Twice is Nice is a woman's-only resale shop in Oscoda. I like wasting time at thrift stores while…read morein new areas. It's a cute little shop with a good selection of clothing, shoes and accessories for ladies. Women can find everything from dresses, jeans and shirts to perfume, shoes and makeup. Clothes are sorted by style and then by size. I love that! There were really nice brands available, not just your average Target or Walmart stuff. Prices were probably half of retail, maybe a little more or less depending. I found a couple cute things. The owner was so friendly. They take credit cards and cash. I would recommend Twice is Nice to anyone from the area or visiting!

I took the time to read all of the posted signage but they didn't take the time to remember to put up their no parking sign. A simple asking to move instead of demanding, or saying sorry for forgetting the sign would have been welcomed. Instead, Don gave me dirty looks. 15 minutes later when we left the store they finally remembered to put up their "no parking donations only" sign.

I'm originally from south eastern Michigan where thrift stores are everywhere and are often…read moremerchandised like a standard department store with thrifty items... The stores up north however are hard to come by... There are not as many and their inventory is lacking due to being in a less populated area... It is funny to see how the stock and type of stuff varies so much in different parts of the state. This thrift store is the best one that I have found in Northern Michigan not only is it extremely spacious... The store itself is extremely organized, and you can tell that the owners and staff take great pride in merchandising their product in a way that is easy to shop and thoughtfully placed. I found it incredible how this business is operating I went today for the first time and it is senior day so the deals are very deep and the line is wrapped around the building! It seems like this building was once a mom and pop shop style department store because there are various rooms that organize each department even still with it being a thrift store this location have less furniture and clothing but all the other items are in great supply. Ifound a few great deals and left knowing that I will be back I highly recommend this store if you are into Thrifting and looking for a gift or even a vintage find.
