Be wary... Dr. Allen did not have the ozone therapy I came in to see him for in the office, so he…read morelooked for something else he could do. Even though I told him the ozone was helping to heal the odd sensation in my jaw and I wanted that treatment he said he didn't think that's what was needed then proceeded to adjust my neck and injure me. I've had neck adjustments from excellent chiropractors and his was completely off - I knew something was wrong immediately but hoped for the best. He continued to diagnose me and prescribe all kinds of supplements and when I went to pay it was $330! I have talked to another person who had a bad experience with him as well. Before coming in to see Dr. Allen I could sleep in any position happily with no problems, for 6 weeks now I've had to sleep on my back. Sitting has also been more challenging, certain angles cause pain so I have to be careful how I hold my body when I sit, something I've never had to do before. There are certain activities I have been avoiding as well so as not to stress or strain my neck. I've been working with an excellent chiropractor and getting massage and cranio sacral therapy which has helped it heal a-lot, but it's still not 100%. He may be good at certain things, but I personally do not think he should be doing chiropractic adjustments, and most importantly I did not go to see him for adjustments! I went in for something specific that he didn't have then he decided to mess with my neck, which still hurts 6 weeks after my appointment with lots of money spent on trying to fix it. I so wish I never stepped into his office....

Bachelorette favorite!!!…read more This is a beautifully unique spa. It's the most expansive spa in the state from my knowledge, with multiple pools, showers, and amenities. The locker rooms are fully stocked, and include sauna and steam rooms. These rooms are not co-ed by the way, but the open air pools and showers are. My massage was so relaxing. I love arriving early, enjoying the amenities before my service. Very pricey, but worth the splurge.

You are greeted, checked in and given a tour of the spa and facilities. It's like walking into another world. I scheduled a 50 minutes signature lomi massage and my massage therapist Chenoa was beyond amazing! She listened to my concerns and focused on those areas the most. I could tell from the moment she started that she was going to give the best massage! At the end of the massage I was given a small dark chocolate candy with a piece of dried banana and a cup of water at the end of my session. They had a sauna, steam room, 2 different heated pools with different temperatures, cold plunge, jacuzzi, and my favorite hydrotherapy. There were 2 different relaxing rooms, one was inside with a cool massaging chair and another open air room where the small snacks were. They offered natural flavored waters, hot teas, madeleine cookies, chocolate dipped macaroons, and apples. I would highly recommend Chenoa for your massage sessions! Also, the manager Jenna was very friendly and patient. They have both been with Aulani since they opened! Aloha & Mahalo!

I cannot recommend this spa enough! I wanted to treat my friend who lives on Oahu to a special day…read moreat the spa and this seemed like a great value with it not being in Honolulu or Waikiki (ie not relaxing). They also have discounts for kamaʻāina so if you're local or have someone local with you, be sure to ask. We came here 90 minutes before our appointments and got to enjoy the hot tub, steam room and sauna ahead of time. They have a lovely, relaxing lanai where you can lounge in your robe and slippers and embrace the full zen mode that Naupaka provides. Both of our massages were fantastic and afterwards we showered then went to the rooftop pool connected to the spa. Afterwards, we tried out their lotions and they have complimentary razors, hair brushes and tooth brushes. I was completely relaxed and never wanted the feeling to end. I've been to a few places on the island for spa and massage services and this is by far the best!

My rating is between 4-5 stars. I'd normally round up but I think the cons are worth noting…read more Pros: My daughters and I enjoyed a spa day and all of our technicians were terrific. The spa lap pool was great too as many spas don't have a good size pool, if at all. This was a smaller lap pool but still a huge plus. Cons: The spa amenities (women's jacuzzi, sauna, locker room) were still quite dated. I had hoped the recent updates would have updated the amenities to the four seasons caliber but sadly, no. The women's jacuzzi area is dark with only the natural lighting from the ceiling skylights which were quite dirty. The sauna was old and not spa clean, which is also a disappointment. The showers were also showing their age with chipped tiles, rust and general deferred maintenance which was surprising. The spa pool had 5 chaise lounges so I'm not sure how they accommodate spa guests by the pool on busier days. There's no attendant on the spa pool floor, towels were piled on the floor and the bathroom was unkempt. Overall, I'd choose the Aulani spa next door, which was surprisingly superior and tranquil. The only thing lacking at the Aulani spa was a spa pool.

We had a wonderful time at this tropical paradise spa during our 2 hour swim, sweat & soak session!…read moreSwimming in the pool while admiring the rock waterfall and statuary, soaking in the hot tub, taking a cold plunge (that is the coldest one I have tried!), relaxing in the sauna with a bubble window that looks out over a beautiful garden with birds. The grounds are stunning, with gorgeous tropical plants & flowers everywhere you look. Around sunset, 3 whippoorwills showed up and started singing to each other in the trees. I swear it was like they put on a show for us! Overall it was a magical experience. Cool citrus water was provided. Bring your own towels or rent one for $5. It seemed the cafe was not operating while we were there, so I picked up dinner at a restaurant a few minutes down the road while my sweetheart got his massage. We each had a wonderful 1-hour massage with Lila Lara. She is fantastic! That was the best massage of my life, an integration of Swedish massage, lomi lomi, and craniosacral. Ask them to book you with her when you schedule a massage! I wish we had arrived earlier in the day and booked 1.5 hours for massages. There were a few other people at the pool and a caretaker who checked in with us frequently. This was a great way to get relaxed at the start of our vacation! My pics don't do it justice but you can trust the pics from the website and social media pages - it IS that gorgeous.
