I cancelled my membership on 1/30 (the contract states you must give a 30 day notice- which I did and have the signed cancellation form to prove it) and my last $99 membership fee was to take place on 2/1. When I noticed the $99 membership had again charged to my card on 3/1, I figured it was a mistake and called the salon to rectify. I have been given the runaround ever since. "Can you send a screenshot of the charge? I'll have the owner Martie call you when she gets in today." Sent screenshot, no call. Couple days later, I follow up... "The owner will call you after her next appointment." No call. Again. I've texted and called many times trying to get this incorrect charge refunded to no avail. It's now clear to me that the owner has no intention of returning my phone call or fixing this fraudulent charge. I went ahead and disputed the charge with Amex who will issue a chargeback to this business (I can only imagine the chargeback rate is through the roof at this establishment). I also blocked my card from Pure Lash attempting to "mistakenly" charge another $99 fee in the future. It's truly a shame a small business owner is choosing to behave in this manner when she has some wonderful ladies working for her. My lash tech, Sade is fantastic and so talented. I'd gladly follow her to any other establishment but sadly, I can't continue to support this business nor its owner. This has to be the worst service I've ever experienced in my life. I had been going here every month to get my lashes done since August 2023. I was convinced to join a month to month membership in October for $99 since I had been consistently going to Pure Lash monthly. My favorite lash tech got another opportunity in January 2024, so she was only available two days out of the week. My work schedule varies every week and sometimes I don't know when I work until a week before. I had no choice but to book with Rachel for the month of January and that's when everything went downhill. My lashes looked terrible, I told Rachael I'd only tip her $5, but I received a notification from my bank that $10 was taken out instead. I told my former lash tech. I received a phone call from the store that they would accommodate me by letting my original lash tech fix my lashes. When I called again, I received a text saying spots weren't available til the end of January. I told them I would like to cancel and they said I'd have to come in. My mom, who recommended me to the studio, canceled my membership on my behalf. She was there to cancel her membership (that she had for three years) as well because her service was also trash. I received a text on January 10, 2024 saying that my mom canceled my membership and I received an email confirmation of my membership cancellation. However, this morning, on February 15, 2024, I was still charged $99. I called the studio and left a voicemail. No response. Now I'm disputing with my bank. Do not get your Eyelashes done here! The owner Marti could care less if you like your eyelashes or how long you have been a long standing client of hers or her business. I had been a client of Brandi, a former Lash technician before leaving Pure Lash. Then Marti the owner became my Lash technician. For over 3 years I have been going to Pure Las . In October of 2023 I began complaining how my Lash Extensions were all of sudden shedding a lot more than normal. I left messages she never returned and I also complained about my card being ran a total of 7 times (luckily it was my cash app card). I went to another Technician there, same problem. Lash Technician said she was going to get new better Lash glue that would make Las extensions last longer ? Three years the same washing without any prior issues. I know how to wash my lashes. This is my first one star review ever, I really tried to not write one but after many issues and no resolution I really have to. - I signed a contract the same day after my first service, it made sense as it would "save you money." I opted for the volume lashes at 149$ a month for two refills. - The first issue was that the glue they were using was terrible. The lashes were falling like crazy. I had experience with lashes for years, so I knew how to take care of them and this was not normal. Each tech had their own reasoning behind it, one actually said that the glue was not left in a controlled temperature place and that was the reason it was not lasting. - MALPRACTICE *** the techs were clumping 20 lashes on one of mine. For 4d volume, there should never be more than 4 attached to a natural lash. They ruined my lashes. My last application was on January. I contacted the owner on April 3rd and told her I needed to cancel my contract, which was ending in May, and that I was ok with paying until the end of the contract. She said ok and that I could use the money towards tans. Great. Except not really. Please note that they require you to go in the office to cancel your contract. I requested the cancellation by phone and then by email directly with the owner in March, this is during COVID shutdown, and had communicated to her staff that I could not risk exposure as I help take care of my grandmother who has stage 4 cancer. I have not and did not go in for a tan or any lash services since January. This lady has continued to bill me up until September - that's an additional $600 after the contract. This has got to be a glitch! I want to give them the benefit of the doubt. The staff said Martie would call me back but she hasn't. I also sent her an email and have gotten no reply. I honestly just want this to be over, losing my lashes was really depressing and it's taken me months and lots of treatments to get them back to normal. I didn't share my experience before as the techs are all contracted and paid hourly - they really can care less about keeping your lashes healthy. I was hesitant about this place after reading reviews... but I tried it anyway after speaking with the front desk lady. My technician was kaitlyn and she was a DOLL! My lashes looked incredible when she was done and they didn't take as long as I thought to get out on. I was so impressed with the cleanliness and kaitlyn that I made my refill appointment that same day. So far, I'm 5 days in and have only lost a few. They still look fresh and fill! Super impressed. I'll update this review after I make it to my "fill" date :) Update: I've made it 8 days with lashes. Carefully taking care of them.... and have lost a majority of my left eye lashes right eye still is ok.... soooo my recommendation is that they don't last a full two weeks before the recommended fill. I bought a Groupon for this place for a full set of eyelash extensions. After they did my lashes they proceeded to charge me another $85 for a full set. Once she realized the mistake she said she would email management to refund the $85. Long story short it's been over 2 weeks and no refund has happened. I have emailed, called and even went in person. The sad thing is the owner is aware of the problem and they have to email her every morning to remind her yet nothing has been resolved. Very poor ownership. On top of that the lashes were cheap synthetic material, not mink like what I purchased. Do not go here, there are much better eyelash studios locally. read more

They do an excellent job here. I was seeing Kiara and now because of my schedule I see Courtney. I started coming here December 2016 after going to some other lash studios I feel like they are the best in the area. I did have one issue in which I was dissatisfied but Martie took care of it immediately. No one is perfect 100% of the time, but good customer service and taking care of the client is what they are about. I recommend them to everyone but they are very popular and book up fast, and don't miss your appointment or you get charged a fee. Recently had a very bad experience here. Booked eyelash extensions and a spray tan. The lashes looked pretty nonexistent in the car on the way home. I had never had them before so I did not know what to expect. Within a few hours they started to fall out in spots.. I could also not see any color from the spray tan (even within the next 6 hours).) When I called to complain they said I needed to come back in for an evaluation. Long story short, they did not want to respray me out of fear "of turning me orange", so no tan for me after paying and tipping for it. They did redo my lashes (a total of 3 hours spent there not including drive time and the frustration of trying to communicate with them). The second technician did a good job. I subsequently learned the original person was brand new; obviously lacked experience and training. My problem with these people is not only that they have no qualms with hiring and using unskilled technicians and letting you waste your money. But I also experienced a complete lack of customer service/ respect from the owner. I left 3 separate messages because I wanted to give her feedback and ask for a partial refund (spray tan, tip) she never bothered to return my calls. Shame on her. Unless you already have someone here that you trust and know their work, I would not go to this studio. Even if you have a good relationship with a technician and then experience any problems, everyone that works there will tell you that they are not authorized to deal with it and they have to contact the owner. I love this place, though the far side of the woodlands (closer to Conroe) is a bit of a haul for me -- I make it out there once every three weeks for my favorite technician Kiera. Kiera knows me so well, I have a particular brand (Emily Stores) and shape of lash (J) that she presses a little more flat just for me cuz that's how I like it. I have a particular glue, particular application style (flared with an assortment of 3-4 lash lengths the lashes shorter until past the middle of the pupil) and i'm always in good hands with Kiera. (I'm also a big fan of Jessica) Not only that Kiera's such a great technician I always enjoy my time laughing with her. I'm a huge fan of the Siberian Mink lashes and this place uses the Delah Antoinette sensitive glue (if you let them know you're sensitive) which is the best I've ever tried on the market. It's thinner, dries faster, has less fumes, and retains lashes better than any other sensitive glue I've used yet (and I've tried at least six glues four of which I was assured were of the highest medical grade and rarely or 'never' cause sensitivity). Lead time for an appointment is generally a week. It's easy to reach the front desk and they're proactive and courteous. There reason I docked a star, there was a time when the staff changed their sensitive glue without letting me know. The new product was terrible - it was thicker and dried slower, the fumes were higher, the lashes fell out at seven days vs 21 and left the glue behind. I had no idea what happened. All the sudden I was having high glue reactions, and lashes lasting 1 vs 3 weeks. The extra glue was building up on my lashes making it look fake and leading to new lashes growing in shorter. Management misunderstood my request to resume use of the good glue, for a health issue (the problems were a sensitivity and retention based on the brand of glue) and for a time was denying me service telling me my body had changed and was responsible for the sudden lash loss, glue build up, and sensitivity issues -- and they didn't want to assume the risk of keeping me as a customer. We came to an agreement though and they've ordered my favorite product ever since. I had the old product removed and started with a new full set using my favorite glue and the results were fabulous once more. Unfortunately I had to pay for the removal and the full set, but they did discount me one of the two refills with the product that didn't work well for me. They're even nice enough when I told them I don't want to pay for two refills a month because I only need 3 week refills, they worked out a custom membership plan for me which was great!!!!! read more

Just discovered I've been charged the past two months after they shut down for COVID (May June 2020). Attempted to contact and explain that out of discomfort and needing to protect my pediatric patients I would not be coming back anytime soon and did NOT know they'd continue to charge. Asked for a refund and to freeze my account to which they said NO to the refund. That's $280 they get to pocket. I'm disappointed at their lack of understanding. Other facilities I have subscriptions to have stated they wouldn't charge clients until they feel safe to return. As it should be. Way to mess with my livelihood. I was never once contacted. What a way to do business. I have left messages and no return Call. I don't know how they got my social either. Back in April I called and emailed that I did not want to come in and expose myself to potential covid partly because my daughter was pregnant. Only way I found out is because I received an email recently telling me my credit card was denied and also added $25 fee! I had cancelled my card due to other fraudulent charges.
