Excellent food and service, great indoor and outdoor seating. My only beef with this place is that they seem to up charge for everything and don't include sides with their sandwiches.

Really nice, quaint place. Friendly people and good food. Everything is made fresh throughout the day. A great place to stop for a quick meal.

Very, very cute burger stop in Lexington. Had a veggie burger and a breakfast burrito (all day breakfast!) and both were delicious. Hardworking young staff is friendly and capable. Might be on the expensive side if you just wanted a bite to go, but worth a sit-down meal in their sunny and welcoming dining room. Great ambiance, would stop by all the time if I were local!

Great fun atmosphere and wonderful service. Ask for Sarah, she was the best and so helpful. Food was fresh and great flavors. Best fries ever. Will certainly come back!

My husband and I loved our experience at Pure Eats! The cinnamon sugar donuts are amazing, the service was excellent, and our meals were delicious

Fun place to eat with good food! However, the prices are a bit high for basic burgers, fries/onion rings, and shakes. The buns and sweet potato fries are delicious. The patties themselves are just okay and the shakes are a little thin and melt quickly.

the food is excellent! the servers are friendly and efficient. Overall one of the best breakfast places we have been to... p.s the cinnamon raisin bagel is a must try

A very small over cooked terrible burger

Pure Eats is known to be a staple but this place has only disappointed me since moving back home and eating there again. First off the line up to the counter was very awkward and the employees seemed very annoyed I wanted to take my time looking at the menu. Mostly because everything that should just come on a burger or a hotdog is all up charged. I ordered a burger with cheese and fries and it cost me almost $15 which if the burger was any good or a decent size maybe I would be happier with it. My burger paddy was very small way over cooked and the bun was hard and dry. The only good thing we're the fries. Which I had to pay almost $5 bucks for. And the bag had barely any fries in it. The atmosphere in there is so stuffy and you feel like you're eating in a little kids playroom. Overall terrible place the breakfast I've had before as well it was so bad. Worst bagel that they bought probably frozen and same for the biscuits. Don't eat here they try to say the local beef is what is pure but it's not done properly to make it any good. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! You can see below how sad the burger was for this didn't even cover the whole bun

This is a very nice find for donuts in Lexington. It has some parking out front and is within easy walking distance from hotels on Main Street. Six of us went in here on a Sunday morning for some donuts and bagels. THe donuts were excellent! They had a lemon one this day and I love lemon! They offer several different kinds of bagels including everything bagels... you can also add egg, bacon and avocado. We will definitely have donuts and bagels from here again

Came by for lunch, ordered some burgers, they were alright, nothing special. They forgot to put lettuce on one burger but that's alright. Onion rings were pretty tasty. The Cole slaw was meh, had a sour taste to it.

I also got The Yardbird sandwich after the server recommended it. It's basically just chicken salad and lettuce between a ciabatta roll, but it was simple and great. And what the heck: I can't visit a bakery that has multiple sweets without getting one. I also listened to the advice of the server when she recommended the orange scone. She was right again! It was tender and tasted like a Froot Loop. Blue Sky is located on the corner of a busy street. There are lots of tables, but if you can, sit at the bar that looks out onto the street to see the hustling and bustling college town.

It's in Lexington, home of VMI, and the shop itself is diagonal from a post office built in 1911 with large columns lining its edifice. Sometimes, when college students leave great reviews, that means good food that isn't too expensive. True here, especially for what you get: generous servings on amazing bakery breads. I had the "Sorry Charlie" on a slice of focaccia -- topped with tomato slices and melted cheese and a satisfyingly crunchy, warm crust, with a simple but nicely refreshing black bean and corn salad. Dessert treats are also worth a splurge. The people couldn't be friendlier with customers of all ages enjoying themselves. (And they have a coffee bar. And a "speakeasy"!)

My 6yo daughter had the waffles, I got the twoseez which was basically toast, scrambled eggs and bacon (which said daughter took), pre-teen son had a bagel sandwich, and wife had an omelette. My wife's omelette was extremely flavorful. What really made it wonderful was the owner's kindness and honesty. Knowing we were tourists asked us what we planned on doing and when mentioning the near by safari park, he said "oh don't play to feed the animals" which was exactly what we needed our kids to hear because two week prior the kids had a field trip to a petting zoo and my daughters class including her all got sick and I didn't want a repeat of that on our vacation... so thank you dude. But also he gave some insider info on where else to go around and that was also appreciated.

Food was delicious. I had the vegetable panini, which was delicious and flavorful, and the bread was amazingly good! The other one had a gyro, which he only wished had been bigger (not that it was small.) The baked goods looked fantastic, but we didn't try any. Definitely recommend if you're looking for soup, sammies or sweets.

I was hungry and not in the mood to move my vehicle from the hotel parking lot as street parking in Lexington can be a challenge. I arrived at about 9AM and the only other customers were 2 college age girls who never exchanged a word with the other since they were on their phones. I ordered a Hillel and a large coffee. The only available creamer was pumpkin spice which I'd never had in my life. What is a Hillel you ask? It was salmon, caper, onion, and cream cheese in a bagel for about 10 bucks, however either it was tasty or I was starving and would have enjoyed a spam sandwich. The college aged staff were reasonably friendly, accommodating, and my order was ready in a jiffy. The cafe is located on the campus of Washington & Lee University whose current president has a left-leaning agenda for its students. Not a bad deal for a quick meal if you're hungry. The portions aren't huge, but probably more in line with quantities more conducive to health, and prices are somewhat high. PS I don't like pumpkin -spiced coffee
