as soon as my eye spotted the fuchsia walls, I made a beeline over to take a quick peek. It was as cute as I remembered it to be from my last trip up here. I found a plethora of cute costume jewelry, very reasonably-priced, several in whimsical designs, with plenty of dainty silver bracelets, necklaces and earrings. Everything was super cheap, too. I picked up a cute necklace (I hadn't packed much jewelry for this particular vacation and could've used a cute necklace or something for the trip) for $12 and was on my way. Elsewhere, I spotted some cute bath and body products, including lotions, soaps, gels and more, including some rather nice-smelling candles, in the middle of the boutique. Again, everything was reasonably-priced and the displays were lovely. Oh, and there were feather boas and frilly things like that, too, but that doesn't float my boat, though I'm sure it would for someone else. The owner waited on me and was super nice, even wrapping up my purchase in tissue paper and adding me to the shop's email rewards/incentive program. I told her we live downstate, but she said that she could ship to any address, no problems. I can't say I have a problem with that. I will definitely be looking forward to checking out the website next.
