I always like to get blowouts, and my hair is very thick and (4c) curly naturally, and not to mention I've always been very tender head, so this has always been a struggle for me. But the best experience I've had so far getting my hair done has been at this salon, and I've actually managed to sit through it without wanting to die--so major points. I also ruined my nails that morning before my appointment, and I figured to try getting acrylics for the first time since it was Valentine's Day--and I have to say I loved my nails! The nail artist even added some little hearts onto them and they were so cute! I might have to start getting my nails done more often, so when I do I know who I'll want to go to! :D

I basically stalked my stylist to her location since I love the way she cuts my hair and she parted ways with my the previous place I used to go. There's also parking in front of the building but that usually is pretty free.

The tech told me that I will lose five lashes a day ( should have left immediately after hearing that) , she didn't seal them afterwards and told me she would not ( my fault again). So I did not go back did not call back. Figured it was my dumb choice to allow the tech to do this to me. When she finished I didn't have a graduate look, the lashes started mostly in the center of my eyes and I asked for those to be filled, instead she took some out she said to balance. Shame on me but not a fool to go back. So I really paid $200 she wanted $225, so I got a slight discount for my lashes to look cute for that one day.

I will die, be born again, die again and be born again before I ever step foot here again. I showed up on time for my 5:20 appointment. I sat there. I waited. And I waited. And while I sat there, trying to hold on to a shred of patience (I am trying to turn over a new leaf) I watched one of their employees take a full, leisurely lunch break as if no one was waiting. She moved with the urgency of a snail on Ambien. No rush. No apology. Not even a flicker of awareness that there was a literal line of people waiting to be served. 6:15 rolls around. That's nearly an hour of my life I will never get back. And when she finally decided to start working again, she called someone else. Someone whose appointment was after mine. When I spoke up--because clearly, the concept of a schedule here is a joke--she looked at me like I was inconveniencing her. No apology. No accountability. No attempt to make it right. Let me be crystal clear: this place does not care about you. They do not care about your time, your money, or your existence. You'd be better off shaving at home. Or better yet, putting a strip of packaging tape in between your cheeks and pulling. Or going to Ugo Artistry in Mallard Creek-they're amazing!

I booked an appointment for nails and feet with a design. My technician, Kat, took a photo of the design I wanted and started the service. I was very excited about the job she was doing, however, near the end, I noticed one nail on each hand was missing a detail, and when I politely pointed it out, she said she couldn't finish it because she was running behind, adding that other clients had already been waiting. I left feeling the service was considered good enough even though it wasn't complete. A more customer-focused solution could have been offering a quick touch up later that day or the next morning. Two days later, the polish began to chip, and I didn't feel comfortable returning. I really enjoyed my experience with other technicians there previously and I'm sad that I won't be returning due to this experience which left me upset and disappointed.
