I cancelled my membership on 1/30 (the contract states you must give a 30 day notice- which I did and have the signed cancellation form to prove it) and my last $99 membership fee was to take place on 2/1. When I noticed the $99 membership had again charged to my card on 3/1, I figured it was a mistake and called the salon to rectify. I have been given the runaround ever since. "Can you send a screenshot of the charge? I'll have the owner Martie call you when she gets in today." Sent screenshot, no call. Couple days later, I follow up... "The owner will call you after her next appointment." No call. Again. I've texted and called many times trying to get this incorrect charge refunded to no avail. It's now clear to me that the owner has no intention of returning my phone call or fixing this fraudulent charge. I went ahead and disputed the charge with Amex who will issue a chargeback to this business (I can only imagine the chargeback rate is through the roof at this establishment). I also blocked my card from Pure Lash attempting to "mistakenly" charge another $99 fee in the future. It's truly a shame a small business owner is choosing to behave in this manner when she has some wonderful ladies working for her. My lash tech, Sade is fantastic and so talented. I'd gladly follow her to any other establishment but sadly, I can't continue to support this business nor its owner. I HIGHLY recommend you look elsewhere for your lash needs or at the very least - pay cash. read more

I went here for a set of natural lashes. Number 10 to be exact. I'm not sure what kind of glue they use because my eyes have been itchy and teary since I went to them. I've never had problem with lash extensions before. My eyes itch so much it's hard to sleep. I will need to get them removed. read more

This has to be the worst service I've ever experienced in my life. I had been going here every month to get my lashes done since August 2023. I was convinced to join a month to month membership in October for $99 since I had been consistently going to Pure Lash monthly. My favorite lash tech got another opportunity in January 2024, so she was only available two days out of the week. My work schedule varies every week and sometimes I don't know when I work until a week before. I had no choice but to book with Rachel for the month of January and that's when everything went downhill. My lashes looked terrible, I told Rachael I'd only tip her $5, but I received a notification from my bank that $10 was taken out instead. I told my former lash tech. I received a phone call from the store that they would accommodate me by letting my original lash tech fix my lashes. When I called again, I received a text saying spots weren't available til the end of January. I told them I would like to cancel and they said I'd have to come in. My mom, who recommended me to the studio, canceled my membership on my behalf. She was there to cancel her membership (that she had for three years) as well because her service was also trash. I received a text on January 10, 2024 saying that my mom canceled my membership and I received an email confirmation of my membership cancellation. However, this morning, on February 15, 2024, I was still charged $99. I called the studio and left a voicemail. No response. Now I'm disputing with my bank. Do not get your Eyelashes done here! The owner Marti could care less if you like your eyelashes or how long you have been a long standing client of hers or her business. I had been a client of Brandi, a former Lash technician before leaving Pure Lash. Then Marti the owner became my Lash technician. For over 3 years I have been going to Pure Las . In October of 2023 I began complaining how my Lash Extensions were all of sudden shedding a lot more than normal. I left messages she never returned and I also complained about my card being ran a total of 7 times (luckily it was my cash app card). I went to another Technician there, same problem. Lash Technician said she was going to get new better Lash glue that would make Las extensions last longer ? Three years the same washing without any prior issues. I know how to wash my lashes. I even tried the lash wash they sold at Pure Lash and worst results. Now I'm pissed because Marti the owner and my Lash technician never called me at all and I've been coming to her studios and supporting her business for over 3 years and you can't call me? Blowing me off? Ok so I don't come back December. Once I finally get a hold of Marti on the phone after a charge my account $99 membership fee . Our conversation only consist of being told you're going to buy glue that last longer, it wasn't going to be in for a couple of days and you would do Lash maintenance when the Lash glue does come in. So you do know that your Lash glue is old and not sustaining clients Lash Extensions? Never do you mention anything about owing for December. You only said I been gone a month so you're going to need a full set which is what you get with the membership (fullest or two refills), Your membership is supposed to be. 2 free refills a month. For several months (I only have been receiving 1 free refill). You refused to render service and you did not give me back my money you owe me for January . I brought my daughters to you to support your business too. And that's how you treat your long lasting clients and believe to stay in business? And have the audacity to tell me,"there's always something with me." read more

This is my second review of this place. I am part of a group on Facebook where women offer services to each other and recommend them. I was recommended to come back here by numerous people.. I had been here 2 years ago and had a bad experience but thought I'd try again. My lashes look good.. but what was charged was outrageous! If you don't have a membership you will pay double. Beware. She knew I was only in town for 1 more week before I moved and instead of offering any type of deal she just took my money no big deal. This will be the most expensive set of lashes I have received in 10 years. $225 and on top your expected to leave a tip. read more

Yesterday I went to Pure Lash Studio in Shenandoah, for my first ever eyelash appointment. I was seen by Brigett Abramski, who was so kind, accommodating and informative. This being my first time, she went over everything with me from what was going to take place, to ensuring I was well versed on the aftercare. The appointment went by faster than I anticipated, and the end result is absolutely stunning. I am legit, obsessed! Brigett placed my lashes beautifully! They're so full, yet natural looking and frame my eyes SO well (and I LOVE the pops subtle pink she added in to match my hair). I have already gotten so many compliments! I honestly cannot say enough good things about my experience here. I highly recommend Pure Lash, everyone was so kind and helpful from the front desk, to my wonderful esthetician, Brigett. read more

This is my first one star review ever, I really tried to not write one but after many issues and no resolution I really have to. - I signed a contract the same day after my first service, it made sense as it would "save you money." I opted for the volume lashes at 149$ a month for two refills. - The first issue was that the glue they were using was terrible. The lashes were falling like crazy. I had experience with lashes for years, so I knew how to take care of them and this was not normal. Each tech had their own reasoning behind it, one actually said that the glue was not left in a controlled temperature place and that was the reason it was not lasting. - MALPRACTICE *** the techs were clumping 20 lashes on one of mine. For 4d volume, there should never be more than 4 attached to a natural lash. They ruined my lashes. My last application was on January. I contacted the owner on April 3rd and told her I needed to cancel my contract, which was ending in May, and that I was ok with paying until the end of the contract. She said ok and that I could use the money towards tans. Great. Except not really. Please note that they require you to go in the office to cancel your contract. I requested the cancellation by phone and then by email directly with the owner in March, this is during COVID shutdown, and had communicated to her staff that I could not risk exposure as I help take care of my grandmother who has stage 4 cancer. I have not and did not go in for a tan or any lash services since January. This lady has continued to bill me up until September - that's an additional $600 after the contract. This has got to be a glitch! I want to give them the benefit of the doubt. The staff said Martie would call me back but she hasn't. I also sent her an email and have gotten no reply. I honestly just want this to be over, losing my lashes was really depressing and it's taken me months and lots of treatments to get them back to normal. I didn't share my experience before as the techs are all contracted and paid hourly - they really can care less about keeping your lashes healthy. But it is the owners responsibility to take care of the client. I really hope they do the right thing. read more

First timer for the Lash experience.... the place was nice, neat, great customer service. If you have ever experienced Europe's Wax, then you'll understand that they are sisters. I don't think I'll try lashes again, the price of $140 is a lot in my opinion. However I do understand paying for the product and time of a very labor intensive application process. I would recommend to anyone looking for a lash studio, to give them a try. If your a first timer, give them a try and pay the money. In a few days you'll know if this beauty regiment is for your wallet or not. read more

DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THIS COMPANY! I have been fighting with them for months to stop them from repeatedly charging my card. I went to them ONE TIME. They asked me to join a club. I was new to the area, the young lady did a nice job, and I felt the terms were fair, so I agreed. They TEXTED me later and said the young lady that sold me the subscription had misspoken and the rate would be different. They wanted additional money. I told them I don't agree to the change in terms. They refused to stop charging my credit card and said I would be held to a 6 month agreement. I asked them to send me there policy and any formal cancellation, via email, as I was working out of state for a few weeks. They refuse to cancel via email. I then stated my husband would come after work. They refused to allow him also. I reiterated I was OUT OF STATE. They refused to cancel my subscription. I only received lash service one time and have been charged $273. THIS IS SUMMATION, IT GETS WORSE! read more

I was hesitant about this place after reading reviews... but I tried it anyway after speaking with the front desk lady. My technician was kaitlyn and she was a DOLL! My lashes looked incredible when she was done and they didn't take as long as I thought to get out on. I was so impressed with the cleanliness and kaitlyn that I made my refill appointment that same day. So far, I'm 5 days in and have only lost a few. They still look fresh and fill! Super impressed. I'll update this review after I make it to my "fill" date :) Update: I've made it 8 days with lashes. Carefully taking care of them.... and have lost a majority of my left eye lashes right eye still is ok.... soooo my recommendation is that they don't last a full two weeks before the recommended fill. But if you could go every 10-12 days, they are great! read more

I bought a Groupon for this place for a full set of eyelash extensions. After they did my lashes they proceeded to charge me another $85 for a full set. Once she realized the mistake she said she would email management to refund the $85. Long story short it's been over 2 weeks and no refund has happened. I have emailed, called and even went in person. The sad thing is the owner is aware of the problem and they have to email her every morning to remind her yet nothing has been resolved. Very poor ownership. On top of that the lashes were cheap synthetic material, not mink like what I purchased. Do not go here, there are much better eyelash studios locally. read more

They do an excellent job here. I was seeing Kiara and now because of my schedule I see Courtney. I started coming here December 2016 after going to some other lash studios I feel like they are the best in the area. I did have one issue in which I was dissatisfied but Martie took care of it immediately. No one is perfect 100% of the time, but good customer service and taking care of the client is what they are about. I recommend them to everyone but they are very popular and book up fast, and don't miss your appointment or you get charged a fee. Your best bet and best deal is to do a membership and then have your appointment every two weeks same time. read more

Recently had a very bad experience here. Booked eyelash extensions and a spray tan. The lashes looked pretty nonexistent in the car on the way home. I had never had them before so I did not know what to expect. Within a few hours they started to fall out in spots.. I could also not see any color from the spray tan (even within the next 6 hours).) When I called to complain they said I needed to come back in for an evaluation. Long story short, they did not want to respray me out of fear "of turning me orange", so no tan for me after paying and tipping for it. They did redo my lashes (a total of 3 hours spent there not including drive time and the frustration of trying to communicate with them). The second technician did a good job. I subsequently learned the original person was brand new; obviously lacked experience and training. My problem with these people is not only that they have no qualms with hiring and using unskilled technicians and letting you waste your money. But I also experienced a complete lack of customer service/ respect from the owner. I left 3 separate messages because I wanted to give her feedback and ask for a partial refund (spray tan, tip) she never bothered to return my calls. Shame on her. Unless you already have someone here that you trust and know their work, I would not go to this studio. Even if you have a good relationship with a technician and then experience any problems, everyone that works there will tell you that they are not authorized to deal with it and they have to contact the owner. And she seems to never want to deal with her business. read more

Overall ok. My issue is pricing. I asked 1. Do you refill behind another artist, 2. What is the price for a refill. Answers 1. Yes 2. $65 for refills. Time for check out refill is $99 and they are unsure why I was quoted that price. That amount is for a basic fill. Communication is essential. I guess I deserve that for cheating on the person I've gone to for 2 years now. I didn't fill Like driving to Vintage park after moving close to area. Well Wow Lashes is totally worth the drive. I was a sceptic about lashes until I went to Kaitlyn at Pure Lash! I am a 45+ year old woman whose lashes and eyes looked very tired without a lot of help from makeup. With my lashes, I now feel confident about going out without any makeup at all. I am complemented daily on them and I recommend Kaitlyn to everyone who asks. She made me feel very comfortable and the process was stress-free! I can't imagine not having Kaitlyn do them on a regular basis now! read more

I love this place, though the far side of the woodlands (closer to Conroe) is a bit of a haul for me -- I make it out there once every three weeks for my favorite technician Kiera. Kiera knows me so well, I have a particular brand (Emily Stores) and shape of lash (J) that she presses a little more flat just for me cuz that's how I like it. I have a particular glue, particular application style (flared with an assortment of 3-4 lash lengths the lashes shorter until past the middle of the pupil) and i'm always in good hands with Kiera. (I'm also a big fan of Jessica) Not only that Kiera's such a great technician I always enjoy my time laughing with her. I'm a huge fan of the Siberian Mink lashes and this place uses the Delah Antoinette sensitive glue (if you let them know you're sensitive) which is the best I've ever tried on the market. It's thinner, dries faster, has less fumes, and retains lashes better than any other sensitive glue I've used yet (and I've tried at least six glues four of which I was assured were of the highest medical grade and rarely or 'never' cause sensitivity). Lead time for an appointment is generally a week. It's easy to reach the front desk and they're proactive and courteous. There reason I docked a star, there was a time when the staff changed their sensitive glue without letting me know. The new product was terrible - it was thicker and dried slower, the fumes were higher, the lashes fell out at seven days vs 21 and left the glue behind. I had no idea what happened. All the sudden I was having high glue reactions, and lashes lasting 1 vs 3 weeks. The extra glue was building up on my lashes making it look fake and leading to new lashes growing in shorter. Management misunderstood my request to resume use of the good glue, for a health issue (the problems were a sensitivity and retention based on the brand of glue) and for a time was denying me service telling me my body had changed and was responsible for the sudden lash loss, glue build up, and sensitivity issues -- and they didn't want to assume the risk of keeping me as a customer. We came to an agreement though and they've ordered my favorite product ever since. I had the old product removed and started with a new full set using my favorite glue and the results were fabulous once more. Unfortunately I had to pay for the removal and the full set, but they did discount me one of the two refills with the product that didn't work well for me. They're even nice enough when I told them I don't want to pay for two refills a month because I only need 3 week refills, they worked out a custom membership plan for me which was great!!!!! read more

Ive been getting lash extensions regularly for 2 years. I am very picky, but decided to try this place because of a special they were running on Groupon. I scheduled and appointment with a random technician that was available for my timeframe. I really hit the jackpot! Kiara was amazing and my lashes are PERFECT. I rarely give that kind of accreditation to anyone. The facility was very clean and Kiara was very patient as we discussed the look I wanted with my lashes. Best place in the Woodlands, hands down. If I could give a negative star... I would. I've requested Martie call me multiple times, and still no call. I recently purchased a Groupon for $115 for a full-set and refill. I made an appointment and upon my arrival the receptionist redeems my coupon Groupon when I was complete with my appointment after services were rendered they told me that I owed an additional $57 they said because I've used a Groupon in the last year but I need to pay full price but never told me that upon arrival so I paid the additional $57 because the manager told me that included the refill I just tried to make an appointment for a refill and they told me it would be another $65 because Groupon took 55% of their earnings. So I've paid over $200 when I could go to another studio 400 this place is a rip off read more

Just discovered I've been charged the past two months after they shut down for COVID (May June 2020). Attempted to contact and explain that out of discomfort and needing to protect my pediatric patients I would not be coming back anytime soon and did NOT know they'd continue to charge. Asked for a refund and to freeze my account to which they said NO to the refund. That's $280 they get to pocket. I'm disappointed at their lack of understanding. This is a very dishonest sneaky business. I was a customer for 2 years. Back in April I called and emailed that I did not want to come in and expose myself to potential covid partly because my daughter was pregnant. My last communication with them I told them I would let them know when I wanted to re start my membership. Well come to find out they did not bill for 2 months but then started billing again in June. Only way I found out is because I received an email recently telling me my credit card was denied and also added $25 fee! I had cancelled my card due to other fraudulent charges. Now I'm told I had to sign a contract to cancel. That is BS. I've been charged $100 for the past 8 months and made no appointments! Who in their right mind would continue to keep a membership that is not used? I never received an email or call or anything that they had decided to start my membership back. These are fraudulent charges and I plan to do all that I can to get the word out about this dishonest business who steals your money in tricky ways. Awful to take advantage of customers like that.
