So I have worn clip in hair extensions for as slong as i can remember. i have bought hair extensions online different types of hair, and I have grown tired of clip in hair extensions. For my birthday my boyfriend agreed to pay for my hairextensions, but this time I wanted them sewn in. I checked reviews and this place happened to have the BEST. I called and spoke with Portia and set an apointment for a consultation. When i arrived she took a look at my hair and she mentioned she knew EXACTLY what she wanted to do with my hair. I have to pay for the hair on the spot because she has to order it online. I set the date for the apointment. Once the day had come, I felt very comfortable with her. Conversation was flowing and she seems like she loves what she does. She is also good at it! The hair quality was very good. i have only been wearing the extensions for about 1 week and a half and so far everything iseems great. I walked out of my hair apointment very happy with the results. I have been extremely impressed with the services Portia provides. I have been to her twice for a sew in weave. I have worn weaves for more years than I like to admit. For me, it was always for convenience since I had demanding jobs, and commuted for long distances. I am also very particular on how I want my hair to look and she has exceeded my expectations. Her technique is done very professionally, and you don't have to be concerned that your tracks will loosen. That was a major concern for me since that has been problematic in the past. The hair is fantastic with very minimal shedding. Additionally, I am really impressed with the closure she used since it enhanced the overall look, and gave me a natural looking part if I chose to use it. it is nice to know that I can use the same hair repeatedly, and only have to purchase the closure from time to time. I have been in Austin for a little over a year and have been less than impressed with the hair services I have been receiving. However, all of that changed after my appointment with Portia. First off, I got lost on my way to the office since the GPS does not lead you directly to the office so she met me and showed me in, which was very nice of her. She made me feel at ease because I felt like I was going to be well taken care of in the hands of a professional. Also, she was very efficient with time. She didn't take all day to do my sew-in. She was styling me for my wedding and made me feel like a beautiful bride-to-be. My sew-in looks great. She blended my leave out VERY well. I love my hair!! I have never had a sew in and after reading reviews online took the leap and went to see Mrs. Portia. She was absolutely wonderful. I can't believe how careful she was. She took the time to explain to me what she was doing and didn't make me feel crazy for being a newbie to the world of sew ins. She took all my silly questions in stride and I felt like the most important person in the world while I I was in her chair. My hair is Gorgeous and my kids said so as soon as I walked into the door. I just got home from my first appointment with Portia. I'm very pleased with the results! I have had weaves in my hair for more years then I'd like to admit. I just moved to Texas and was online looking for a good stylist and came across Portia. Not only does she live up to her credentials, but she's a complete one stop shop. Coming from LA and Chicago where the stylists are always on point, I had extremely HIGH expectations & to my surprise she met everyone single one. She was able to make a miracle when my hair company shipped me the wrong hair. She gave me a great weave and cut and on top of that can color her butt off!
