They did respond to my friend via IG (I don't use IG to communicate with businesses) and thought they'd respond to me via their work email account then but still no response. The instructor arrived a few minutes late the first time I went there (understandable, the weather was really bad and I don't blame her at all for that and would rather people be safe) but she didn't introduce herself and even though I wasn't the only new person there (she asked if anyone was new), she didn't approach any of us mid or after working out just to check in and see how we felt or give tips. It was my first time working out since the pandemic started and I was clearly behind so I would've liked an encouraging word or two. I wasn't expecting one on one training but an instructor acknowledging the new people is pretty normal. Even though this place wasn't for me, I still think it's a nice gym and saw they have a lot of dedicated clients who really love it there. I'm back and forth from the city due to work so maybe I would've stuck with it for another round of classes if I was here full time.

Is this place even open?? I booked a 9:00 a.m. class on their website and got a confirmation text…read morefrom them. When I showed up at 8:45 there was nobody there. Well, no one ever showed up for the class and the place remain locked and closed. No one answers their phone. Don't waste your time with this place.

I've been taking a lot of yoga classes recently, so this has been one on my list to try. I came…read morehere for the Vinyasa yoga one morning. It was a decent class, but there was a lot of talking throughout, so I personally didn't find it that relaxing. I'm also new to yoga in general, but the instructor didn't help me at all when I had the wrong form or I didn't understand a term. It was a cute and clean studio, but the class was very average compared to the other studios I've been going to. I wish I could give 3.5, but I also don't think it was a 4.

This review is for the goat yoga experience here. I was always curious about goat yoga but only saw…read moreplaces all the way out east that had it, until I stumbled upon Buddha Barn which is so closeby to my house! With covid regulations in place, goat yoga was outdoors in the concrete area to the side of the building, on a beautiful September evening. There were some decorations/greenery and tents if anyone preferred shade. Kelly the owner and yoga teacher was inspiring, clear in her yoga instructions, and made sure everyone social distanced and understood mask regulations. I took the name of this place quite literally thinking it was a real barn and figured the goats would live on premises, but Karen graciously shared her farm animals with us by bringing them from out east for the event- she brought about 5 goats and a special guest Muriel a very social sweet alpaca who easily became my favorite and was so soft!! The yoga class itself was about 45 minutes and very gentle- great for beginners but also still a good workout for those experienced. Do not expect your typical peaceful experience when you're lying on your mat and suddenly a goat is looming over you haha but they are just saying hello.. also Bellmore avenue was pretty loud with cars due to rush hour but Kelly made jokes about it which I appreciated. Kelly and Karen left time at the end (well, the beginning too if you arrived early!) for petting time, selfies, and photo ops with the animals which was smart since they know that's why most of the crowd came. Something to note for all goat yoga (not just this location)- but the goats drop little poops and pee throughout the class so be alert with your belongings (luckily it was visible where it was since it was on concrete).. but it was cleaned up quickly and considerately. They have a fenced section that you can keep your belongings (which I did luckily so they wouldn't nibble on my bag) but some people needed their phones by their sides during the class so.. proceed at your own risk! Lol. I hope to be back next season when more outdoor events take place..I know some friends that are already interested in joining me. Thanks Kelly and Karen for a unique experience! :)

Everybody I've experienced from the front desk to the instructors have been wonderful and so welcoming from the first day I popped my head in to check it out. As someone who wasn't working out at all before this I always feel like I'm working so hard and leave every class feeling great . Also I'm getting so much more stretching in then ever before which just has made me feel so much better in general. Highly recommend !

Visit Date: October 21, 2017…read more I came here with my friend for a class. I got a free class because I am a first time pure barre member so I was entitled to get a weekly pass to take classes free for a week. I am a mom of a toddler and I work full time so chances are Saturday's class is the only one I'll get to before the pass expires. I loved my experience here. I can't really afford to pay membership but I can definitely take a class once in awhile for the $25 with my friend so I will probably be popping in once in awhile to take classes when my friend and I both have a chance or if I am able to go to one myself. They have amazingly cute work out clothes and pure barre grip socks for sale but unless you can get something from the sale rack it's a bit pricey. I will probably cave in one day and buy a pair of grip socks when I attend a class. My friend and I checked out the sale rack after the class was over and I bought a shirt that was on sale for $20. It was XS but it ran big and was definitely vanity sized so for my 147 pound body I was happy to fit into an XS something which I sometimes do when I wear lularoe! So I got a free class but pure barre still made almost the price of the class off me because I bought the shirt. The class was amazing the instructor I think her name was Caitlin (I most likely spelled it wrong) was so nice. She corrected my form without making me feel embarrassed. Besides the instructor there were two other pure barre teachers in the class so you were also able to watch them while taking the class. Everyone in the studio was so sweet and friendly. It was definitely a positive environment to work out in. I was expecting people to be a little snobby because pure barre is known to be a rich lady's work out but everyone was pretty nice. I will be back again for classes once in awhile and if I fall into money I'll be buying monthly memberships here I love pure barre! I'm hoping one day I can sign the bar for taking 100 classes! 99 more to go!
