Let me be expressly clear--the two stars in my review DO NOT reflect 1) cleanliness 2) professionalism of the technician 3) promptness or 4) *immediate* final product. All four of those components are 4-5 stars. The Pure Lash room/rooms I sat in and saw were very, very clean. The technician, Kaitlyn, was such a sweetheart, just the right amount of small talk in order to make the time fly by. I had the lashes up on with a Groupon special (1 full set and 1 refill for a certain price). The session took about an hour, maybe a little less. The immediate look was fantastic. Kaitlyn instructed me on how to care for the lashes (don't get them wet for 24 hours, no oil based products, etc) which was all the same as I had been instructed when I went to another certain "Amazing" lash studio. I followed the directions to a T. I think I even waited closer to 36-48 hours before getting my face wet in order to make sure they'd last longer. Much to my chagrin, however, these lashes started falling out the next morning. Now, at the other location, a little bit of fallout was normal, so I wasn't too alarmed. But it didn't stop! In fact, the lashes fell out so quickly that when it came time to the event that I wanted them for, I had only a handful of lashes per eye. I actually had to use glue-on falsies to get the look I wanted. So, the first set only lasted about a week, week and a half, tops. So, I had to pay $99 out of pocket when it came time to my "refill" (Full set cost - Groupon refill value = $99). I told Kaitlyn about how quickly they fell off, and how disappointed I was that they didn't last as long, and she was very understanding, and tried to figure out why they didn't last longer. I was so hoping that the second set would stay longer, but, alas, it was the same story. Perhaps I have overly wet eyes? Or my eyelashes are too fair/slick for them? Or maybe not enough glue was used? Whatever the cause may be, I'm very disappointed that this product didn't work out for me, because this studio would have been much closer than the "other" studio I used to have a membership to. Also, just a heads up, but the technicians book up VERY quickly. I think that this studio might only have 3-4 women, so low supply, high demand, means you might be left waiting longer than you'd hope for a refill. Hopefully you have better luck than I did, as this is a nice studio. read more

I found them via Groupon and my first set wasn't flattering. Im new to the area so finding your new nail, lash, hair, brow and all around grooming services are challenging. I liked the whole idea about preserving my lashes etc and I thought maybe my first experience was due to my indecisiveness on what I actually wanted. I then went to my original lash tech while at home for Thanksgiving, thinking this would give them an idea of what I liked, but when I called to book my next fill and they wanted to charge me MORE even though I had just had a full set the week before... I didn't like that, but once again, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Called my lash tech and she said You JUST GOT THEM DONE!! So I called to reschedule, and they wanted to charge me even more for a cancellation that was made hours from scheduling but all within 24hrs of the appointment. At this time.. Tried this place through a groupon deal I found. Of course having to do with my face and in particular my eyelashes I did research before booking. All the reviews are outstanding. You can also book online which I recommend since if you call chances are no one will answer as.they are probably working on someone. The eyelashes are great, however I would suggest booking refills the sooner the better because they get booked. I believe there are 3 ladies that rotate using 2 small rooms inside a spa. read more

My first visit I had a full set lash extensions done. I woke up the next morning and most of the lashes had fallen off on one eye. I called and asked for a credit toward other services since I wasn't happy with the performance of the extensions. The owner wanted me to pay to have them removed or they would repair them. But I didn't want to have them"repaired" when I couldn't be sure they would stay on any longer. She was not very open to a satisfied customer or a returning one. Don't waste your money. (Update) so while trying to figure out a solution with this company they made it very clear that money is the only thing that they are after after talking to the manager about my situation and seeing that other similar things have happened they refuse to acknowledge that they might have an employee coercing people into signing contracts and telling them things that aren't in the contract like was done to me. Manager hung up the phone because she couldn't handle having a hard conversation and couldn't handle talking to someone. How professional you hang up on your customers because you just can't take it?) This place is an absolute joke do not sign a contract here. I was very misled by the girl who got me to sign a contract and told rates would be different and told I could cancel the month-to-month policy at any time as long as there's 15 days before, and I would have no hassle no problems. Now the manager is saying that I have to at least pay for the first month of membership without canceling which is not what I was told by the other employee and the manager is trying to act like this never happens but yet there are multiple reviews here stating the same thing as me. I moved out of state and I have been repetitively getting charges on my card when I only went in there and got lashes one time. I was told since I had already paid for the lashes I came in for that the next membership coming up would only be $99 a month but if I needed to cancel I could do so without any fees as long as it was before 15 days. And now the manager is trying to get me to pay over $200 which I will not be doing , for services I didn't get, and is refusing to close my account. I know I was misled by an employee and distracted from the terms of the contract and was got to sign based off the verbal information she was giving me. The manager is trying to state said employee wouldn't do that but it's quite clear that this is something they do often! I developed a severe reaction each time I was having my lashes put on. The first couple of times, I thought it was allergies and ended up in the doctors office having to take medication for severe allergies. Then I started realizing that it was always the same time that I had my lashes put on. I mentioned this to the staff and they suggested that I try a sensitive formula. They did not recommend any kind of skin testing to check for allergies. I had a severe reaction, the worst that I have ever had to the sensitive formula. I had to go to an urgent care center remove my lashes immediately and suffered with swollen eyes for about a week. I took pictures and shared them with the staff. I asked to see the lash adhesive that they are using. There are no ingredients on the lash adhesive. It is made in Korea. I took a picture of it and tried to Google what was in the last adhesive, with no information on line. I have tried to talk to their management on numerous occasions with no response. You would think if someone had a severe allergy reaction to their adhesive they would be interested in speaking with that person. Their only response is that I would need to continue to pay my monthly service contract until it runs out, about three months. I would never recommend this lash studio to anyone. I came here expecting great service and I was completely disappointed. I came yesterday (Saturday) to get my full set, and try them out . I went in asking for a long full look but not overly exaggerated long and left with the same length of my natural eyelash with a curl at the end . As soon as I got up from chair I immediately told her they were to short . And all she said was "ohno" and again 3 lashes came off just by getting up . I came to check out and i told her there to i told her they were to shorr . She said "well you can call within the next three days and we can do some adjustments and add some length " I told her to put me in for the next day "Sunday " .well they're closed Sundays so she said it would've had to be till Monday at the Woodlands location . I told her I work on the otherside of town everyday and that's why I had came in today to get them done so I would have to look. I went to my car got a close mirror and realized there 6 lashes on my left eye missing extensions I go back inside and I tell her and show her , she said " oh I definitely see it now that youre showing me ." She says "well Ill write some notes here on your appointment and call us Monday so we can get you in withing 3 days ." I obviously can't adjust my work schedule just to come fix what they did wrong. I go home very disappointed and dissatisfied. I make sure not to wet my lashes not to touch them or anything because I have gotten lashes more than 8x so I know the dos and donts . Well here comes Sunday , my right eye is missing the whole beginning part of my eye and my left eye is missing the end part of my eye . I wouldn't have mind to pay more for my lashes to come out good I'm so upset this is the worst place I've ever gone to . Now I have to go to another place and get them taken off and done over because i can't walk around with half of my eyes done . I have to pay more money just so I can fix this . Bought a Groupon. First appointment went well - lashes were beautiful. Groupon included a refill appointment but when I called to confirm my refill they told me I had missed my second appointment and they could not reschedule.. They stated that I had changed my second appointment, even though the refill appointment they said I scheduled occurred while we were on vacation! When I asked why that change was never confirmed through email they said their system doesn't confirm changes, however it "records every keystroke from the client end" so they knew it had been my fault! I asked to speak to the manager but she was busy, and no surprise I never heard back from her. My guess is that they sold more Groupons than they expected and just couldn't handle the volume but I certainly wouldn't have purchased the package without the refill. I had decided to purchase a monthly membership, so they lost a good chunk of business, but maybe they are so busy they don't care.
