This is Boston's first recreational dispensary. After visiting dispensaries in the past in California, we definitely wanted to check this one out, as well. It's not in the best area but if you grab an Uber/Lyft there and one back you will be fine. They have a great setup where someone outside scans your ID and inside you wait 6 feet apart and they let you in one by one. Plenty of cashiers and it's recommended you know what you want prior to stepping inside. The online menu is updated as they sell things so you'll know what is still available by the time you're assigned to cashier. Prices are steep but hey this is all relatively new to Boston so I get it. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. Watch out for the taxes. So I had a very bad experience at Pure Oasis....very frequent customer although I only deal with certain staff because I'm picky...they were not available I took a chance and encountered Rolando I place my order he brought the wrong product back to me when I told him he got it wrong he stormed away threw the tray of pre rolls on the floor in front of management...and said I'm not waiting on her...wait what I said some choice words and waited for another staff member to assist me and he did. Well they placed the right man at the door. "BIG C" is full of enthusiasm. Polite, social. He checks and scans your ID and then you wait. There are green marks on the ground distancing 6ft. You have to wear a mask. And its that way all the way thru. There are about 5 registers. Today there were 3 employees but everything was being managed well. Didnt take to much time. The establishment its self isn't anything grand. Its my first time at a dispensary in Boston so im not sure what the norm is. The product was displayed out in front. Nothing wrong with it. It just wasn't what I expected. Its a great place for a grab and go. The prices are a lil high but eh! You get what you pay for; you know!? The staff seems cool. Got a hello from everyone. My cashier was Ivan. Cool young fellow. Gave me some pointers and advice on the prerolls and was telling me about some of the laws that are looking to be changed concerning weed. I visited this place because it was supposed to be the 1st recreational recreational facility in the state. This location was closest to the mall we had just left so we stopped by. Parking was a little rough but after circling a block once or twice we got a spot on the side of the building. I didn't. We should have known what to expect by some of the folks outside, but Hey we give everyone a chance. He got inside and the space was quite nice they have an entire room just for merge and a separate area for the dispensary. The 1st guy we met was super nice, professional and friendly. Like. I took a few pictures and moved on to the next room where we were instructed to wait for one of the counterpersons to call us down. The 2 guys working behind the counter glanced at us and continued to carry on their personal conversation, loudly. One guy went in the back and the other reluctantly called us over. We asked for a few items that he was unaware of and I found them on the iPad to order. I guess he didn't believe the price, so he asked for some help from a manager. While he was gone, I found a photocopied credit card on the floor. I turned it in, and I hope it was alerted and handled properly, but I'm not hopeful. My advice.... pay in cash. Drove all the way from the Cape to try this place, its very close to my sisters house. The curbside is easy. Just be aware there really isn't any parking. Bud tender was knowledgeable about what edibles were available and I was able to get 3 different kinds I didn't have a problem with the prices but I also don't smoke so maybe people should enjoy edibles more! I went today and spent 99.99 on flower. FLOWER. The receipt even says packed bud (pics included) however there was ABSOLUTELY NO BUD in the bag! They pulled a bait and switch on us. When you make a purchase they immediately without handing you the product put it into a brown bag and staple the receipt to say have a nice day and send you on your way. You're not supposed to stand there and open your stuff in the store. Now keep that in mind and the FACTS I've spent 99.99 plus 20%tax for what was advertised as bud, flower. Got home opened said product and discovered it was entirely leaf. So we drove all the way back there after speaking to someone on the phone who told us to come back that they wouldn't give the money back but could probably make it right by an exchange. So we drove all the way back, the clerk already knew the problem! His words,"What was there too many leaves?" That's not bud! Then the manager who was there straight up told us there was nothing she could do for us cause we already opened up the product and left the store with it. We would have to wait until Monday to talk to a higher up manger than her. So I just got beat for 100 by them. They showed and described something totally different from what they gave me. I wouldn't smoke this for free. Leaves are not good to smoke. They will make you sick. I'm not the first person they've baited and switched. I personally will not be wasting my time going back there again. Brookline is right around the corner way better deals, better service. So the first time I went there was great but I guess as they get busier, the customer service becomes non existent. I asked for a recommendation and was met with a blank stare and a point towards the iPad. If I wasn't a pot head, I would not have returned.. Update: I've been there a total of 4 times now and have only had a great experience once.. the second time was iffy but the third and fourth time sucked. They closed early and was being super rushy and rude the last time. I'm probably not going back, my anxiety was through the roof dealing with being rushed while I pick and then homeboy gave me the wrong cart! I don't even feel like going back to get my money back. I came in looking for a product that would help with sleep. My experience here was not the best. My tip is to make sure you know exactly how much each product is, and take your time. They do not give refunds even if you take a few steps out of the store and walk back in (They state COVID as the reason but no one wears a mask and the product was barely touched). Apparently my license expired a few days ago and I wasn't let in since I am visiting. However I was told by the person at poor, manage and supervisor that if I had been there before they would have let me in. I was even advised to have someone else go in an buy my products for me. So they are strict about their rules... but suggested I break the law in other ways. Really shady advice to "solve my problem". I have no intention to ask a stranger to go in for me. I will get my temp paper and then conduct business elsewhere. Wasted money on an Uber to have them claim to uphold rules in one breath and hear they are willing to break it two other ways LOL. Rosin is dry sift trim run, turns brown immediately upon hitting a bangers and tastes like poopoo. 80$ for a gram is kind of ridiculous, considering I can go to my friends house down the road and buy an ounce of live hash press for 1000$. Flowers are last years light deps, not grown by the owners but rather "procured" - i.e. they're buying the flower that other growers want to sell (which is usually lower end, as the growers keep the high end for themselves). Nice enough people, and it's great to see a dispensary that isn't staffed with all white people, but the product is just not worth the money and without being able to view the products beforehand I would not recommend that anyone come here. Want to say a huge thank you to pure oasis for being one of the only (if the only?) dispensary open Monday 5/25/20 after the pandemic had caused all dispensaries to close for recreational use months prior.The employees were working so hard, and they were so kind. I'm sure it was incredible stressful for all of them, the lines were overwhelmingly long, and people were being less than understanding. You can't ever get a live person when you call them. It's a shame to drive over there for something that can be handled by phone.

The line was LONG, but it still moved fairly quickly. It helps if you pick out what you want online first and just tell them the name when you walk up. I bought several pre-rolls. The boom stick (I think it's called) was GREAT. The rest of it was good. Will definitely be back. read more

Drove all the way from NYC to see what this place was about particularly because it is a black owned business. Security on the inside of the place was definitely a nice piece of eye candy to look at while on the line. My Budtender, I forget her name but she was the only girl in there today was very knowledgeable and took her time with me since I did have some questions. I got 3 flowers, edibles and some crumble. Omg was I ever happy to see Boston get a recreational shop ...what the hell is up with your prices though . 80$ .5 carts and you want 20% tax to.. Purchased live budder from this facility this week to share with friends while visiting Boston for a couple nights. Drove a bit outside of town to try this dispensary for the first time instead of the inner city ones I am familiar with due to their selection and decent prices for the city. Customer service inside the store was great. My bud tender informed me that they kept all the product in their fridges upright and warned me about product potentially leaking if it turned sideways due to the heat. She even stapled the bag very tight so that the product couldn't tip over. I kept it upright walking to the car and placed it securely upright for the drive home. When I arrived home, the container was still upright and upon opening it, nearly half the product had leaked out. I contacted the dispensary and was told I'd be contacted by a manager shortly. It has now been over 48 hours with no reply. No purpose in driving outside the city to get product if you won't be able to use a lot of it. I expected better customer service after my experience in store but the lack of customer service for faulty product after being specifically guided on how to transport and store the product is unprofessional and is driving this negative review. read more

I gave them 3 stars just because they went through the lengthy process to acquire their recreational license in the state of Massachusetts. Got excited because they were opening in the neighborhood only to realize they were charging more than any other rec dispensary as far as flower. If you are charging those prices, the quality of product should match as well as the bud-tenders knowledge of that product. I really want to support this minority owned business in my neighborhood as much as I do others but they make it really hard. Gonna continue going to other dispensaries as the product is far better as well as price. I wish them the best of luck. read more

I had been going to this place consistently for months, I rush to get there before 9:00 (the time it CLAIMS it closes) and arrived at 8:51. I hustle over to the door, to hear a man yell "go home". I give him a confused look, and he rudely says "go home, we're closed". Without getting mad, I respond "I can't run in and grab something quickly? The website says it closes at 9:00." The man replies "go right ahead to the door, it's closed and locked so goodluck." I had been a loyal customer since september 1st when I moved nearby.
