I was referred by a lady we met in a S. Austin Target. My daughter is getting ready to go to camp…read moreand she wanted specific braids and it feels like everywhere to get braids you have to go north. We made the appointment, and they gave us the time they had available. Our appointment was scheduled for 9A and left early and made it there by 8:41A. When we made it inside there were 2 braiders currently taking care of people and they asked if we had an appointment. While we sat and waited 2 braiders came in and asked us what my daughter was getting and then got started shortly before 9A. Prior to this appointment I was told to ensure that my daughter's hair was washed and blow-dried and I am assuming that was why we weren't there long. The 2 braiders worked on opposite ends of her head. Whenever another braider came into the salon, they made sure to say hello and good morning to everyone. By 10:30A they finished her hair, and she was excited because this was her first time getting knotless and she loved. We will definitely be back.

So, I requested long Spring twists, or small passion twists and overall my hair looks nice. The…read moreservice took 6 hours. There was one lady that worked in the front of my hair by herself and one lady did the back of my hair by herself. I understand that the style took a long time because of the length and size I requested, plus they were a bit understaffed. I have a few "gripes." When I drove away one of the twists in the front slipped out. I could have turned the car around but after sitting for 6 hours, I was over it. I reattached it myself. Also, two days later, some of my natural hair is sticking out of the twists in the back and I've been working my hair back into them when I see it. Additionally my hair is parted into a small grid in the front and I have some pretty large parts in the back. Don't get me wrong, I get it, but in think my hair would look weird if I tried to put it in a half up half down style. Overall, the hair doesn't look bad I'm just not sure how long it's going to last. If you're in a pinch and need braids, maybe risk it. I might suck it up and drive to Houston next time.

She only does hair extensions (she does do a trim to blend extensions) and not color or other services. She does several types of extensions so she will fit you with the best extensions for your needs. She put me in dreamcatchers and several months in they are a dream. Silvana is not in a fancy high end salon atmosphere but it is clean and comfortable. She has a partner she works with to get your extensions in and moved quickly and easily. I find her service and prices to be spot on. Good extensions are not cheap but they can last for a year if taken care of properly. I am very happy to call myself a client!
