My roaches were much worse using this company compared to when I sprayed my own house with Pestie for 1/3 the cost. They kept telling me that it would take time to get it under control because the bugs have to go through their life cycle and its hard to kill the eggs. Well they never got it under control. I went back to spraying my self and its MUCH better after the first spray I did. Further more their exterminators arrived 2-4 hours later than the time frame they told me 2 times in a row. I couldn't get a hold of the office one time and the other time they told me "they would be there very soon" multiple times. After I told them I was no longer interested in their services (I had bought a recurring plan because Jake is an amazing salesman, best part of the whole experience but I wish he was selling something valuable) They sent people to my house 4 more times over the next few weeks. i had to turn them away. Then they sent Tristan while I wasn't home, he sprayed and charged me for it! I called and complained and they kept telling me their supervisor would reach out to me about it. No one ever did. I have never seen a company so disorganized and bad a what they do. They are very nice and do extra things like knock down spiderwebs, but that doesn't make up for the extermination not working, their employees being very late with no communication and them insisting on sending people and charging me after I canceled. read more

We are very happy with their service and the guys they send out are always for the most part professional and respectful. Steve came over today and he was a gentleman and he did our front yard, garage and courtyard. He spoke in a respectful way and made sure he got all the spots done. He also asked whether I was happy with the service today, which I really appreciated. The only thing is if they could email me, call or message me at what time they would be here and on what day that would be much better, so I can make sure I am at home. I don't mind if they do the work outside when I'm not here, but most of the time they dont get to our courtyard, because they need to access it through entering into our house, or inside our garage, because that is almost always closed, so a call would be much appreciated. read more

Their customer service is great and we have had their pest control for two years with no issues! The last company we used was more expensive and absolutely terrible. I watched them from the window as they claimed they were checking the bait stations. Instead the guy literally walked around drinking a Pepsi and poking the ground with a stick! I couldn't believe it. He had no idea I was watching him, but I shouldn't have had to! What a joke. I switched companies that day! Go ahead and make the switch. This is the email i sent them in July - they refused to do anything or acknowledge wrongdoing except keep sending me bills for $78 - I've done everything possible to respectfully request resolution and not to have to write a bad review - but today I received ANOTHER bill and am over it. "My few experience with your field techs has been nothing but wonderful - they were polite, and very efficient. My issue has been from day 1 the communication from your office. The contract was signed (Aug 2019) and pest control started right away and I was waiting to do install of termite stations. I called numerous times...was transferred to a voicemail and left a message...no call back (i did that 2x) - the 3rd time i explained the problem to the woman who answered the phone, she apologized and told me to leave a message on (i think it was Donny) his voicemail and she would follow up and make sure he called back. He did not. Months later i get and email (like 5 months later) that we need to schedule bait install - i called/emailed again...no reply - I was upset and started shopping other pest control options - I DID give ya'll a chance - in this thread i explained the situation again asking for a current quote on termite in May and since i got no follow up - no call, half answers, i emailed on May 20 to cancel my pest control and termite contract - no reply. No pest control has been out here since January ish - Now...on July 22 you email me to collect a payment? I'd already emailed numerous times to cancel. I'm sorry...your office is letting you down and that's too bad - the pest control itself was better with you than Arrow - we see more bugs with them...but i will not return to you due to your lack of customer service. PureDefense Pest Control was recommended to us by our next door neighbor and we are very glad she did. :) They got rid of the pesky little gnats that were coming in from the outside as well as the little creepy crawlers on the inside. So very nice to NOT have a little gnat land on your arm whilst watching tv :) The office personnel is always very friendly and helpful when I've needed to call. I had a bad experience with Pure Defense just in getting a bid to remove squirrels in my attic. I had 4 bidders, not only was it the sloppiest bid, but it was more than DOUBLE the price of all other bidders. First, it was difficult to get them to come out to give me an estimate. Second, upon arrival, he said he needed to come back with a ladder to be able to give a bid. Third, unlike all the other bidders, he did not use a "wheel " to calculate the linear footage in order to provide a more accurate estimate. Finally, the following day, I had to write a text to him asking if he was still interested. He said he had been busy. My estimate was given to me in a simple text stating amounts for the "Exclusion Policy" (Which was all I wanted), then he proceeded to give me estimates for items, such as insulation that I did not even want. How could he get all these estimates accurate without any measurements. I would ABSOLUTELY NOT recommend this company. I worked for these guys for two weeks before being fired without warning. the reason I was given was that I didn't fit it with their "work culture" and how I thought their hour long meetings were a waste of time for our techs and customer. these meetings lasted an hour wich can really mess up your schedule if your route is close to Atlanta. I worked hard in the heat and pollen for 10 hours a day for 10$/hr. With the promise of a pay raise at the end of my training. I was given 306$ for final pay check these people are crazy don't sign on with them they really don't care about their employees. But I will say the employees are top notch and will do anything to give a good service. they charge WAY to much for what they do. They just bush off spider webs, spray the foundation, and throw ant granulated bait around. And that's their premium service. if I sound bitter it's because I am I really gave them my 110% and loved the work And customers I met along the way. But they chose to fire me for a opinion that EVERY employee agrees with. we are technicians working out in all kinds of weather extremes don't waste our time and money keeping us in a dumb meeting with you office people prancing around like idiots trying to get us HYPED for Something that can be put in a short email. the customer who has to wait till 6 in the afternoon for his service definitely doesn't appreciate it. There are much better options out there people don't pick these clowns. read more

I've had my previous pest control company for quite some time. A very common carrier that many neighborhoods come standard with. Wasn't really satisfied but was honestly too lazy to make a switch. PureDefence spent the better part of the day setting up an extensive system to protect my home from both termite and general pest control damage. Since my previous review of PureDefense I have had an email exchange with Tim A the owner of PureDefense. Tim did contact me a couple of days later and apologized for the attitude I described in my previous review. He also offered a free treatment when I moved to my new house in a couple of weeks. Most people do not take the time to admit they made a mistake, I have to praise Tim for reaching out and apologizing. It takes a business owner that wants to maintain a clients business to admit a wrong doing. Truth be told, We were both very stressed that day and our aggravation, with outside issues , created a volitle situation. The service has been incredible in the past including a missed service due to a software migration, which was credited. Due to Tim's genuine concern about my satisfaction with PureDefense I am going to renew my contract once I move, and look forward to a long term relationship with PureDefense. My last post was my first use of this type of application and I learned a lesson. The old saying , let cooler heads prevail, is a fact. I should have not reacted to the situation and posted the negative review, until I had an opportunity to cool down. Give PureDefense a call. You will be happy with the service. read more

I used Pure Defense to get rid of some rats that were in my apartment units. The cost was $1700 plus an additional $150 for quarterly inspection/maintenance. Once the issue with the rats was resolved, I was encouraged by the staff to do a cleanup of the droppings which was going to be an additional charge. The guy (Jeff) said that the droppings were pretty bad and they needed to be cleaned because it could be a hazard to my tenants. He showed me a few pictures and so I agreed to get a quote for the cleanup. I was informed by Jeff that I needed to have his manager come out to give me a quote of how much additional the cleanup would cost. I was not thrilled about having to pay any additional money because I felt like what I had already paid should have been sufficient for cleaning up droppings. But I met with a guy (Donny) who said he was a manager and he gave me a quote, he checked the areas and also advised that he would recommend a cleanup of the droppings. I agreed to pay the additional amount, signed the agreement which spelled out the job that they were supposed to do. However, when it was time for them to complete the work, I kept getting the run around from the staff. Jeff came out to start the job and he said that he needed more equipment and materials and the job was taking longer than he expected so he needed to reschedule. Over a week had passed before I had heard back from anyone and so I reached out to them (Donny and Jeff) to schedule the appointment. An appointment was finally scheduled by Jeff and then he tells that he is checking with upper management because he wanted to make sure that he did the job properly (mind you he had over a week to check with upper management about the job). I continued to reach out a couple of more times to Donny and Jeff get an appointment and I felt like I kept getting excuses about why they couldn't complete the job, someone from the office should be calling me, or they had to talk to upper management, etc. The appointment was finally rescheduled and another guy (Brett) called and said that he was sent out to only do 1/4 of the work that was agreed on and written in the contract. He said that the other two guys (Donny and Jeff) misspoke about how much clean up needed to happen (but both of the other two guys (Donny and Jeff) had physically been there and saw the mess and advised that it needed to be cleaned) and thus he only needed to do one of the three units that were supposed to be done. He hadn't been the main guy that was coming out on a consistent basis but he talked to me as if he was coming out regularly and he knew what the situation was. Brett said that he was also a manager and he has been doing this for over 12 years (however he had not been to my property in a few weeks so he was not aware of the condition of what needed to be cleaned). He was adamant that he was only doing to do the one area in the one unit and that was all (not all of the units that I signed an agreement for). I was extremely frustrated because I had been dealing with this rat issue for a couple of months and I was ready to get it done and move on. I spoke to manager Donny who came out initially and all he did was apologize and said that he would not charge me for the additional clean up. There was no one trying to make this situation right or resolve my issue or fix their wrongdoing. I don't feel like it was handled appropriately especially for someone who has paid them nearly $2000. read more

I've been with them for 3 years now and their customer service is steadily declining. There treatments are good and the bugs stay out, but good luck with getting them to keep an appointment time if you need something besides the exterior of your house treated. SMH. read more
